Why are stories with FAR LESS VOTES getting selected ahead of stories with MORE VOTES!??
This has happened twice now.
Aside from getting Fast Passes, what is the point of even voting if they're going to do things this way!?!

SaxonViolence I feel ya. I've seen some books with like 20 chapters, no votes, no comments, and like a singular review be above my own book, with far more in all of those aspects. It's kinda annyoing, tbh.

The voting is there to just make people feel like they are making a difference, even though your vote will change nothing, and even if it does, it is gonna be such a small difference that in the greater scheme of things it's still nothing, but do not give up young Daoist, it's time for us to rise up against the Great Righteous Sects! If it takes a demon to find justice, then we will become demons and rule over the three realms for eternity! 😡

Happy_AltRight I have often thought that the novels are picked well before the votes are even counted.
I do wonder why fresh new Plot Ideas are far less likely to be picked up, than the fifth plagiarism of a HALF-ORIGINAL Plot.

Books aren't released because of the fast-pace system that's put in place. Some authors can't write that fast, so it's bottlenecked on the author's side. Some translators can't get to the chapters fast enough, or a combination of the two.

Why those books are chosen is purely because that's what the general paying reader wants: half-original plots.
