grimreaper906 I know, right? "I killed all four generations of this guy's family just because a bunch of idiots pissed me off." But hey, it's okay because it's revenge, or because he's ensuring that he prevents any of them from taking revenge on him and show that he's not easily bullied, to warn people that they'll suffer the same fate if they provoke him or some bs like that. Pretty sure it's gonna have the opposite effect, especially when other clans and other people continue to provoke him anyway, which renders the whole genocide thing pointless.

I think I have a problem tho 😂😂😂 it's a smut novel but too much smut makes me stop reading the book 😂😂😂

Well well, the list is quite long but my top three are:
1. Sexual harassment, incest, or any work portraying an unhealthy relationship as a healthy one
2. Dumb side characters, no general character depth or development, villains with 30 IQ.
3. Unnecessary descriptions repeated all over the work to hit the min word count, some are very funny tbh...
The male lead descended from his horse and he was so beautifully handsome that all the world around him lost its color and everyone turned their heads towards him but he was uninterested blahblah he looked at the female lead and he took three steps in one and his soul-sucking-ocean-containing-night-blue eyes looked at her meaningfully and the world around him which had lost its color regained its beauty as he advanced towards her...so after three paragraphs the male lead could finally reach fl's side

Tomoyuki it hurts when fl downright rejects the perfect second lead of love intrest that is waaay better than that rapist ml
And there are novels that start with a rape 🤦🏻‍♀️
Ml takes that intoxicated fl to hotel room with zero security where reports can come whenever they want (is it a Shak or what😂,)
Not some hospital coz that's so unethical to him and his horny brain 😂

Nana_1928 how come you are still on webnovel 😂 or you read male lead stories coz,
90% of female lead content here starts that way😅

        grimreaper906
Based on two types of reading type here on wn
        Female lead novels
Well rape on the first chapter
Intoxicated mc taken to hotel room full of reporters by ml 10000% turn off
Cherry on top is that rape maks fl praggy and she giving birth to kids that are swamped and taken to ml (coz y not)
        If not that
        That mafia ml
How That full on god level op fl is still weaker in front of ml🤦🏻‍♀️
-That assistant fl which is 100% based on Anastasia from 50 shades
-that ceo or top actor ml whose personality is 100% bases on grey from 50 shades

        Male lead novels
        Harem
        Harem
        Harem
        Lolita
        Fls with no brain cell

        Tomoyuki
You said it yourself before, saying something like it's simpler this way since you don't have a lover. Plus, dude, I'm not talking about why harem is bad or isn't bad, of course cheating will break people's hearts, I'm just saying that you should get married, 'tis a piece of advice.

SlaveOfTheLord Then why ppl hate reverse harem and bl ?🥺
I read a few harem manga fl there act like the have dropped there brain somewhere most of them act like accessories to ml (in iseki al they do is fight for him in wars and produced progenies for ml🤦🏻‍♀️ )
Plus those perticular traits of each lady
          Loli
          Curvy with no brains
          Smart ass flat
          that sportsgirl/ warrior
That childhood friend (having one of the above mentioned traits)
          That curvy tomboy 🤦🏻‍♀️
          That sane one
          That tsuundere one(mostly loli)

            Ceehillm

I do agree and I believe I said so in my post. My point was more of a joke than to disagree.

            Tomoyuki

Ahh… this makes more sense. I thought of it as male lead vs female lead. Lol.

            Nana_1928

This is very true. I just thought it was funny that it read that way.

I literally can’t read your response. Sorry, I’m not talented enough to master English, so other languages are completely out of my reach. However, I’ll just assume that it says something like, “Wow, I completely agree with everything you said.”

              grimreaper906

Pretty much agree with the others above, but I wanted to clarify:

              1. Abuse in relationships. For example: works where the partner(man or woman), slaps the MC for disagreeing with them, etc.. Then bends them over the kitchen table or the like..🤮 Portrayals of MCs taking abuse because the other character(s) ‘don’t know how to love’..🤮 If you care for someone, you should want to protect/comfort them, not hit them. Abuse is NOT a sign of love, it’s a sign of control.
              1. I hate it when intimate scenes are used too much in a work as well. Sex is a part of life, but I don’t want to read about it every five chapters. It’s like some writers use it as filler, then it just gets repetitive and boring😒. I prefer fewer, more detailed scenes that describe the emotions and motives between the two characters. Not just wham, bam, thank you mam(which a lot just open with a one night stand, so not even a ‘thank you’ after😑).

              2. The writing itself.. If the story is good, then I can overlook grammatical and sentence structure errors. But add in plot issues: you’ve lost me. There are some amazing stories out there from non-native English writers, so I’ll just mentally insert commas, semi colons, etc.. But if the story falls apart or the world building is inefficient, then I’ll drop the work. And I say work because I’ve dropped a few comics for over-sexing the work, or convoluting the story too much.

              ~Kinda off topic a smidge, but…

              1. When the author drops the work🤬. I HATE investing time into a work, then it just…stops. I Refuse to do the trial reads for this reason. I just vote to get my fast pass, then go. I also won’t read anything else from that author when they drop works without a reason. I become emotionally invested in the characters, and to just stop the work with no explanation just shows that readers are only dollar signs to said author. I’m not talking about the ones where the author actually EXPLAINS why they dropped the work(which are few), but the ones that just…stop. I am an author, and my stories are my brain babies. Even if I can’t make money off of them, I still want to finish them. And who knows? Maybe they’ll become popular in the future or something? Either way: d**k move to get readers(even if it’s only a few), invested into the characters just to not finish it.
