I'm trusting you guys with your taste, I wonder what type of books you rate the highest and it can't be your own! What are some of the best novels you've ever read on this platform and give me one reason why it's so great. Mine is Supreme Magus by Legion20. One of the best novels I've read on this platform so far. The main character has a tragic background therefore he has a distant and cold persona. The psychology presented in this novel is almost scholar level and I can't get enough of it. I really hope you guys read it.

Jk aside, two novels come to my mind when talking about the best novel I've read. One is a JP novel called 'To be a power in the shadows' the other is a Chinese one called 'Lord of Mysteries'. Only the Chinese one is on this platform so I'll give a reason for that. LoM is good, because of the deep world building. It has one of the deepest, most intricate world buildings I've read. Now mind you, I am only talking about web novels here.

I can't say I really have a favorite on this site, since, believe it or not, I don't really read that many web novels.

Shocker, I know. Why the hell am I even on this platform?

Anyway, of all the novels I have read, hands down my favorite of all time is David Copperfield, by Charles Dickens. I know, it isn't a web novel, but classical literature is great stuff, all from a time when romanticism was at its peak. Since then, it's only been in decline...

Best regular novel... Release that Witch. So many times I thought the plot was going one way when it took a left turn at Albuquerque. Was an amazingly fun read.

Best lemon novel... Dual Cultivation. The update rate is complete shite but the story itself is fun.

Best runner up of a mix would be the fanfic EPIC. The initial arc in Danmachi is a wonderful read, the lemon parts are nicely done... then Vahn goes system hopping and things just careen wildly everywhere. Still a fun read but needs to end as its suffering from massive character, plot and harem bloat.

Coiling Dragon- the OG novel that introduced me to lightnovels.
Warlock in a Magus World- better than Supreme Magus in my opinion
Ancient Strenghtening Technique- best at fluff and R-18
Long Live Summons- the best at the beast and monster genre

Battle through the heavens, Release the witch, Sololeveling, Am I a spider?, no game no life, reverend insanity
