  • Good news and bad news for Fast Pass

I think it's kind of dumb that nobody announced the sudden discontinuation of fast pass on the PC or browser version. Like, that's a major change, so why not officially announce it? You have all the Events and Messages and Notifications, with the stupid Messages spamming us every time someone gifted a novel (who the f needs to know about this?), but a major change like PC no longer getting free passes just goes unnannounced? No wonder everyone's raging. It's a rude shock.

In any event, I have good news and bad news.

Bad news: Yes, as you've already figured out, you can't get free passes on PC or on browsers any longer. You only get points.

Good news: You can still get fast passes on the app, and in fact, it appears that there are more ways for you to get fast passes now. So if you do the daily missions, you can get up to 4 all-works fast passes and 1 genre fast pass. So potentially 5, or 4 if you're unfortunate enough to get a genre you don't read. So this was what dapenggaofei meant when he said we would receive "more benefits."

What if you don't have a phone or the app (or if your phone can't install the app)? Then...quite frankly, you're screwed. Obviously I think this is less than ideal, but I'm not in charge. Sorry. I prefer having the options on PC, personally. And the less I say about this, the better, or I'll go off on another rant. Anyway...I hope this helps.

      well i was using the app in the past but now with my phonr being broken and being used to read on a bigger screen this is like a middlefinger to us pc reader

        Acluduo A good solution is to download the app (android emulation on PC is an option if you have no way to download the app on an android device), do the daily missions (takes less than 1 minute to do 3 for fast passes), and then normally use them and read your desired novel on PC/web browser. Hopefully it helps. 🙂

              Whytea Issue with that is so many android emulators are malware. Any android emulator suggested to you by someone else, you can find at least 10 different sites/people saying that emulator has malware. Makes it difficult to trust any of them when you get negative feedback for every option you look up.

It's that how the plural is written ¿) in the app the daily check will give you either a universal pass or a genre pass, you get one universal pass for using energy stones and power stones, and one for watching an ad, you can also get an additional one if you watch an ad in the daily checkout but sometimes you get points or exp so don't expect to get more than three.... Also fast pass expire on seven days so be sure to use them!!

                      I understand the rage and frustration, and while I find the threats and screaming on the forums utterly juvenile - seriously, if you want to leave, then leave. No need to throw a tantrum and announce to the whole world what you want to do or kick up a fuss in the forums - I think Webnovel is also at fault here. On one hand, you have one party childishly kicking a fuss and issuing threats because they can't read for free and boasting about how they will go to pirate sites instead, and on the other hand, the other party is utterly dismissive and couldn't care less about what's going on in their site or the forums.

                      The worst thing? The people in the middle like me have it the worst. I'm not asking people to stay on the site - if you want to leave, feel free. If you don't want to pay, don't. Just don't be so childish about it and tell the whole world. And I can tell you right now, after my interaction with the people who's supposed to be in charge, they don't care. They don't give a single f what you do. They don't even read the forums.

                      Instead, it's people in the middle who aren't in charge who have to deal with the fallout. So, just calm down and leave quietly. Raging on the forums does absolutely nothing, other than you taking your anger out on people who aren't in charge, who didn't even make the decision.

                        Tomoyuki I thought it was me going crazy when this happened to and I was on my laptop!! So it turned out to be this 🤨😑. I have a fairly good amount of contemporary romance fast passes here and sadly I don't like this genre much so the fast pass is just sitting there😔 and I have absolutely nothing to do with it. What am I to do 😕🧐
