If you end up signing a contract you are guaranteed at least 400 USD per month if you fulfill certain criteria. But you can gain income without signing a contract by publishing on other platforms and from fan donations. You can also participate in the writing contests they sometimes hold.

ChrisX No, as far as I know, completed novel is not a necessary for a contract, but update frequency, writing quality and popularity are.
