This site's a cesspool of toxicity and entitlement. Tue 'authors' here are the prime example of self-deluded fools who think that their shit is worth is weight in gold. The biggest issue is that you're on a competitive platform competing against other competitive platforms that give better free shit FOR FREE. The people there are happy to do so, because of the community, because of the opportunity for free criticism, and because it gets their work out there. The quality on this site, does not support the business model they want to use... The price they want you to pay, simply isn't worth it; time is money, and mine is better spent elsewhere.

Warlordsh Yeah, I posted something about it myself. I'm just going to go to a different site again; I waited for almost half a year; and the app is still crap. It's crashed 4 times for me in the past hour, constantly has popups when exiting a 'novel'. It's just poor design, I just can't even begin to understand why the people who run this site keep making these massive shifts. Imagine half this crap suddenly being implemented on YouTube... I have no idea how this company is still afloat, beyond Chinese cash infusion.
I read only on mobile, I had to drop Webnovel period because of how dysfunctional the app WAS. I came back today, and the app wasn't a complete mess, but there's so much crap now it's annoying. Case in point the glowing orange point/store thing in the top right corner that can't be disabled. I've poked around the settings and turned off farming, etc. And yet it's still there, it basically invalidates dark mode and is just too distracting. There shouldn't be anything in the reading mode period, whoever designed that should lose their job. Make a separate tab and be sure to add a bunch of notifications to it, to further annoy users. Webnovel feels like it's becoming less of a reading site and more like a casino with all these 'features'.
Seriously, we need a filter for post regions. This site is practically worthless to me now; it takes a monolithic effort to find acceptably legible novels. For most of the originals section, you'd be better off MTL and save yourself the headache. I just really can't be bothered to explain anymore, the problems self-evident. Considering Webnovels record, my hopes aren't high. Seriously, invest in your search filters, it just isn't worth sorting through what's available manually; not with the god awful interface for the mobile app. The app 6 months ago was far better in actual usability. Right now it's just form over function.
LakotaPhoenix You put it on the internet, it's gone.
NagatoSaitou The grammar of the novel is by no means bad. But, it's plagued in the first couple of paragraphs by poor word choice, and what can only be described as long-winded sentences. For example where there should be 'coloured', there's 'colour's', etc... Just small mistakes. It still looks good though, but you should definitely remember to read out loud when editing, it helps when it comes to catching mistakes. Another tip would be to edit the day after you write it, it makes catching mistakes even easier.
Jenjibread I'm not big on romance novels, but from the brief look I gave it, the quality is definitely top tier for this site.

Does anyone have any good fanfic/original suggestions? I'm looking for one in English that is actually legible/readable. Not one written by someone with next to no understanding of the English language. I find myself gradually falling out of love with this platform, because the standards of writers have continued to drop... More and more novels posted in a frenzy to garner a measly few readers and collections, their comment sections filled with spam, emojis, etc... What happened?
A subscription that gave an allowance of ss a day would be great as well.
Yes please

Description:
Passerby 1: “Xia Ping!!!! You robbed my martial arts, snatched my immortality and even took my fiancee bastard, you and I aren’t over.”Passerby 2: ”He’s martial arts scum.”
Passerby 3: “Demon! Ugh, even childrens’ lollipop weren’t spared. ”
Martial artists of Yan Huang couldn’t help but dream about breaking Xia Ping bones into a million pieces and drink his blood.
Xia Ping stroking his chin: ”System with so many hate points, which holy immortal or peerless martial arts, or heavenly artifacts should I choose.”
Read the few chapters that were translated I have to say this novel seems interesting.
