what? so IRAS really has been banned by the actual SARF?
Iras dropped?
i thought you guys talking about Zang-Ye banned by SARF thing lol. IRAS will continue translate this novel right?
andytoro Yes, the author has had his books banned before. So what happens to Zhang Ye is really stuff he has encountered before. It's quite meta with how Zhang Ye changed from a pervert because of Wu Zeqing (read SARFT), due to the previous ban.
The translations will continue as far as it can go.

Mute Said by people that don't know any better or are trying to smear Qidian. Copyright infringement (if any) is a civil problem, not something that will result in being banned (governmental ban, since SARFT is a government entity). Besides, there are things such as "fair use". IRAS isn't building its entire story on the Frozen franchise, just mentioning in passing as one of the tiny arcs in the long novel.
It's funny how the author of IRAS seems a bit like Zhang Ye. haha

Any respond from qidian
?IRAS still continue?
If IRAS got banned by SARF then author can still write and qidian can still translate to English because SARF just have privilege at china
I hope the author continues the work and publish it on QI even if its not published in china... We international fans are really enjoying the story xD
I see. I was stockpiling chapters to read by leaving it for about a year. Hopefully the ban is lifted soon before I decide to catch up with the chapters.

The author posted this short paragraph(?) in response to his ban.
Here is the original text of the photo:
"非人力可抗原因,《我真是大明星》写不了了,以后允许的话,会补上结尾的。
新书在这里,发布时间待定。
敬请期待。"
Quick translation:
"Due to reasons that I am unable to resist, I am unable to write "I'm Really a Superstar" [anymore], if I am permitted to in the future, I will attach an ending.
The new book is here, release time to be determined.
Please stay tuned."
The situation does not look very optimistic for IRAS. I've read the MTL up to a certain point, and it certainly does get crazy, with Zhang Ye's influence crazily shooting up and his resume growing ever more expansive. Still, it does feel rather nostalgic that it might end like this. There were some really powerful moments in the novel, and despite its meandering plot, the tangible progression of Zhang Ye and his relationships with those around him really allows you to reflect and feel the path he's traversed:
[Oops, my bad- spoiler tag doesn't work, but just take my word for it... ]
It will be missed.
noooo I just started reading this novel!!!
damn...is that so? hope the author will keep writing IRAS
