Like the time when he brought that greedy retard to the inheritance cave and what a fucking coincidence! the recording that the evil gu master left suddenly switched and starting talking about the inheritance.. And this is pretty much how all the trouble the mc faces show up, just random retarded coincidences.. There not a single point in thta story that is realistic and it’s basically full a forced plot which later gets resolved by plot armor that some masochists seem to enjoy reading..

Sythcake mc is not actually naive, simply acts like one. Till the current translated chapters, he is still not truly evil. The supposed 'good' ones have different values than him, which leads to conflicts and his sect is 'heavenly demonic cult'
Sythcake nah, what you want is a schemer MC who likes mind games and outwit the opponent. Most MCs tend to be too OP so they brute their way out for everything. That's probably why you think that Xianxias aren't evil.

Sythcake Carefree Path of Dreams. pretty popular not sure if you read it or not. warning tho its premium. The character isnt evil but more in a sense cruel-ish. He will hold grudges, plan things out, slightly low key and such. Its a pretty good read. If you don't mind your SS draining.

Quiescent_Rumble it gets really good, im up to the point where the translator has translated, there is no sex involved or even harem. It is about cultivation and such. Do give it a go again. His stats are relatively the same as every other people in the novel except he has botany and others dont.

TBSandNME Porn, harem, relationship, sex all these things are often bad for a story.
At least for my taste. I am sure that I am very alone with that taste because nearly every story has at least one of these.
I love stories where the protagonist is overpowered, unknown and without a partner of any kind.
I do not per se prefer female protagonists but it seems to me that a larger percentage of female than male protagonists are well written with more to them than just fighting through the main story, if there is a story at all.
