Perhaps because the author added "the girl who is a beauty and hates the protagonist and now had to live with him"?
I don't even have to guess what will happen. I think that was the point where I did not want to read another cliche.
Quiescent_Rumble it gets really good, im up to the point where the translator has translated, there is no sex involved or even harem. It is about cultivation and such. Do give it a go again. His stats are relatively the same as every other people in the novel except he has botany and others dont.

TBSandNME Porn, harem, relationship, sex all these things are often bad for a story.
At least for my taste. I am sure that I am very alone with that taste because nearly every story has at least one of these.
I love stories where the protagonist is overpowered, unknown and without a partner of any kind.
I do not per se prefer female protagonists but it seems to me that a larger percentage of female than male protagonists are well written with more to them than just fighting through the main story, if there is a story at all.
Try The Enunch's Hand Covering the Sky. It only has 180 chapters though. Extreme Summons also fits the bill but it is 18+.
