How does one write 1500 words daily, what is your routine, how long does it take you, what is your process?
Originally when starting to write one of my stories I kept a pace of a daily publishing of 1600 words daily for about 10 chapters and got burned out. Now I'm trying to be more methodical about the chapters but I can see that you don't get popular/many readers if you don't post daily, supposedly because of the sheer quantity of stories here on web novel. I haven't written consistently in a couple years due to having a child.
Is there a time of day you like to write or music you like to listen to? Is there a process how you build your story like brainstorming? Do you write down any inspiration you have when you're not writing?

    Tbh, it's just going out of your comfort zone to write. The goal is to write that many words in a day. You have a whole day. So whenever you feel like writing or you think you can produce something worth writing. Write and save it. Write 200 words, 100, or even a Para. Slowly build the words throughout the day and at the end of the day, you'll probably have a good-length chapter. Because something is better than nothing and some progress is still progress.       Sinadin well I don't really have the WHOLE day everyday, but I suppose on breaks at work I can squeeze out a hundred words here and there. I do think that's a nice process!

          Sapphire_Ace I current have a system of writing 2000 words per chapter, (Some special chapters have less or more, but at least 90% of my chapters have 2000 word)

          Also I always write small paragraphs so it's easier to read, and I constantly go back and edit chapters for typos and grammar mistakes.

          As for music, I either put in instrumental tracks in the background, or listen to playlists on Spotify that corresponds to the mood of the chapter.

          let's say I'm writing a chapter about a murder mystery, I'll listen to songs and music that fits the chapter in order to further inspire me to write.

          Also when I started writing here on Webnovel, which was about a year ago, I used to daily update for like two months until I stopped because life got busy, so I decided to adapt to a system where I have to update at least once a week.

          Recently I got a burst of creativity and went as far as putting two chapters a day for two days, basically four chapters in two days, but that's a rare occurrence now.

              Try brainstorming with a notebook and pen, focus on the characters personality and the target plot and audience, and then make a plan for the story that makes sense. I typically write about 1.3K words per day, and so how I do that is taking 30 minutes to an hour to write down some ideas!

                  like I said before, in two days I wrote four chapters, but there'll be times where I might surpass two week to write a chapter.

                  currently I have two stories, but the one I focus on the most has more than 180 chapter, it's called NedGarrick.

                  I just checked the statistics of my story ( I usually avoid it because I find it confusing and unrealistic, most of the statistics are unreal.)

                  Anyways Webnovel says that my story has about 144.39k in general views, (Views are people who click on your story to see it, not necessarily read it) and it was added to 250 collections.

                  And daily chapter read is about 12.67

                  Also so far there's three sweet readers of mine who occasionally leave comments, power stones and interact with the chapters to ask me questions.

                    Sapphire_Ace I also write around 1500 words per chapter .I burn out if I write more than a week for one of my books so to not get burn out I write for other books so that I don't get bored.For me when I get burn out means that I get bored, Hahaha .I know is weird but for me that's how it is.So my magical technique of no getting tired is switching up my books .This gives my inspiration and I don't overthink as much as when I write one book at a the time.Also I saw that my inspiration skyrockets .Probably because I have this drive of diversity that makes me come up with lots of ideas for my books.
                    About the way I brainstorm ... I don't really like to brainstorm to much since the ideas came as a write the chapter.I tried before to kind of plan what to write but the detail changed dramatically as i start o write.So now I just think over all what I want for the chapter and the situations came on the spot as I write.I imagine a lot ....

                    As for songs , I feel that with songs I can write more chapters .But if I don't listen to music my one chapter is better than when I listen to music since I can focus more on the words and grammar.But usually, I don't write without songs .My choice of music depends on what I want to write.For example , I am about to write a hot scene m, my favorite song is Hynotic by zella day.If I write a criminal action packed chapter my favorite song that gets me in the mood is Yad by erika lundmoen .To not forget that the songs should be seed up .Hahaha ! I have pretty peculiar tastes. Just me ?

                        redlady Songs actually help more than Silence, also I at first I started with one story then I think after half a year is where I created the second story, so now I'm writing two stories together.

                        However they're both BL and maybe too controversial, so I understand why they may not appeal to the general audience ( Since I'm an LGBTQ Writer, I rarely ever share my stories with others because many wouldn't want to read it, even if it's a good story)

                        Also, I'd like to believe that my stories are for everyone and that they're not typical BL stories, there's more than just romance, when I write I like to add a little bit of everything, there's lotta of stuff in my stories that are inspired from real world struggles, lots of jokes and references because I love memes 😅😂 and many life lessons.

                            QW_JiHi yeah I noticed I used to like bl anime shows but then got burned out because it wasn't super realistic or relatable even though I'm just a girl lol 😅

                              Sapphire_Ace I feel you so much on different levels.....I literally wrote 5 chapters on one story and than I started to write the second book ... and after I wrote five chapters for the second book I started to write the third one ...... Now I am having so much fun ! ....even thought it is a little hard to have big visible progress at one book.

                                  QW_JiHi I have a morning routine of reading bl mangas as they update on mangabuddy.That's how much I like bl .So of course my first novel was bl mixed with furry. Hahahah !
                                  I also like to write realistic and put lots of comedy in my novels.
                                  I am in the most unconventional ideas so I guess I will probably like your book.I will git it a try.

                                      I usually write in sprints of 25 minutes. Each sprints generally gives around 600 words and such 4 sprints makes its around 2400 words for me each day.

                                      I also write listening to the writing music. Which gets in the mood to write.
