      Well, we'll see what webnovel thinks - they can see IPs. Also, even if the guy has really good family and friends, it's quite something for them to log into webnovel every day and make sure to give their pstones

        If you want to laugh, Webnovel even put such novel on the front page. Even MULTIPLE times.

        Actually you should do this as an Author.

        Vote manipulate your way to Top 100.

        Webnovel would pick your novel in Trending Section. I only saw a strange novel yesterday not in Top 100.

        You will get huge exposure. If your novel really good, you will have readers, which will allow you to slowly remove your clones.

        Webnovel put a blind eyes to this pactice.

          Even if i really don't like this practice, mostly because i makes me feel like these guys are just writing so that people can come stroke their dick/clit/ego for them rather than because they actually want to write and publish a good novel.

          i also understand that its simply something that won't change. big bro @WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL isn't going to check or delete duplicate ip reviews, they're not going to filter anything, nor will they block people from making alt accounts to review again. Hell, like the guy above me said, they even actively promote a couple of those novels already, with the most blatant ones being Shadow Hack and Last Wish System.

          It's just the way things are, and it happens on every single platform where making reviews is possible, unless some controls are put in place, such as duplicate IP review and duplicate IP account blocking. Even then, there are plenty of ways around that so its not entirely fool proof either.

          So, given @WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL 's complete lack of shits given for this matter, i highly doubt anything will be done, much less implementing Duplicate IP blocks, because all they care about is making money. The rest can either go to hell or sort itself out on the way there.

            LetThereBeMagic Nope. I think there is an editor. There is several novels which get publicized several times in a row. If it is algorithm, it wouldn't happen. They would check when the last time a novel appeared. Also it would be better for their sites if the Trending Original and Daily Update section had different novel every time. It would make their originals seems larger, but sometimes same novel appeared at the same time. (I don't think this matter actually if the author post their novel daily, they should be given a chance to appear in daily.)

            Also high rated/voted novel, but with poor writing barely entered both Daily and Trending. There is someone who read and check.

            Perhaps the editor miss click when he adds that novel.

            Do you realize FanFic rarely get front page for example while they have lots novels in Top 100? Yet once in a full moon, there is one or two in the front page. If they use algorithm they wouldn't appear at all or would appear multiple times.

                MasterRabbink have you read ghost King or knight or whatever? It is being featured on the main page for a few days already. This one is not even half-baked. Still raw and bloody. Such a slap in the face for original authors who have been begging for editors and proofreaders.

                    If they used algorithm, remove novels with Last Update more than 1 days.

                    Also to be warned, there is a fishy novel in the current contest. BE CAREFUL @WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL! He/she played a good clones/somewhat he/she had lots of friend in Webnovel. You should check the IP before announced it.

                    The number of chapter (no interesting point yet) + non Naruto/FanFic/System/FemaleRomance + even the author's past readers (if the author used Bai method) compared to the vote didn't match.

                    If this works, then it is an EASY way to make some FREE SS. Gwahahaha.

                                There are like more than 50 reviews from the same translator buffing the rating of the novel he is translating. You think they would care about less obvious ones if they don't even care about such a blatant abuse of the system? Atleast that guy seems to be doing it subtly, so i see no chance of webnovel taking action whatsoever...
