Now, let us talk qualifications. As I mentioned earlier, the bulk of my experience comes from proofreading academic scripts. However, I do have a long-standing interest in reading novels and webnovels alike, be it western or eastern. As such, I am familiar in the way they are written. If this is of any value to you, I hold a certificate in MUET with Band 5.

Lastly, rates. 1.5$ per 1000 words is my offer after taking into consideration my own inexperience in this sector as well as consideration for the authors here. This is, of course, negotiable.

Actually, recruitment is always open (I think) since the apply position button is always on the Inkstone dashboard. If you hover your mouse over the 'Assistants' button, the apply position button appears! If you click on it, you can apply for an editor or translator position. You'd have to fill in the form and go through a test (mine was to edit a chapter). Why don't you try it?

And yeah, it certainly is painful to watch great ideas being thrown away just because the presentation isn't good enough. I've read many interesting novels but the joy of reading them simply vanishes when I correct every grammatical error in my brain XD.

So my character is: Ivan Von Gromhart

-He is an OC I've drawn, I'm also an artist (anime)
-His backstory is set back in the European Middle-Ages where the governance is by aristocracy
-He is the first son of Earl Karl Von Gromhart, so he is the heir of the Gromhart House
-He was spoiled and pampered, thus making him vain, arrogrant and yet spineless
-Did not have many friends aside from the other noble children
-Went to a prestigious academy
-Some time later, went to a field trip(lol) where a... well... catastrophe happened.
-All of them got teleported to the Athelian Wilderness; an extremely dangerous place filled with monsters and demons
-Struggled to survive there and had his personality shifted thanks to the events which transpired. ( fought with his friends and the commoner students etc)
-Managed to survive, returned after x years
-Back home, he was declared as dead, the brother he bullied replaced him as heir
-And so, he left, becoming an adventurer/wanderer/whatever u want him to be.(I have'nt decided yet:))
