I've been planning to write and publish a story here but there's a few questions bothering me. Since I've been only Reading web novels for over a month, i'd like to ask if there's certain guidelines is writing one such as what genres are covered, are there any that doesn't fit in web novels, does the characters name need to be Chinese (I feel stupid asking this one but I just want to make sure), how many words should there be in a chapter, and such. I want to know what makes web novel different from other novels as to fit what would I like to write.
