usually with writer's block, it's not uncommon or bad to focus on something else before you continue to write. I mean you're staring at the same story constantly that, at a certain point, you'll become sort of desensitized/used to what you're seeing that you can't think of anything more.
taking a break is a good way to just cool your head off and a good opportunity to come back in a different perspective.
I've heard that, when you're struggling to write the next scene or what not, that it's usually a problem with the writing leading up to it. Maybe a specific way a certain sentence is phrased or such, so I suggest going back to those earlier chapters and changing up what you need to. No harm in changing the story if it'll help it flow better later on.
