Those yaoi novels are pretty annoying though, have to black list them every time I find a good series.
Take_the_Moon I agree. I I hate those kind of novels. I though I do like my wife is a beautiful ceo, I think that is the only way one that has 'rape' in in it.
There aren't really that many wuxias that have a single love interest, that disappoints me. I can't get into romance novels because its the same thing over and over: trash FL, and I good guy.... Love... Past... and cringe romantic rivals.
You may say that its the same with wuxias, but I'm biased.
endangered33 I'm not much of a romance guy since I got married quite early, but one that did catch my interest was adopted soldier. Quite nice and quirky. Its got some romance but the humor and misunderstandings are what catches your attention.
One that doesn't involve romance that much is My Disciple Died Yet Again. The humor in this series is gold and the relationship of the to FL and ML develop quite quickly. Having nearly 400 chaps means its short and saves you time.

DeJeL they usually switch antagonists. LoHP has way too minor antagonists. They nearly never pose a threat to Zhang Xuan.
Series that did have an antagonist were DMWG, for the first 1.2k chaps, he faced one guy over and over, like three times.
Antagonists always get power jumps for no apparent reason. The MC also lets them to grow from an ant status to a powerhouse.
I dislike weak to strong series because of that.
Prehistoric_Wolf Reincarnation series don't have op protagonist. They are op for their age but has an anagonist like a thousand times older than them.
Have you ever seen these guys face people who are the same layer as them? No! The authors wants a bit of spice...
The op factor of MC is dependent on the antagonist.

bachingchung that's why I hate those novels where MC is a kid compared to the others he is fighting. JUST GO CULTIVATE IN A CAVE OR SOMETHING. If he has a high talent (like in the painting of the nine immortals) why not hide in a cave till you cultivate you dumb idiot protagonist. Martial world has an excuse, you need experience to cultivate higher, fine OK. But what about the rest? They clearly show that the people in the series stay at home and cultivate until they are strong enough. Wth protagonists?

lynerparel anything really. Harem is not my cup of tea but it is amusing. Comedy is something I enjoy as well, without comedy amusement goes down.
Action IS a must, because I hate those dumb protagonists that just don't use their power. Hiding strength is fine, unless the MC just gets trashed on 24/7 and he does nothing.
lynerparel yes, I have read originals as well. I have also checked no velupdates but I have read most of CN ones, the rest are JP cliché harem and no plot trash.
I have read novels for around three years or more. I have liked weak to strong novels at that time. But then it hit me, protagonist strong from the start. I started reading this tag and that made me realise protagonist strong from the start was my favourite tag. Even if it is raw, I can use the power of mtl.
By the way, I have read too many novels of this tag, so many suggested may have already been read by me.
