In Poland, where I'm from, for example, they recently closed not only schools, but also pubs, shopping centres, cinemas and other types of shops. They only ones allowed to open are supermarkets, pharmacies and shops that offer a takeout option.

They also made a rule that any kind of gathering, both public and private, over 50 people is forbidden and will be punished.

Ding Mom Arc:
Ding Mom was slowly losing it. Living each day, alone, when even her neighbors despised her, she would at some point erupt. Qiao Nan could feel it after her last conversation with Ding Mom, so after a talk with Soaring, she decided to let Ding Mom move over to Qiao Zizi's old house.

Before, when Qiao Zizi had to sell her house, Soaring heard about it from someone. Knowing that the house truly should belong to Qiao Nan who paid for it, he ended up buying it. MC only got to know about it later on.

Using that fact, Qiao Nan now wanted to have Ding Mom move over there, hoping that a new environment, in which her neighbors won't be biased against her, could do her some good. I'm pretty sure Ding Mom wanted to cut herself off from her 'old worries', so she even ended up changing her phone number so that some people (Qiao Zizi) couldn't contact her.

Qiao Zizi Arc:
Qiao Zizi has been living in Chen Feng's house for some time now. As always, her life's priorities are messed up. Instead of thinking about her kid and how to compensate him her lackluster behaviour before, she starts thinking about how to milk him out so that she can live comfortably.

When Qiao Zizi 'accepted' Chen Feng's custody from his grandparents, she thought that they would give her some money each month to pay for Chen Feng's daily life, so she could use it for herself. However, Chen family had some experience on dealing with her, so knowing her, they decided to put all the money directly onto Chen Feng's hands.

The house was nice and all, but our princess Zizi needs to eat. When Chen Feng was at home, he would buy some food and cook, so both of them could eat it. However, for most of the time, he would stay in his school's dormitories, coming back once per 2 weeks.

When he's not there, there's nobody to take care of food for her. Ding Mom for most of her life wouldn't let her do any house chores, including cooking. After she married, Chen family had hired a housekeeper, so she didn't need to learn how to cook either. Now, with nobody to take care of her, she had an issue. Obviously, she wouldn't think about learning to cook now, right? She'd prefer to order takeout food, but that needs money, and she doesn't go to work.

Chen Feng wasn't giving her enough money for that kind of spending, so she wanted to take away some of Ding Mom's money. After all, Ding Mom was getting some money from Qiao Nan each month, and Qiao Zizi thought that her mother is already old, so she doesn't need it. Yeah, her logic coming out as always. Ding Mom already moved, so Qiao Zizi called Qiao Nan. They had an argument, and it ended up with MC telling her that from now on, it would be best if they treated each other as strangers, and that Zizi should not call her anymore, since she won't pick up anyway.

Chen Feng + Jiajia Arc:
Huahua's daughter, Jiajia (pretty sure that's just MTL, her real name should be diffrent), got into a college in the capital, so she moved together with Huahua to the capital, so the whole family was reunited.

I think there was a time skip somewhere in between, since Qiao Nan's children are already 5y old.

Chen Feng came to the capital to study as well. He's pretty diffrent from his mother, so when he came to the capital, he asked Qiao Nan to meet him and thanked her for all the care she showed towards him when he was growing up. After all, if not for her, and later his grandparents, he probably wouldn't be able to live through his childhood, since his parents are Qiao Zizi and Chen bastard ^.

Anyway, Qiao Nan talked with him for some time, told him to just be himself and not listen to other people's nonsense (Qiao Zizi). She also gave him her phone number, so that he can call her if he has some issues in the capital.

Later, he asked her about her kids. Chen Feng was truly curious about his little 'cousins', and since Qiao Nan could see that he was sincere when he asked about them, she showed him some of their photos/videos, and said that she wouldn't mind letting them meet in the future.

When he finally met the children, Jiajia (who btw. was a big sucker for the kids), was scared that his personality would be similar to his mother and he would treat the kids badly, so she came to the meeting as well.

I think here we get another time skip. Qiao Nan is already 50y old, Soaring is 55y old, while their kids are 10y old. Unfortunatly, but ML's parents died. The kid's grandmother just died, following after her husband who left 2y earlier.

On the 2nd day after ML's mother died, Qiao Nan got a phone call that Qiao Dad was dead as well. Also, as a funfact, I'll add it here: Chen bastard died 3 years ago.

Jiajia and Chen Feng just came back from studying abroad, so they split themselves between the funerals. Jiajia went to help Huahua and the rest of the family to prepare the funeral for ML's mother, while Chen Feng went over to help Qiao Nan with Qiao Dad's funeral.

Chen Feng and Jiajia turned out to be lovers. Before, thanks to their interactions with MC's kids, they were meeting more often, and slowly built some feelings for each other. Chen Feng was a pretty shy person, and was a little scared that he would mess up his friendship with Jiajia if he confessed and she rejected him, while Jiajia felt that the man should confess, so they ended up in a weird situation.

When they were picking college, they tactfuly picked up the same college abroad, and in the end even ended up renting a house together. Chen Feng was pretty popular with ladies, so quiet a few times some of them would confess to him.

Jiajia was slowly getting both tired and anoyed by this, so once she couldn't hold it anymore, and told the lady that was confessing, that Chen Feng was her boyfriend and they even lived together. From there on it went pretty smoothly, and now they are thinking about marriage.

Qiao Zizi, hearing that her son came back, wanted him to go and live in Pingcheng with her. He didn't approve of it, and his grandparents told him to stay in capital. Qiao Zizi got to know it, so she ended up asking him who's more important for him, her or the grandparents (suggesting that he should live in Pingcheng if he chooses her). Yeah, he didn't pick her. She was mad, but he just reminded her of who took care of him when he was younger, and that even if he has no feelings for her, he will still send her some money each month, so she doesn't need to be scared.

Later on, she had some ideas about moving to the capital and living with him, 'taking care of him', but he quickly kicked this idea out of her head.

Anyway, we've had another time skip. 4 years later (MC's kids are now 14y old), it's finally time for Jiajia's and Chen Feng's wedding.

Qiao Zizi was unhappy with her daughter-in-law. She was dreaming of having a weak minded daughter-in-law, that she could control and take advantage off. Jiajia, like her mother, was pretty fierce, so Zizi didn't like her, even more with her connection to Qiao Nan.

When Qiao Zizi arrived in the capital for Chen Feng's wedding, and saw his house, she wanted to convince him to dump Jiajia and live with him in that house. He told her that the house was paid 50/50 with Jiajia, and dragged her to an apartment he rented for her. If she wants to stay in capital, she can, but not with him.

During the wedding, Qiao Zizi tried to make some trouble for Qiao Nan, blaming her for Chen Feng's attidute towards her, but Qiao Nan pretty much ignored her, telling her that everything she does has its consequences.

Ending Arc:
And ladies and gentleman, we have another time skip. Qiao Nan is currently 65y old, Soaring is 70y old, while her children are already 25y old, from what I understood they are already out of college.

Chen Feng and Jiajia also have children now. Not sure about their gender, but their oldest is 7y old (Chen Peng), while the younger one is 4y old (Chen Xin).

This year, Soaring and Qiao Nan slowly left their house in the Capital, and moved back towards their ancestral home, so that they could spend the rest of their lifes in peace.

A year later, they've got a suprise visit from their children. Turns out they want to get married, all of them. Soaring was a little worried, since he didn't want them to force themselves to marry to fast for their sake, but they convinced him by saying that they were dating their counterparts for over 3 years now.

Well, Qiao Nan's daughter was. Her sons were dating for over 3 years, but not exactly staying with the same person for 3 years. Anyway, they took their time finding the right person, and in the end, they decided to get married at the same time, so that it wouldn't be to hard on their parents. They also decided to hold the wedding in the city that Qiao Nan and Soaring currently live in, so they wouldn't need to travel back and forth between capital and their home.

When Qiao Nan and Soaring later met their kids choosen ones, Soaring had a pretty good impression of his new daugter-in-laws and son-in-law. His only hope now is that the couples can have a good life, like he does with MC. Later on, their kids had their wedding and life continued.

And we have arrived at the end of the novel. Aside from that, there are some extra chapters, but I only skipped through them, so I'm not gonna write any spoilers for that. Anyway, there's a short story-like confession from Qiao Zizi, and a little longer, like 35 chapters long, story about ML's parents.

I didn't really have the time to read it recently, and wanted to try to finish it all before writing more spoilers, so yeah. Didn't work out for me, so the lack of spoilers. Anyway, I'm at 2450, so not much until the novel is finished.

Wang Yang Redemption Arc:
Wang Yang, for better or worse, slowly changes. He's staying further away from the Wang family, most importantly, from his father. From what I understood, once, the Wang family wasn't happy about the result of the court case, so they wanted to make some trouble for Qiao Nan.

Wang Yang somehow got to know this, and after thinking a little, he asked his wife, Li something, to send it to Qiao Nan. Li something was suprised, but in the end did send Wang family's plans to MC's phone.

Qiao Nan showed it to Soaring, who said that this should be Wang Yang's try to ask for forgiveness, so that MC and Soaring let him off. Anyway, from what I understood, the Wang family couldn't do anything to MC, since Soaring started making some trouble for them before that.

After that, I didn't see any mentions of Wang Yang or his family. Maybe in the further chapters, but there aren't many left.

Qiao Nan's Dream Arc:
Soaring knew that something was weird with Qiao Nan for some time now. She would sometimes know some things that she absolutely shoudn't, and for some people, she would have feelings that he couldn't find any reasons to have them.

He asked her about it before, but she wasn't ready. Now, that their life is slowly getting more stable, Qiao Nan finally ended up talking to Soaring about it. I don't remember why exactly now, but yeah.

Anyway, Qiao Nan and Soaring had a long talk during the night, where she talked the story about her life, from Qiao Zizi's divorce, need of surgery, car accident, everything that happened in the dream and after. I think Soaring took it pretty well, but I feel like overall he didn't react much, just comforted MC?

Ding Mom's Sickness Arc:
As mentioned before, Ding Mom didn't let Qiao Zizi inside her house last time, when Zizi came back from the capital. Qiao Zizi thought that Ding Mom would slowly turn milder towards her and accept her back, but a week passed by and she still lived in a hotel.

Because of that, Qiao Zizi wasn't happy, so when Ding Mom went out to buy some food, Qiao Zizi found herself a locksmith, who changed the locks (Since zizi had a registration of residence there, or something similar, that confirmed for him that she lived there).

When Ding Mom came back, the locks were already changed, and Qiao Zizi opened up the door to her. Ding Mom obviously wasn't happy, but its not like she can throw her out, can she?

She decided to simply ignore her, and cook dinner for herself. After she did that, Qiao Zizi turned out of her room and took it away. Ding Mom only bought enough food for herself, so like last time, Zizi ended up with all the food while Ding was hungry.

Because of that, Ding later on would eat/cook food when Zizi was not there, and would force herself to eat everything she bought, so that Qiao Zizi couldn't freeload off her. She would often over eat, and once, it ended up with a food poisoning.

Qiao Zizi found Ding Mom, but she knew that if she took her to the hospital, as her relative, she would need to pay her hospital fees. Because of that, she ended up calling a neighbor to take Ding Mom to hospital, so that the neighbor could also call Qiao Nan, and have her pay the fees.

Qiao Nan got the call in the middle of the night and talked about it with Soaring, who told her to just go back sleep and he'll take care of it. He found an old veteran that used to be under him in the army and was in Pingcheng, and asked him to hire a nurse.

When Ding Mom woke up, the nurse was already there. MC paid a lot of money, so the nurse was pretty happy. But yeah, it's Ding Mom, it's not like she's just gonna keep quiet. She could figure out why Qiao Zizi gave her 'away' to the neighbor, so she was really unhappy.

After all, she had a husband, 2 daughters and 4 grandkids, yet nobody was there to take care of her.

Ding Mom wanted one of her daughters to take care of her, but she knew that with Qiao Zizi's attitude and abilities, it wouldn't work. Because of that, she wanted Qiao Nan to drop everything and take care of her. She asked the nurse to call her, but I think the nurse couldn't even find MC's number on Ding Mom's phone.

It ended up with the nurse calling the veteran, who told her to just take care of Ding Mom, pretty much something along the lines that 'as long as she doesn't die, it's fine'.

Qiao Zizi later came to the hospital and visited Ding Mom. Not sure if Ding Mom was just having her stupid time again, or if Qiao Zizi instigated her again, but her attitude towards the nurse was really bad. The nurse had a pretty good reputation and could easily find work for herself, so she ended up leaving.

Ding Mom just ended up complaining about Qiao Nan again. The veteran responsible for hiring the nurse passed the information to ML + MC, so Qiao nan ended up calling Qiao Zizi. She offered her 10 000$ a month for taking care of Ding Mom. Qiao Zizi wanted to get more money, but Qiao Nan just told her that she can find another nurse, so she agreed. Ding Mom wasn't happy of course, since she knew that even if Qiao Zizi tried, she had no idea how to take care of a sick person, but yeah, now it's too late to regret...

Chen bastards ending Arc:
It was some time now since we last saw Chen bastard. As mentioned a few times already, he was a bastard, and enjoyed sleeping with a lot of woman. Seems like one of them was a little special, since he ended up with AIDS.

One day, Chen Father + Chen Mother came to Qiao Zizi, and decided to give her custody of Chen Feng (or something like that, her son). Chen bastard was already sick, so he couldn't really take care of the child, while the rest of Chen family was already pretty old, and they didn't have much strength, or time, to take care of him.

Good thing that Chen Feng was already old enough to understand some things, and knew that his mother was pretty bad. I'm not sure how old he's now, but there were some talks about him wanting to go to a college abroad (he didn't, because he felt that he should take care of his grandparents), so yeah.

Anyway, Chen Feng also received a house/apartment in Pingcheng (a little bigger then the one Qiao Zizi used to own) from his family, so once Qiao Zizi caught wind of it, she moved over there, leaving Ding Mom alone again.

Qiao Nan's use of the Inheritance/business Arc(?):
Didn't really know how to call this Arc, since it's pretty long, but yeah.

I think there must have been a timeskip again somewhere in between, because Qiao Nan's children are now at the age when they can start going to school.

Anyway, Qiao Nan already received the inheritance Zhu father left her. There's a lot of money and some business in it, so Qiao Nan was thinking what to do with it.

One of her ideas was to I think build some retirement / nursing houses for older people. I'm not sure if this is a business thats going to earn her money, but I think we all can understand why she would do this (Lin Master from her dream, Zhu father this life etc...). Thanks to her, a lot of old lonely man can get some help. Pretty sure author even wrote an example here, and old man that used to be in the military, and his only son was in the army as well. He was pretty lonely, but he felt happy knowing that there were still people remembering them after they left the military and got old.

Qiao Nan's other idea about how to use the money, was to donate / sponsor schools. Schools in bigger cities were fine, but the ones in poor areas barely could provide anything for children, so Qiao Nan wanted to donate money to them.

One of the schools that Qiao Nan wants to help, is in Pingcheng, in a mountain area. She wanted to go over and look around the school for herself before donating money, and Soaring wouldn't let her just leave alone, so she ended up taking the kids as well (since they would feel scared if they suddently didn't see her for a long time).

Soaring's mother wanted to go as well, but in the end they (ML's father as well) had to stay in the Capital. In this life, they are already old, so their bodies couldn't handle traveling so much, and if they got sick, the capital had a much better healthcare than Pingcheng, so yeah.

On the way to the mountains, Qiao Nan and her family went back to ML's house in Pingcheng. Huahua and her daughter, Jiajia, were currently living there. Jiajia was mostly at school, so she only went back home on weekends. One of the reasons was that Huahua liked it there and the capital had worse conditions when it came to smog and other stuff, but she also thought that her parents would come back to live there, since they're pretty old. For now, they didn't really want to leave Qiao Nan's kids, so they didn't come back. Not sure if they will in the future.

Anyway, since she was back, Qiao Nan decided to visit some of her old neighbors and thank them for taking care of Ding Mom (last time with the hospital). Once she did it, she turned towards Ding Mom's home. If I understood it properly, Ding Mom didn't want to open the door for Qiao Nan, so one of the neighbors invited Qiao Nan to their home. Ding Mom heard it, so she instantly came out and called Qiao Nan inside.

Ding Mom's relation with Qiao Nan was bad, so MC didn't really want to stay inside for too long. She just spoke a few words, gave her some stuff/gifts and wanted to leave.

Ding Mom was feeling pretty lonely recently. Qiao Dad left for a few years now, Qiao Zizi was living in Chen Feng's house, and her neighbors didn't want to talk to her, so her life was pretty sad. Because of that, she wanted to talk a little with Qiao Nan.

She ended up asking about Qiao Dad again, but Qiao Nan just told her that it's her father's decision, and if he doesn't want to come back, she can't help it. Anyway, before Qiao Dad left Ding Mom, they already had a pretty bad relationship, but the only thing he still talked about with her was MC's kids.

Thanks to that, Ding Mom could use that as a topic to talk a little. Later on, Ding Mom wanted to see the kids (she thought that since Qiao Dad liked them, if she could be close to them, maybe he would forgive her / talk with her again), but Qiao Nan didn't want to let her come near them. She knew about Ding Mom's temper, so in the end she just showed her some photos and videos of the kids before leaving.

Later on, Qiao Nan, Soaring and the kids moved to a house on the mountain. They had to sleep together, since the kids would be pretty scared. Qiao Nan's daughter ended up waking up in the middle of the night, scared (since it was dark and she heard some sounds from the mountains for the first time, like wind and animals), so MC had to comfort her and use a flashlight to let her see her.

Anyway, the next day, Qiao Nan took them and went to the school. I think it only had a single teacher, the kids barely even had some pens to write, and the food wasn't enough for them to grow. Qiao Nan ended up, with the help of Huahua and some of her friends, buying them some materials, winter clothes (for their family/grandparents as well), medicine, a bunch of children's school supplies and textbooks.

Qiao Zizi's return Arc:
Qiao Zizi's ideas slowly changed. Before, she was practically obsessed with the 5M from Wang Yang, but now she felt that going home is not bad either. I think it has something to do with Chen bastard and knowing why he approached Qiao Nan. Didn't really understand her logic here.

Anyway, Qiao Zizi went on to negotiate with Wang Yang. The date of the court's hearing was coming closer, so Qiao Zizi thought that she could negotiate for a better price. Wang Yang felt that she was too greedy, so nothing came out of it.

The next day, Qiao Zizi bought a bus ticket back to Pingcheng. Wang Yang thought that she was just trying to put pressure on him, so he ignored her. When she got on the bus and it left, he couldn't wait anymore and chased after the bus with a car. He stopped the bus and tried to convince Qiao Zizi to go back with him, but he didn't mention anything about money.

Qiao Zizi just told him that she'll help him for the 5M $ that he promissed her, but only if he pays upfront. Wang of course wouldn't agree, since even for his Wang family getting 5M right now would be hard. They argue a little, and he tells her to watch herself (in a threatening way) before leaving.

When Qiao Zizi got back home, she ended up coming to closed doors with changed locks. She tried to shout for Ding Mom, knowing that she's inside (She called her phone before, and heard it inside the house), but Ding didn't want to see her daughter, so after some time Zizi had no choice but to leave.

Something that I didn't mention before was, that Qiao Dad changed the locks to the house after Ding Mom went to the Capital last time (since he knew Zizi probably fakes her illness and told her not to go). He also called Qiao Nan and told her that he would like to live alone in a diffrent place without Ding Mom or Qiao Zizi. MC didn't like these 2, so of course she was happy about her dad's change and helped him to arrange it.

When Ding came back from the capital before (with the car organized by Qiao Nan), she came back to changed locks and didn't see Qiao Dad's shadow for some time. Thinking that maybe something happened, she wanted to find a locksmith to open the doors for her.

The locksmith couldn't just open any doors without reason, because that would make him a thief, so he wanted some documents from Ding Mom to confirm her ID and that she lives there. Qiao Zizi took them away before, so she had to go to the police station to get a temporary certificate.

When she finally got in, she didn't see Qiao Dad at all. Scared that something really happened to him, she called Qiao Nan and asked her about it. MC told her about her dad moving away, and some words he left for her. Ding wasn't happy, thinking that Qiao Nan shouldn't just help Qiao Dad, and they had a little argument. Ding Mom shouting things like 'I'm your mother, you were inside my stomach for 10 months, you should help me' etc... Qiao Nan just told her that from the 2 of them, she prefers her dad.

Anyway, Ding Mom wanted Qiao Nan to tell her Qiao Dad's new adress, so that she can move to live with him. Qiao Nan didn't agree, and told her that she can call Qiao Dad to ask about it the next day.

Ding Mom knew that Qiao Dad wouldn't agree, so she changed her idea and wanted Qiao Nan to rent a house for her next to the house of Qiao Dad, so that they would be 'neighbors'. Yeah, didn't work out as she wanted, and Qiao Nan just hung up on her.

That's also the reason why she didn't let Qiao Zizi come inside the house. She knew that a big part of the reason why Qiao Dad didn't want to see her was Qiao Zizi, and if not for her, she would still happily live with Qiao Dad. So, when she heard knocking on the doors, she was happy thinking that maybe Qiao Dad came back. When she heard Qiao ZIzi's voice, she was simply dejected and refused to acknowledge her presence.

I think Ding Mom also started to reflex on some things during that time, even thinking about how good her life would be if she treated Qiao Nan better (thinking that with Qiao Nan's abilities, if she went to college, she could easily earn a lot of money later and wouldn't be stingy with it like Zizi).

Wang Family Arc:
The date of the court hearing's was already here. Qiao Nan gave Soaring the power to represent her, and since Wang Yang didn't convince her to withdraw her claims to Zhu inheritance, Qiao Nan won and the Zhu inheritance was hers.

Wang Yang of course wasn't happy with that result, so she asked his lawyers to appeal again, trying to buy himself some time.

One day, when Qiao Nan was at school, she met Wang Yang's wife, Li something again. In the end, they ate together at the school cafeteria. Li something tried to convince Qiao Nan to give up, since she's not a relative of Zhu father and it should belong to Wang Yang. Anyway, MC got a little mad and said some bad things about him.

At that time, another lady came out and argued with MC. It was Zhu father's sister, Wang Yang's mother. She followed Li something, and when she heard Qiao Nan's words she came out, and started talking bullshit like Li something. Anyway, Qiao Nan got bored of these two and talked about Zhu kids death.

Qiao Nan thought that Wang Yang's mother would know the truth of Zhu kids death, but it turned out that neither of them knew. The Wang family tried to cover it up with all their resources back then, so Zhu sister never got to know about the fact that her son hired these thugs.

Qiao Nan went away after telling them this. Zhu Sister (Wang Yang's mother) was shocked and ended up fainting. Later on, when she was in the hospital, Wang Yang tried to lie to her, that Qiao Nan wasn't telling the truth, but his mother could tell immediately that he's lying, and just asked him to give up on Zhu's fortune, since he doesn't deserve it.

Wang Yang later on met with Qiao Nan, and wanted to ask her how she knew about Zhu kid's death, since he covered it up. Anyway, after their talk, Wang Yang decided to listen to his mother and withdrew his appelation to court.

Wang Yang's father dreamed of Zhu's fortune for a long time, so he wasn't happy, and ordered Wang Yang to keep fighting for it. They ended up having an argument with each other, but I think Wang Yang just felt that staying with his mother and wife was enough, and just ignored his old man.

I didn't have much time recently, so I'm reading at a pretty slow pace. Anyway, I think I've got like 200-300 chapters left.

Li Something Arc:
Wang Yang's wife, Li something, continued to try to become friends with MC. I don't think she actually went to the school that Qiao Nan was going to, Li smth just got herself Qiao Nan's school schedule and was coming during her free time.

Anyway, she talked a few times with MC, and once, when Qiao Nan had a pause between classes, they went to eat dinner together. Li smth was talking in a weird way, like mentioning that her husband was blocked by someone and stuff like that, without mentioning his name or anything, but Qiao Nan felt that it had something to do with her family.

She thought that maybe Li something's husband was somehow related to Huahua or Soaring, so she asked her mother-in-law is she knew who Li was. Since she didn't, she called Soaring, and when he heard Li's name, he told her that she's Wang Yang's wife. He was also scared that Wang would try something (since he did hire the thugs that killed Zhu kid), so ML got Qiao Nan 2 hidden bodyguards.

MC went shopping with Li once more after that. She already agreed before she knew who Li was, and with these bodyguards she wasn't scared. I don't think they had any more contact since then.

Qiao Zizi's fake ilness Arc:
As it was already mentioned before, Zizi was greedy for the 5M that Wang Yang promised her for help. Because of that, she went to the capital. However, prices in capital are high, and she also needed a chance to see Qiao Nan, so she tried to convince Ding Mom to come to her in the capital.

Ding Mom obviously didn't want to go there. Qiao Zizi got pretty mad, so it resulted in her pretending to be sick. She called Ding Mom, trying to sound sick, pretending that she's super hurting and will die or smth. She also waited for her phone to have low battery before calling, so that the call would end before Ding Mom could ask for any details.

Ding Mom was scared that something happened to her, so she called Qiao Nan for help. MC bought her a plane ticket and told her where to go, so that she could come to the capital and see Qiao Zizi. (Fun fact: Instead of being thankful, Ding Mom was thinking about how bad MC was for leting her be alone on a plane. Something about being unfilial, leting her mother fly for the first time, scared, without any help? Not sure what she expected really...)

Qiao Zizi already had a few fights with Ding Mom in recent time, so she was scared that Ding Mom would just leave if she wasn't sick. Because of that, she put on a wet dress and stood in wind, so that she would get a cold. She did get one, but she didn't know what to do when she was sick (Since at home, Ding Mom treated her almost as a princess, so when she was sick everyone would service her), so her cold turned into pneumonia, and she truly needed to go to a hospital.

Qiao Nan arranged it that when Ding Mom landed in capital, a person she sent would come, pick her up and take her to Zizi. Ding Mom arrived, and instantly called Qiao Nan's home's phone (Since she didn't have her private number). The person who answered was ML's mother, and Ding Mom was pretty disrespectful towards Qiao Nan. Because of that, Soaring's mom just hang up on her, and told the person who was supposed to pick Ding Mom up, to just give her a paper with Qiao Zizi's adress and leave.

Ding Mom would try to call Qiao Nan's home a few more times, but each time, someone would just pick up and end the call. Because Ding Mom was outside her province, she had to pay extra money each time she made a phone call, so in the end she used up all her money she had on her phone.

Anyway, that person gave her the adress and left. Ding had to take a taxi towards Zizi's home, so she had to pay over 200$ for that. Once she got there, she took Qiao Zizi to the hospital. She didn't have enough money to pay her bills, so she tried calling MC's house again, but I think you can guess what happened.

In the end, she picked Qiao Zizi's bankcard and withdrew 10 000$. Paid for her fees, and after Qiao Zizi woke up, she gave her the rest of the money, and told her that she wants to leave.

Qiao Zizi of course wasn't happy. She needed Ding to stay, so that she could contact Qiao Nan. Because of that, she took away Ding Mom's id card and money, so that she couldn't leave. Ding Mom slept in her rented room, and the next day called MC's house again. After a few times, Qiao Nan answered the phone.

Ding Mom was really sad this time, so she ended up crying over the phone, and it was the first time MC ever heard her cry. Anyway, she asked for help going back, and once MC knew it wasn't a scheme of Qiao Zizi again, she organized a car that would take her back. In a few hourse Ding Mom was already on her way back to Pingcheng.

Qiao Zizi tried to call her a few times, thinking that she's just mad and staying in her rented room. When Ding Mom was growing tired of it, she answered the phone and told her that she's leaving.

She knew that Ding Mom wouldn't just leave without Qiao Nan's help, so she called Qiao Nan to complain. MC got mad, so she just mentioned to her that she knows about her deal with Wang, about Wang's deal with Chen bastard, his wife, and hanged up.

Later on, Qiao Zizi wanted to confirm if what she heard about Chen was true, so she called Wang and told him what she heard. Because of that, Wang and his wife now know that MC already knew who Li something was.

Zhu Family's Inheritance Arc:
One day, Zhu family's lawyer turned out at Qiao Nan's home with the last will of Zhu father. Turned out that Zhu Father died in the middle of last night. Zhu father was an old fox, and even if he didn't know the truth behind Zhu kid's death, he could still tell that Wang Yang wasn't a saint, and that he was greedy for his family's fortune.

Since he said that he wanted to adopt Qiao Nan, he truly treated her as his daughter, so before he died, he made sure to write his testament and leave everything to MC. His lawyer was shocked back then, and even had to ask a few doctors to make sure if Zhu father was still sane. He was, so yeah. MC is Zhu father's inheritor.

This of course wasn't a good thing for Wang family. In the beginning, it was just Wang Yang dreaming about Zhu fortune, but after Zhu kid died, Wang father was hooked in as well. Now, knowing that they didn't get a dime, they for sure weren't happy.

Wang Yang decided to sue Qiao Nan and fight for the inheritance. After all, as he self claims, he was Zhu father's closest relative. Anyway, this whole fiasco didn't end yet, so I'm not sure what will happen in the court.

Wang Yang also wants to convince Qiao Nan to give up on it. He tried to meet with Soaring and talk to him, but was blocked before even getting close to him. After all, he wouldn't have enough power to get near him even when his Wang family was on its prime, much less now.

Thinking that Qiao Nan was just some low woman without knowing much, he wanted to convince her to give up the inheritance. Because of that, he even approached Qiao Zizi, and told her that if she convinced MC, he would pay her 5M $.

Qiao Zizi wasn't really successful on that, so Wang even asked his wife to try and comunicate with Qiao Nan. She couldn't get near her normally, so she even tried going to the same school as MC, but Qiao Nan felt that Wang's wife (without knowing that she was his wife) had a similar face to her, and felt that something was wrong with her, so she keeped her distance from her.

New Year Arc:
Once again, it's almost time for new year. I'm not really sure what happened here, maybe I missed a chapter somewhere, but Qiao Dad is already leaving. I think he did wait for the 30 day ceremony, maybe I just missed it.

Anyway, Qiao Zizi was not happy about it. The prices in capital were pretty big, so she couldn't just stay there, but at the same time she was greedy for the 5M that Wang Yang promised her if she convinces Qiao Nan.

Qiao Dad didn't listen to her, and Ding Mom didn't want to come (Since Zizi thought that if Ding came, she would get a house from Qiao Nan like Qiao Dad), so she had no choice but to try to convince Qiao Dad once more.

Qiao Dad was sick of her bullshit, so he just called MC for help. Soaring arranged a courier service for Qiao Dad, so that all of his stuff would be sent home, and then MC gave him money for plane tickets.

Yes, plane tickets. Qiao Dad had an argument with Zizi, and she somewhat dig a hole under herself, so it ended up that she had to go back to Pingcheng as well. Since she had to come as well, MC payed for both their tickets, since it was good for her to make Zizi get lost.

Anyway, once they were house, Qiao Dad's package came as well. He had some clothes that Qiao Nan bought for him, a single dress/other cloathing for Ding Mom, that MC bought for her (I think it was worth over 3000$, when the most pricy clothes that Zizi bought for Ding mom were like 300$?), and some things for his neighbors.

After his neighbors got their things (I think it were just some sweets from the Capital), Zizi was really mad. After all, even Ding mom got something from Qiao Nan, while she didn't.

Qiao Zizi had a reunion planned with her college/school classmates a month later, so she wanted to get an expensive dress for it. Now that Qiao Nan sent her parents clothes, she felt that she should also get something, after all, she didn't want to use her own money to buy a new dress.

Anyway, she made some drama as usually, even persuaded Ding mom to call Qiao Nan and tell her to send something to her. Qiao Nan hang up on them before Ding Mom finished talking, so yeah.

Zizi wanted her mom to send the dress back (Didn't get the reason here, but something stupid), but her mom knew that Zizi isn't really super filial after the last time, so she didn't want to lose her own dress, so she simply ignored her and the 2 of them had an argument again.

Qiao Nan gives birth Arc:
When Qiao Nan was ~ 7,5m in her pregnancy, she was moved to the hospital. In this lifetime, she's truly pretty old for being pregnant, so it's best to move to the hospital in advance to prevent miscarriage or any other dangerous situations.

Qiao Nan called Qiao Dad and told him about it. Even through she told him not to worry, he couldn't really do it and wanted to go to the capital and look out for her. Unfortunatly, Ding Mom and Qiao Zizi heard him, so yeah... Qiao Zizi wanted to go to the capital alone to pretend being a good relative and be there when MC 'dies'.

Anyway, Qiao Dad went to a bus station and bought himself a ticket for the next day. Unfortunatly, this didn't work out for him, since he lost his ID card (yeah, lost, meaning Ding Mom took it away). He needed to go to the police station, and even then the fastest he could get a new id would be 3 days for a temporary one.

3 days later, when he had a new temporary ID, he once again bought a ticket for the next day. Next day, he overslept. Yeah, Ding Mom fed him some pills, I don't think I need to say more. Also, on this day Zizi went by herself to the capital. Ding Mom lied to Qiao Dad that Zizi just went somewhere for travel for some vacations.

Feeling that something was wrong, he didn't dare to drink or eat anything from Ding Mom. He also bought 2 tickets. So, once Ding Mom tought that Qiao Dad was asleep because of her pills, she went to his room and stole his bus ticket. In the morning, when Qiao Dad was leaving, she called Qiao Zizi who was in the capital and told her that. Qiao Zizi was scared that he could get a new ticket for today's bus, so she bought all 18 left tickets for a lot of money.

Well, Qiao Dad already had his 2nd ticket, so he made it to the capital. When he got there, ML's family gave him a nice, cosy house to temporary live in, and Qiao Dad started going to the hospital and taking care of Qiao Nan. Also, he learned that Zizi was in the capital (From ML's family, since Zizi already tried to go to MC in the hospital, but was blocked outside).

Some time later, once, when Qiao Dad was going to visit Qiao Nan in the hospital, she was waiting on it's exit for him, so that she could go inside with him. Qiao Dad didn't know what to do, so she ended up sneaking in and trying to seduce ML during her visit.

Later, when Qiao Dad was doing some chicken porridge (or other soup), the chicken in it was bought/given to him by Qiao Zizi. When MC heard that, she felt pretty bad. No idea if just because of her emotions, or because Zizi did something to it. Anyway, if I understood it properly, later that day she went into labor.

This time, she directly had a Caesarean section, since giving birth in a normal way would be dangerous. The kids were alright, but Qiao Nan's condition wasn't perfect, so the doctor told them that as long as she wakes up the next day and feels good, she'll be fine.

The next day, Qiao Zizi got to know that MC gave birth. She rushed to the hospital and talked with a nurse, and before the nurse finished talking, she misunderstood her and thought that Qiao Nan is dying. She rushed to her room, and started all her bullshit talking about how she can take care of her kids and ML etc.. Qiao Nan couldn't really kick her out, and looked really bad, because that stupid sister of her was pushing the place where she had her C section, so it hurt as hell and started bleeding again.

When she left the room, she saw Qiao Dad + ML's parents that came to visit MC, so they were shocked hearing about MC's condition (Since Soaring was by Qiao Nan in the morning, and called them to tell that everything was fine). When they went to MC, everything was cleared out, and when Zizi came to the room later with her fake tears, they kicked her out.

Because of that, MC wasn't happy and was kind of indiffrent to Qiao Dad. MC's dad knew that it was his fault, so he decided to leave and go back to Pingcheng, so that Zizi can't stay (she forced herself into the house he's got) and make trouble for MC.

Qiao Zizi managed to convince him to stay until the kids 100 day party (or smth like that). Anyway, MC went with her kids back home and everything is fine for now, the family is happy for it's new addition. (Oh, and not sure if I mentioned it before, but like in last life, she again had 2 boys and 1 girl).

We're slowly getting closer to the book's end. I'm currently at ~ 2150 chapters in. 350 more to go!

Qiao Nan's wedding Arc:
After Qiao Nan and Soaring took their wedding photos, Soaring directly took MC to a civil affairs bureu to register for their marriage (since the report he sent over 2m ago was approved). Once they did that, as in last life, ML quickly snatched the red books for protection, and then they went home.

Once they got home, ML's parents were there. Before they even met Qiao Nan for the 1st time, they already went to buy gifts, so now that they're married, Qiao Nan recieved them (A highly priced bracelet and a watch).

Soon after that, it was time for their wedding. Once again, Qiao Nan had a problem choosing from which house should she marry. Zhu father got the news somewhere, and once again, as in the dream, Qiao Nan married from the Zhu house.

Wang cousin or w/e was his name wasn't happy, but he could only make sure that his wife doesn't come out till the end of the wedding and grumble to himself (The thing with his wife was, that after Zhu father wanted to adopt MC, Wang found himself a wife that looked similar to MC, so he was scared that someone would notice it...)

It was also during this time, that Soaring once again noticed that MC sometimes has moments when she feels like she knows more than she should. He told her that he'd wait for her to open up, but yeah. This time, MC only told him the truth about how Chen bastard came into her life, how he was a dog of Wang etc... (So yeah, Wang is on Soaring's blacklist).

Also, Shi/Shu Qing appeared for the first time in real life. Turns out her life is not as bad as I would imagine, Feng family wanted to fck her up this lifetime too, but when they tried to sell her off in a marriage, she followed her father's step and run into the military. Fast forward a few years, and she's a female general (I'm sure my MTL said general, but it might be a diffrent high position), with more power than Feng family.

She was also in love / still having a crush on ML, but once she saw their wedding, I think she gave up. Also, once she was getting to the ceremony, pretty sure she saw Ding Mom and Qiao Zizi trying to force themselves into the military district and make trouble, so she kicked them out to a police station.

Something that I might mention as a fun fact: Once again, Soaring behaves like a hungry dog. Qiao Nan almost couldn't believe that he didn't touch Qiu crazy girl before, because he was so crazy in bed.

Ding Mom + Qiao Zizi Arc:
I think I missed some chapters here, and then got kind of lost in the MTL, so it would be great if @rdawv could explain this one. Things I've got were: Qiao Zizi wanted to become a Civil Servant, because the pay was pretty nice etc.. Well, she failed, and on the exam she left most of the test empty. I think she even called MC once to ask for help, but before she finished talking, Qiao Nan already hang up on her?

Some other things I saw in the MTL was 100 000$ being mentioned, and some drama with a neighbor? But I'm not really sure what went on here.

Then, we've got drama with Ding Mom, that I think @rdawv mentioned before? Anyway, Ding Mom was convinced by Zizi to take Qiao Nan to court, since she was not paying her any money since she left.

Ding mom listened to her and did take her to court, only to lose misserably, since MC was sending money every month, just that she was sending it to Qiao Dad. And if they share it? That's not her problem.

Ding Mom was mad, so she went and asked Qiao Dad about it. He told her, that she was taking money from MC for years and he never saw any of it, so now, he's gonna collect MC's money. If Ding Mom wants some money, she should ask her lovely older daughter, who should probably pay her more than Qiao Nan, since she even finished a good college, right?

Yeah, it ended up with Ding Mom and Qiao Zizi fighting for some time. There was even a point when Ding Mom would want to use 1000s $ a day for takeout, just because she didn't want to cook and clean up after the dishes. Qiao Zizi didn't want to use any of her money of her mom, she yeah...

Qiao Nan's pregnancy Arc:
Once again, Qiao Nan is pregnant! ML is a dog, so what do you expect...

MC has been trying to catch up with her studies recently. Obviously, it wasn't real to go to college or anything, but she did go to some private schooling institution or something like that, and got a grade 6 English certificate? Anyway, because that took her time, she didn't notice that her Aunt didn't visit her for over 2 months now.

Once, when she was home, she looked pretty bad, and they somehow turned to the idea of her being pregnant, once they knew about her not having her menstruation for that long. Soaring wanted to suprise her, so he came home unannounced. Once he saw her, she fainted, so they took her to the hospital and it was confirmed that she's pregnant.

Some time later, when Qiao Nan was I think 4-5m into the pregnancy, she had a check at the hospital, and it turned out that she's once again pregnant with triplets.

Also, somewhere in between there MC had a talk about Zhu father with ML. She talked with him about the adoption thing, and it seems like Zhu father was silently helping her and protecting her from the shadows. Zhu father was also in the hospital, and it looks like he only has a few months left, but nothing much here aside from some mentions.

Even through MC is not super happy about her family, she still contacts her father. Once he knew that she has triplets, he went ahead and bought some kids clothes and sent it to her.

Once Qiao Nan got the package, and they opened it, it turned out that it had 2 types of clothes: comfotable to wear kids clothes from Qiao Dad, and pretty, shining kids clothes from Qiao Zizi, that kid's wouldn't like. Yeah, they sent Qiao Zizi's clothes back.

Why did Qiao Zizi even sent them? Somehow, she started dreaming of becoming Soaring's wife. It's pretty dangerous for an older woman to be pregnant, even more with triplets, so Qiao Zizi already thinks that MC will die during birth, so she would like to stay near MC's family, 'take care of the kids' and hook up with Soaring.

Yeah, she's stupid as hell. Not to mention, the clothes she sent to make a good impression, only made everyone think badly about her, since even MC that didn't give birth yet (they think so, not knowing her dream) knows that these clothes won't be nice for kids, while Qiao Zizi who has a son, didn't know that.

Qiao Zizi's surgery Arc:
Qiao Zizi needed a kidney, and they couldn't wait anymore. Since Qiao Nan wasn't there, their only option was to use a kidney provided by the hospital, but that would increase the amount of money they needed.

Ding mom and Qiao Zizi wanted to get the kidney from Qiao Nan, along with her money, so that they wouldn't need to pay. Qiao Dad got really mad, and told them that either Qiao Zizi will sell her house and pay for the surgery, or she can wait and slowly die.

Ding mom felt that it was necessary, but greedy Zizi of course wouldn't want to do that! After all, that house was payed by Qiao Nan, where would she get a 2nd one? So, she wanted to sell her family's home (Which, suprise suprise, was sold before to pay dowry for Qiao Zizi, and Qiao Nan bought it back). The dad got really mad, so he sent the house certificate to Qiao Nan.

Qiao Nan wasn't happy about that, but I'm not sure if she keeped it at the end. After all, this certificate is just trouble. Once Ding Mom or Zizi get to know that she has it, they would just try to make trouble for her and get it back. Also, Qiao Dad asked her to let Ding Mom live in that house till she dies, so he was trying to force MC to take care of her until she dies... Yeah...

At the end, Zizi had to sell her house for 2M $. 400 000 was used for her surgery, and the rest was taken by her, and she doesn't want to give any of it to her parents.

Also, I'm not sure when it was, but previously, Chen bastard called their house and told them where Qiao Nan lives (after MC kicked him out). However, last time, Qiao Dad answered the phone, so Ding mom didn't know it. Chen bastard felt it was weird that they didn't make any trouble for Qiao Nan, so he called again and this time they got to know. MC already moved from that house, so they couldn't do anything.

Wei De scumbag Arc:
Wei De's divorce has been ongoing for a few months now. He couldn't really convince his daughter to help him (since he always treated Wei Wei as his child, while he neglected his daughter), so she just ignored him.

On the day when the court was supposed to meet again, for the last time, Wei De felt that he had his last chance. He went on one of the building's roof, and pretended that he's gonna jump, while his mom was talking bullshit, making it seem as if their family was being forced to death by Huahua, without any reason.

Huahua was really mad, so she went ahead and in front of a large group of onlookers, pointed out things Wei De did (double marriage, father of Wei Wei, cheating etc...). Since he knew this didn't work, he waited for the fire brigade to come and spread a big airbag to catch him, and then jumped to show that 'he regrets what he did and Huahua should forgive him'. Yeah, she didn't.

Oh, and he broke his leg. Usually, nothing should happen to him, but in this life, after he was promoted in the military, instead of working hard and keeping his body in form, he was feeling on cloud 9, and just going around pretentiously about how he was a great commander. So once he jumped from the roof, his body was in a bad condition, and he couldn't land properly.

Huahua paid for his medical bills once last time, saying that she just lend the money in the name of her daughter, and that he should stay away from them. The court divorced them, so yeah.

Wei family's house was bought with Huahua's money from what I understood, so I'm not sure what went on here. Maybe @rdawv can explain it. Because from what I thought, since it was bought from her, it should go back to her, right? But then, the house was under the name of his 2nd wife, and she kicked out his family? Not sure what went on here, maybe I misunderstood something.

Anyway, Wei bastard was running out of money, and he felt really depressed. Not sure how it ended up on this, but he hit his own daughter with a car. ML's family was really mad, but thankfully nothing much happened to her. Qiao Nan suggested to them, to use this as an opportunity to take away Wei bastards rights over his daughter, and forbid him to get close to her.

Qiao Nan's marriage Arc:
Qiao Nan has been seing ML for some time now. Slowly, they were geting closer to each other, and MC even asked her to marry him. She was a little scared of it, since in this life she didn't even finish junior high school, and the diffrence between her and ML was huge, but he convinced her in the end.

Qiu crazy girl wasn't happy about that. She was still dreaming of geting together with Soaring, so she even visited Qiao Nan before (when she didn't know MC was with ML), in hopes that she could help her get back together with him.

Once Qiao Nan and ML's wedding was confirmed, Qiu girl told her mother that she really wants to have kids, more specifically ML's kids. So, her mom went to Qiao Nan's house, and since Qiao Nan didn't want to talk to her, she called ML and they all talked together.

Qiu girls mother's idea was, that she wanted to have Qiu girl back as an official wife of ML, and in exchange she would allow MC to give birth to ML's kid, so that Qiu girl could take care of it later.

Not sure if I explained it before, but Qiu crazy girl was sleeping around, and because she had to get an abortion/s before, she can't have kids anymore. So thats why this idea came out of them.

Qiao Nan told her to kind of piss off, since she and ML were in love, and she could be his official wife without even looking at Qiu girl. Qiu mom was mad, and told her that if she wanted, she can take care of a lowly person as Qiao Nan in a second.

ML was already mad at Qiu family, so he made some trouble for them before. So, once he heard what she said, he just went ahead and told her to take care of herself, since probably right now her husband should be arrested.

Later on, Qiao Dad somehow ended up in a hospital and needed a surgery. Qiao Zizi had over 1,6M $ on her account, but as I said before, she felt that this was her money and she didn't want to use it on her own dad, so they called MC, thinking of her as a mobile bank for them.

Qiao Nan came together with Soaring, paid for his surgery, and once it was done, she had a fight with Ding mom and Zizi. She didn't want to stay there any longer, so she left with Soaring and went with him to take their weeding photos, since they had some free time.

WhenButterFlies No problem. I'm reading it anyway, so writing these spoilers doesn't take a lot of time.

Scumbag Wei's retribution + Back to Pingcheng Arc:
Qiao Nan is slowly starting to believe that her dream wasn't only her imagination. Once that hit her, she began to realise that a lot of people that were dear to her didn't get help in time.

She went back to Pingcheng in search for Zhu kid. Once there, it truly hit here that Zhu kid in this lifetime died, since she couldn't get him help in time. Once she was in front of his grave, she promised him that she would help him get back on Wang Yan. I think that Zhu kid's father was also there at that time and saw her, but they didn't talk with each other.

Also, MC started thinking about Shu girl. Since she wasn't there for her, and Zhu kid who was her husband is dead, it is very probable that Shu girl was forced to marry someone she didn't like in this lifetime, perhaps even dead.

Some time after that, there was news from Pingcheng. Huahua ended up on a police station, after trying to kill Wei bastard. Unfortunatly, or maybe luckily, she didn't manage to kill him, he just ended up in the hospital.

Qiao Nan already knew that Wei Wei was his son, so last time, when Huahua and her daughter came to the ancestral house, Qiao Nan talked to her about Wei De. She explained a little about how she thought that Wei Wei and Wei De looked similar, and some inconsistencies in their story about how Wei Wei's mother is just an adopted relative.

Huahua agreed to make a DNA test between them, but even before that, when she went back to Wei family's house, she caught Wei De and his other wife in the bed. That's why she was so mad that she tried to kill him.

After her family knew she was in the police station, they all went there. When they were there, they've got a call from Qiao Nan that Huahua's daughter came to her, scared (since she was there as well when it all happened). MC took her to them in Pingcheng.

Later on, Soaring somehow convinced her to stay with them. Since Huahua's daughter had no clothes, they went to buy some for her, and in the end Qiao Nan somehow ended up getting 3 expensive sets of clothes as well, as a gift from ML's mother.

That night, she was arranged to sleep in the room, which in her dream became the room of her children, so she was pretty sad. The bed in that room was old and turned out broken, so ML's mother had he sleep in Soaring's room, while ML would sleep on a couch in the living room.

Next day, Wei De finally started to look for his daughter (He didn't know that she went to find Qiao Nan alone). It took him over a day to start his search, because before he didn't know that he needs her in case of a divorce. Now, they hired a lawyer, and when he heard their circumstances, he directly told them that if his daughter doesn't stay with them, they can prepare themselves to lose everything.

Wei wanted to find Huahua (no idea if he thought that maybe Huahua is with her daughter, or if he thought that maybe she would forgive him if she was thinking about searching for the daughter), but was turned away by soldiers on the gate. He tried calling Huahua, but she only told him that she wants to get a divorce.

Also, with Qiao Nan's help, they started to get worried that Wei De would look for his daughter in her school and make trouble, so they directly wanted Huahua's daughter to change schools (She went to a school called middle school in my MTL, it's the school where Qiao Zizi went to, now she will change her school to Pingcheng school, the school where Qiao Nan went in her dream).

At the same time, Qiao Nan wanted to leave Pingcheng and go back ot her new home, because she was scared that Qiao family would know that she's back and make trouble. Soaring's family kept coming up with excuses to have her stay longer, so on the 3rd day, there was already one Qiao family member sneaking around Soaring's house.

Good thing that it was Qiao Dad. He's still a stupid person for me, but at least he didn't tell his wife that Qiao Nan was back, and only went there to check if Qiao Nan lives a good life.

New Year Arc:
I think it's already time for new year, or some other holiday when families gather. I think it's new year imo. Anyway, since Soaring's parents are already there, Huahua wanted to take her daughter to spend the holidays together with them.

Wei bastard as always wanted to go as well. Even tho in this lifetime he's still in the military, I think he didn't get a high position as one would expect from Soaring's brother-in-law. I think he's a commander of a small unit or smth like that? Anyway, Soaring's family doesn't really approve of him.

When they came to the ancestral house, the first thing ML's mother tried to do was to kick him out, telling him that she can't take the fault of stealing some else's son (since Huahua's mother-in-law is a piece of work).

Wei bastard managed to stay, but once again he turned his eyes towards Qiao Nan, just like in her dream. He was displeased that ML's family treat MC better than him, and would love nothing more than having them chase Qiao Nan away.

At that time, Qiao Nan still didn't know about ML + His family's thoughts. When she first came to Soaring after waking up, she was working as a housekeeper, so now that she's freeloading, she wanted to at least help her out since she had some free time. Wei bastard saw it, and mocked her that she's not on the same level as them (meaning himself + ML's family, funny right?)...

Anyway, he thinks that she's the same type of person as he is, so he wanted to give her some benefits, aka money, to make her go away. Qiao Nan wasn't happy, and told him to first look at his own family and its state. After all, before he married Huahua, his family was just a small rural family. Even now, after getting married, his family still is far away from ML's family's level.

Wei De with his complexes was really mad, and even wanted to hit Qiao Nan. Xiao Yu/Xu was walking by, so he stopped him. Bastard Wei was fuming in anger, and even scolded him that if he wants, he can kick him out the next day, so Xiao Yu shouldn't interfere in things that aren't concerning him. Soaring was also passing by, so he directly scolded Bastard Wei, and told him to piss off.

Wei asked him why he doesn't give him any face in front of an outsider, but Soaring just told him that he never accepted him as his brother-in-law. He also told him, that Huahua and her daughter will stay with them longer. No need to go back with Wei.

Wei De wasn't happy. Aside from the fact that Soaring doesn't accept him, before meeting Qiao Nan, ML didn't want to get re-married. Since he has no children, Wei was dreaming of having his kid take over Soaring's family. Now that there's a chance for ML to have his own kids, Wei is scared that his plans won't go through. (Fun fact: Bastard Wei was dreaming of having Soaring cultivate Wei Wei as the next head, in the name of him being his 'nephew')

Scum Chen Arc:
As the arc title suggests, Scum Chen has his crazy ideas again! Since he's now divorced with Qiao Zizi, he wants to find himself a new wife. And what better choice to make than Qiao Nan?

Qiao Nan in this life was pretty meak, so she was taking care of Zizi's son a lot of time, helping him with his studies etc.. So yeah, the kid liked her and wouldn't mind changing her title from big sister to mom. Anyway, Chen family has also something broken in their heads.

Their idea was to take Qiao Nan with them to another city, and once they settle down there, they would let her slowly get married with Chen bastard.

Chen bastard went to find her, but found out that Qiao Nan already moved away. His family has some power in Pingcheng, so he quickly found out that MC left, and went to another city. He checked where her new house is, and went there to convince her to marry him.

Qiao Nan was not happy, directly telling him to buzz off. She even talked with his father on the phone. Chen bastard was not happy, got angry and wanted to knock down her home's door.

MC was pretty scared of him, so she tried to call Xiao Yu (The landlord's son who is a soldier). Xiao Yu at that time was together with Soaring, so when he heard that she needs help, Soaring quickly got rid of his wheelchair and went with him to help her. They took care of bastard Chen and kicked him out.

Living with Soaring Arc:
The issue here was, that bastard Chen kind of broke the door. MC wouldn't feel safe living there, so the door needed to be replaced. I'm not sure if I understood this part correctly, but I think Soaring gave Xiao Yu a hint to drag it out, so that she needs to live elsewhere for some time (over a month), and then recommend his own house.

Qiao Nan didn't really want to agree (since in this life she's an unmarried girl and ML's an divorced man), but in the end they somehow convinced her.

Once they made it to Soaring's house, his parents were already there. They've talked with Soaring on the phone previously, so they couldn't wait and directly came to their ancestral house to take a look at the girl.

ML's mother was super enthusiastic when she saw MC, dragging her around to pick a girl, talking stuff like 'Don't be shy, everyone will be family in the future' etc.. Yeah, Qiao Nan was really confused.

I'll add this here, because why not? HuaHua in this life married Wei bastard. Her family didn't aprove of him, but since Qiao Nan was not there to guide HuaHua, she still married him in the end. She regrets it now, but her pride doesn't allow her to talk about it with her family.

Wei Bastard's family (mostly his mother) is not really nice to her either. From what I understood, in this lifetime she didn't know that Wei Wei is Scum Wei's son, and she had a daughter with him.

And that's how far into the novel I am for now. Once I read some more, I'll probably upload more spoilers both here and on NU. Also, on NU we have some discussion with other people that MTL'ed the novel, so it might contain more informations!

New House Arc:
After Qiao Nan left Pingcheng, she went to another city, that she knew from her dream. From what I understand, ML's family's ancestral house was in that city, so MC lived there for some time and saw that the city was pretty nice, so she decided to move there.

Once she got there, she found herself a house to rent and found herself a new job as a translator.

As for her family, Ding Mom as usually is not happy. She's been running around like a headless chicken, trying to find where MC went. After all, she still wants the money that Qiao Nan got as a recompensation for the car accident + her sister needs her kidney.

Since they couldn't find her or contact her, Ding Mom went on TV crying out loud how her oldest daughter needs a surgery and how she needs help from the missing younger daughter, so that people can help her find her. Fortunatly for MC, her family didn't take any photos of her since she was in Junior high school, so they couldn't take it out.

They also talked shit about Zizi's ex husband and talked about how he was poor and couldn't take out this money. Her husband in this life was Scumbag Chen, whose family managed to rise up with the help of Wang Yang. Because of that, these kind of news are really shameful for them. It made them mad to the point, when they didn't even want to look at Zizi's son that was living with them, since his face reminded them of Qiao Zizi.

Qiao Zizi and her mom wanted to use the TV program to get donations to earn themselves some money. MC saw it, so she directly sent a message to the TV station with the informations about Qiao family's situation (pretty much how they have 2 houses, enough money etc...), so it ended up with the reporters confronting Ding Mom and Qiao Zizi with questions about that, and the money won't be given to them.

Meeting ML again Arc:
Turns out Qiao Nan's new landlord has a son. Her son is currently in the army, right under Soaring. From what I understood, Soaring was temporary staying there and since he was recuperating, they needed to find someone to take care of the household.

Since MC was from the same town as them, her landlord thought about her and asked her to take the job until they find someone else.

MC didn't know who she would take care of, so soon the met. MC remembering her dream, ML just remembering her as a little kid from the time he lived in Pingcheng.

From what I got in the MTL, I think ML was married with Qiu crazy girl for some time under his parents pressuring, but divorced her after some time and didn't look at any other woman since then.

Also, it seems that in this life, Soaring's body's condition is a little worse. When he was younger, he was shot on his leg. While he can still move, he's not in perfect condition. When Qiao Nan saw him, he was using a wheelchair.

She did her job for a few days, staying near him, before the landlord's son brought another person that would take care of this job. MC also wanted to keep distance from ML, so the handover was pretty fast.

Previously, when MC got to the new town, she found herself a psychiatrist to help with her condition and the dream she had. According to the psychiatrist, when MC was in the coma, her mind subconciously created an imagination of a life that she wanted to have, from the things that MC saw in her life, but maybe didn't remember.

However, now that she was taking care of Soaring, she subconciously followed her memories and did everything like in the dream. She even made some dishes that Soaring only liked to eat when she made it so in the dream, and suprise suprise, he likes it in this life as well. Because of that, MC was scared that if she stayed close to him for a long time, she would get lost and wouldn't be able to tell her real life apart from the dream.

After Qiao Nan left, Soaring was somewhat interested in her, so he asked one of his subordinates (I think it's the same person, who in her dream became the new husband of Xu friend) to get information about MC's life. After all, MC was in his ancestral house for the first time, but without asking anyone, she knew where was each room etc, so ML thought that maybe his house's design plan was leaked out somehow.

Also, Soaring slowly is noticing that he feels good spending time with Qiao Nan. He even starts to think that perhaps if his 2nd marriage was with Qiao Nan, he wouldn't reject it. He even went ahead and called his parents, and asked them that if he wanted to marry again, if they could accept anyone who he picks. Since he was alone for a long time, even through they were worried, they still told him that as long as he's happy anyone is okay.

Waking up Arc:
So, let's continue. Qiao Nan went to sleep in the arms of Soaring, after talking to him that she felt as if her life was not real. When she woke up, turns out she's on a hospital bed.

A nurse was in her room at that time, so she was told that she was in the car accident, had surgery and then for some weird reason remained in coma for 3 days.

When MC knew that everything she went through was just a dream in her imagination, she couldn't help but cry.

The person that hit MC felt that he was wrong, so he wanted to compensate MC. Ding Mom as usually was greedy, so when MC was in a coma, she tried to scam him for a big amount of money. When Qiao Nan got to know this, she directly called that guy and told him that they can settle it in private, he just needs to compensate her 300k and get it done.

Afterwards, when she got better, she waited for a time when Qiao Dad was at work and made her way out of the hospital, together with the man who hit her. They went to the police station, took care of formalities, she has gotten her 300k $, and then just went ahead and stopped renting her house and resigned from her job at a factory.

She bought a bus ticket and just left Pingcheng, leaving behind her sad memories.

The next day, when Qiao Dad was bringing food for her, he saw that her ward was empty. After asking at the reception, he learned that she already left. Thinking that perhaps she didn't want to bother them, for the first time in his life he decided to go to MC's house. What he came to see, however, was something that he couldn't forget.

Qiao Nan's landlord liked her, so he took Qiao Dad to see in what kind of conditions MC lived for 10 years under him. Her 'house' was just a small room, under the stairs, that I think even had a broken wall for some time.

Qiao Dad always knew that Ding Mom took some money from MC and gave it to Zizi, but he deluded himself to think that at the very least she had enough to live a decent life. Now, seeing the truth, he was pretty broken.

I think there's been another time skip.

College Again Arc:
The 3 kids are now at the age when they start going to college. From what I understood, her daughter wanted to be a soldier, but gave up on that and decided to go to the same college that MC went to before.

Her two brothers on the other hand, if I remember correctly, went to something called 'NUS' in my MTL. From what I remember, it's the same college where Zhu kid and Shu girl went before, somewhat related to military...?

Anyway, on the first day of college, Qiao Nan wanted to send all her kids to their schools. However, she still calls them their nicknames (Dabao, Erbao and Sambao), which could be pretty embarassing for a college student, and being sent by their mother didn't feel well with them, so Dabao and Erbao went by themselves (Dabao has a driving license), while MC just drove Sabao to her college.

Oh, and as a fun fact, it says in the novel that Soaring, in the previous years, took the kids and during their vacations threw them into the military for some training. Oh, and MC should be 40y old now, ML 45y old.

Marriage of Xu Arc:
There's also a small arc on the Xu friend (the one from college, not the bastard from foreign ministry). Long story short, turns out that her ex husband that she divorced is not really happy with his life. After all, before they were divorced, he has a pretty nice house and a good amount of money to spend each month thanks to Xu.

After they devorced, he had to find himself a new house, and the money he had from his salary wasn't much. With his new kid, it was really pretty hard to live. Also, after a few months when the kid was born, I think his new wife leaved him (divorce again).

So now, he was thinking of jumping back on Xu's ship. Unfortunatly for him, Xu already found herself a new man, and it seems like her daughter likes him as well. Once, when Xu's ex husband asked her to meet him, her new bf showed up instead of her.

He thanked him for getting divorced with Xu back then and gave him a wedding invitation. Also, he showed him some photos of his 2nd ex-wife, the kid and the kid's father (Yeah, turns out it wasn't his kid, and when the kid's father took her back, she divorced him).

Also, I'm pretty sure that Qiao Nan and Soaring played a little matchmaking. From what I understood, Xu's new boyfriend was in military before, and because of an accident, it's highly possible that he can't have kids anymore, so Xu's daughter should be their only child.

Anyway, the ex husband of Xu went to find their daughter, since he still wanted to get back with her. When he met with his daughter for the first time in years, rather than thinking about being sorry for her, all he did was talking shit about her mother and her new father, about how he would never be as good as a blood father etc...

Yeah, his daughter wasn't happy about his bullshit. After all, when Xu met her new bf, she wasn't so sure about being together with him. It was the daughter that told her that she shouldn't give up on herself and have regrets in the future, pushing her towards the new guy.

Qiao Dad confusion Arc:
After Qiao Zizi's death, MC's father once again went back to his stupid ideas.

His old thinking process kicked in, with thoughts like 'I was a bad father for Zizi, what can I still do for her as a father' etc.., while selectively forgeting about what really hapened before, and MC in general.

The day of Zizi's funeral, her ex-husband was having a wedding with his ex-gf. Zizi's daughter didn't go to the funeral, so Qiao dad thinks that the Zhou (ex husband's family) family is bad and they do it on purpose, so as a good dad he should 'take care of it'. But then again, he has no real power or anything that he could do, so he has to turn to Qiao Nan.

Just after all she went through because of her sister, Qiao Dad would like ot have MC teach a lesson to the Zhou family. Yeah, his attidute and thinking process towards MC wasn't really good. Inside his little head, he even blamed MC a little, since Qiao Zizi was able to marry into the Zhou family only because of MC.

When he was speaking to her, not sure where they were, maybe at the funeral's place, Soaring took the kids to pick her up. He let the kids go ahead while he went to park the car, so the kids kind of heard Qiao Dad talking to their mom in a bad way, and weren't happy. From what I understood, they gave up on this 'grandfather'.

When MC and her family went back home, even through she didn't talk about it, the rest of the family could tell it wasn't a pleasant day for her or the kids. ML's mother nagged her husband a bit, and he ended up going to Qiao Dad the next day to talk to him.

ML's dad went to talk to him, and pointed these things out. Qiao Dad originally was very respectful (and I'd say scared) of ML's father, 10y after the marriage still calling him Head instead of a closer name, so ML's father's words have a much bigger impact on him than other peoples.

Aside from talking about Zhou etc.. ML's dad also pointed out that Qiao Dad was backing up too much on Soaring's feelings for MC (Something along the lines that no matter what happens, since Soaring loves MC, he wouldn't divorce her). He points out that even if he isn't thinking about doing it, his behaviour hurts NanNan and their family, and if because of that they would get divorced, he couldn't compensate MC enough.

After that he left, and Qiao Dad just started crying feeling lonely.

Soon, it was already the time for new year's celebration. Each year, they would invite Qiao Dad to spend that time with them, since he didn't know anyone else in the Capital. This year however, because of all his fiasco, Qiao Nan simply gave him some money and told him to get himself a good dinner at a restaurant.

Qiao Nan in trouble Arc:
So, Qiao Nan has some troubles because of some rumors. I had a hard time understanding what's happening here, so maybe @rdawv can explain it if I'm wrong on this one. Anyway, I understood 2 things, but have no idea how they are related and how they came by:
There was a post somewhere in the internet that Qiao Nan is blocking other people in the foreign ministry, basically talking trash about her? I think it was made by the Xu guy that was kind of booted out from the ministry before? And with some insight from a Li fool that was still inside the ministry.
There was also a tv report, I think from MC's sister, saying that she has no filial piety and that she leaves her poor relatives alone to die, and that she controls her parents or smth.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure these things were done under Peng Yu's instructions.

Qiao Nan didn't care much. She knew from where the rumors came, so she just decided to take her kids + family out on a holiday. During that time, she also publicized a recording from the last time she talked with her sister (That time when Zizi came and asked for house + money). The party also sued these media companies that reported fake news.

However, in the end it still wasn't too good to have these things out in the open. Qiao Nan thought about it for some time, and in the end gave up her position for Ding guy (Who by the way is no longer working with Peng Yu).

Qiao Zizi's death Arc:
MC went out to pick her kids from school that day. When they were going back home with their car, Qiao Zizi jumped out on the road and let herself be hit by their car.

Zizi was scared that she will go to jail because of the trouble she made. She was also already divorced, and her mother didn't seem like she wanted to help her this time, so her thinking process was that it's better to die from Qiao Nan's car accident and make trouble for her.

MC asked her kids to call for help when she went outside the car to check out on her. A doctor came pretty quickly, so Zizi's plan didn't work out as she wanted (Since she didn't die).

When Qiao Zizi was taken to the hospital, it turned out that her injuries weren't super bad or anything, since MC was driving pretty slow. Ding Mom was back to her old self, and when she run into the hospital, she directly cursed at MC and wanted to hit her. Qiao Dad pushed her away, but yeah...

Qiao Zizi still didn't want ot be saved. If she let the doctors in the hospital do their job, she would end up well. She didn't, so an easy surgery ended up being dragged for hours, and in the end she died.

A fun fact could be, that before she died, she told the nurse in the surgery room that she didn't want Ding Mom to come to her funeral or handle it? Anyway, she said it in a way that implied that she hated the person.

Qiao Zizi in Capital Arc:
Like I said before, Zizi is now much worse than Ding Mom.

Chen Jun thought that somehow Qiao Nan owns him something. He thinks that if he married her instead of Soaring, Lin Master would help him and his Chen family would raise. Because of that, in his stupid head, he somehow turned to blame Qiao Nan for not marrying him. Bullshit, I know. Anyway, he once again talked Qiao Zizi into going to the Capital to make trouble for Qiao Nan.

Qiao Zizi got divorced with her husband, and took her daughter with her. The daughter didn't really want to leave her dad's family, but her temperament is pretty similar to Zizi, so when she was told that she would become a princess if she came with her, she quickly agreed.

The 2 of them made their way to the capital and came to MC's house saying that they are her relatives. MC again took them to a teahouse.

Her kids were home at that time. They saw that their mother's face wasn't looking good when she heard about the visit, and they also didn't know that their mother had a sister. ML's mother had no choice but to tell them some things about how bad Qiao Zizi + DIng mom were for MC in her childhood, so the kids pretty much hate these 2 now.

Qiao Zizi heard from Chen bastard that MC's master left her a lot of money, so she was jelaous of her. She ordered Qiao Nan to give her one of the houses she owns, and it would be good if she gave her 5k a month since she needs to have money for her daughter. If not, it would be good if she could introduce a job to her, 10k a month is a must!

Yeah, suprise suprise, MC didn't agree and just left.

Qiao Zizi's daughter also seems a little scared of her. Some things about how fierce she is and how the daughter's classmates have gentle mothers. In the end she sent her daughter back to her father. She wants to pick her up again when she gets some benefits from MC.

Soaring got pretty mad when he heard it. Qiao Zizi was already on his blacklist, and now hearing that she was making trouble again, it was time to get rid of her. It would bring some trouble to MC if she just ignored her family members, so Soaring just went to Ding Mom and told her to decide what she's going to do (Since most of the time Zizi allows herself to make trouble because Ding mom is there to help out). Ding Mom decided to move away to another place without Zizi's knowledge, so that she couldn't find her in the future.

Also, I think both she and Qiao dad disowned Zizi? Not sure about this one, but I'm pretty sure they did.

Qiao Zizi + Ding Mom Arc:
Shu girl is gonna get married with Zhu kid. Before, when they were engaged, they did it so that Zhu old man would be happy. This time however, Zhu kid proposed 'for real'.

I think MC is already a female diplomat/ambasador? There was a scene in which Ding Mom saw MC on the tv and talked about her being it, but not sure if something didn't get lost in MTL... Anyway, Ding Mom wants to lie on MC's coctails, so she wants to go to the capital and get some benefits for herself from MC. After all, she thinks that 'since MC is now an diplomat, she can't let other people know that she's not fillial to her parents' or other bullshit.

Qiao Zizi want's to divorce her husband. She's currently staying with Ding Mom, since her husband slapped her in the face. It seems like Zizi was playing around with other men, so yeah...

I think there was another time skip that I missed. Qiao Nan has now been in the ministry for 7-8y, while the oldest count I had was 4y. Also, something that I missed before, was that MC's father moved to the capital 5y ago. NanNan's kids will soon go to junior high school as well.

Ding mom and Qiao Zizi came to the capital and wanted to go to MC's house. Before they got in, MC was driving by, so she stopped and took them to a teahouse. Turns out MC has been giving Ding Mom 1k $ a month for 'support', but Ding Mom is more greedy and directly said that she would like to live in MC's house. MC obviously didn't agree, and it ended up with keeping the 1k$ + adding renting a house for her in capital. Also, not sure if I understood it properly, but it seems that Zizi has a daughter as well, but I'm not sure on this one.

While that was happening, her husband went ahead and found himself a lawyer to help with the divorce. Turned out that he hired a private detective before, and has a lot of evidence of Zizi cheating on him. After he left the lawyer's office, the lawyer called Chen scum.

Turns out he's an classmate of Chen Jun, and the person with whom Zizi cheated was Scum Chen. Scum Chen wasn't bothered by it, since he pretty much thought of Qiao Zizi as a monthly subscribtion prostitute. Give her some money per month and she'll sleep with him, He just threw her away.

Xu friend Arc:
Qiao Nan has a friend with the surname Xu as well. I'm not sure where she came from, I somehow missed it. I think she might be a person from the English club MC used to belong to in college. Anyway, she's married as well, and her daughter is friends with MC's daughter.

Turns out her husband wants to divorce her, and found a lot of people claiming that she's a bad person, bad mother etc...

Surname Xu asked Qiao Nan for help, so MC found a private detective that used to be in the army before, and he found proof of her husband cheating on her and making another woman pregnant.

Also, while the husband looked pretty good before, taking care of the kid and all (since Xu was working in a good company and often had to stay for overtime), it turns out that their familly is pretty strict with their way of thinking, and they favour boys over girls. So the kid was taken care by the grandmother, and even tho they 'took care' of her, she still prefers her mother.

The house they live in, aside from a part of mortgage, was mostly paid with the money from Xu. Now her husband wants to divorce her, keep the kid, and get the house as a benefit.

They both got themselves lawyers, and it ended up with Xu's being on the winning side. She asked for the parental right of her daughter,
alimony, and the house. If he doesn't want to give her the house, then sell it and split the money (She has a higher share of the house, so she would get like 10+ M, while he would only get 2,5M).

Later, since the house was in a good neighborhood that had its prices rising each year, Qiao Nan bought the house. They paid the small part to the ex-husband, and Qiao Nan gave the house back to Xu (Xu will slowly pay back the rest of the money). It can be used as a dowry later on for Xu's daughter.
