If you like some comedy: experimental log of a crazy lich

I would like to offer up It's not easy to be a man when traveling to the future, but that one goes into Mecha. MC is still OP though.

I don't think I read anything else that meets your criteria. The Tutorial is too hard is an oddity since the entire series is pretty much a flash back, so you know the MC becomes OP, but in each arc, there's still the sense that they might die. And then there's One Punch Man.

idkmylifeisamess You read my novels. :D Thank you so much.

That what would happened in Volume 2. People asked for stronger MC. So he would get items here and there. Gwahahaha.

He would need to get stronger since Volume 4 will be him against a big foe.

I have planned limited number of harem 3. Nevertheless most would appear early but actually joined later. Gwahahaha.

Except: When readers request certain female much. This is why I picked 3 from the maximum 7 in my allowance (3 wives and 4 concubines idiom for successful man in China).

Let's see whether readers want moar or want less. His harem life outside the three is actually depend on readers comments.

        MasterRabbink I have
read ancient strengthening technique, what's the point of just a few (seven) female leads, in ancient strengthening technique I think he currently has a harem count above twenty.

idkmylifeisamess Swt. You don't even remember the number. The name would be even harder. Gwahahaha.

I don't want something like that. A relationship should build and grow both person involved. So I would 'show' various ladies then wait whether a lady loved by readers. The picked lady will have their extra 'growth' on their character. Gwahahaha.

MasterRabbink I just checked, at the end of the series, there is supposed to be around 28 female leads. I take it back, I will never use Ancient strengthening Technique as an example. Just give it a small harem pls.

              Dragon Marked War God

Its the very definition of a character being OP the strongest saint reincarnated with a broken cultivation system and proceeds to pretty much crush anyone who annoys him in a pretty short amount of time and big yellow is just funny

                Strongest System
                Ultimate Scheming System

My original (Strongest Protagonist's Aura) is supposed to have OP MC, but low ratings so yea.

If you are okay with a smooth sailing (but not completely OP) MC, then the following might be good too:
                  The Novel's Extra
                  Gate of God

VRMMOs where strength DOES amount to something in real life:
                  Evil Dragon against the heaven
                  Shura's Wrath

Then there's offlandish OP MC (not human):
                  Cthulhu Gonfalon
The series with slime evolution etc. (a whole bunch of monster evolve ones)

MyriadBlades Previously reading 500 chaps of DMWG, I had confirmed a few things.
                    1) He is not completely OP he loses a battle even though he is supposed to be OP
                    2) The story is not very repetitive, but it is in a way.
3)THE ROMANCE! Where the hell is it? In 500 chaps (and some spoilers I have read for around 1k chaps) He never even kisses the two female leads. Are you F*cking kidding me?

I read like 500 chaps and story progresses a bit slow, VERY slow. For me, Emperor's Domination is around 1000% better than this. I prefer the face slapping, fast progression, OP protagonist and THE ROMANCE (Where things get somewhere, although I admit, not very far but better than DMWG) better than DMWG.

No offence if it is your favourite series, but I very much hate myself for reading five hundred chaps of platonic trash. If it had a good face slapping I might forgive it, but it doesn't! (If you compare it to Emperor's Domination). I am sorry if I offended anyone, but this is just my opinion, there is no need to take it, you could enjoy DMWG unlike me.

What kind of OP Story are you searching for?
Should the Protagonist have maximum martial expertise or magical power or technichal knowledge or strategy or luck? (For example of luck i am liking the original of http://thesylthorian.com/wn-100luck/ . The other stories are also pretty nice)
Should the story be action or comedy or slice of life? I think drama can be exempted if there should be no "dead" Characters.
What have you read and what was more remarkable? There can only be a relevant recommendation if there are some known preferences.

                      Maybe even https://www.novelupdates.com/genre/slice-of-life/

Not directly OP but a system novel that is currently getting translated. (Since i couldn't stop reading this story i pretty much read the whole story with MTL and it was still generally understandable.)

Red_Tempest I remember reading Supreme Emperor System. I read it when it had around 20 chaps and I forgot to continue it. I remember it because it was the first novel to tell me 'beautiful dirty blonde hair'. I didn't even know those words existed.

Hikaru Good suggestion, but I have read most of those with the tags: hiding true abilities and sudden strength gain. Lack of common sense is usually one that is with JP novels. They are too cringe and platonic for my taste. Slice of life is good, but that is it. There is nothing too good, or too bad about it. Sharp-tongued characters get absolutely nowhere with any OPness. Like the novel, Against the Gods. It usually goes:
                          MC: "bla bla bla, roasted!"
Villian: Bla bla bla, couldn't respond!"
                          MC:"HAHAHAHA, suck my coc!"
Villian:"Fuc this why am I arguing? I could have killed him 24 times if I attacked!"
                          MC:" Reinforcement plot armour b!tch!"

And that is how it goes. It goes nowhere. The villains will always be like: WTF? Why don't I just attack? Unless there is a usual modern world with just being a lawyer. But lawyers are only verbally good, not physically. The strength I am talking about is kind of like an all-rounder. LoHP is also OP but still gradual with strength gains, he can bearly be counted as an OP protagonist. I am talking about the strength that comes as OPness. The strength has to be constant through the series. He can't just use the power of Plot Armour. The power of strength and control!

                            2 years later

It goes mostly against what you're looking for, but you could try mine if you're looking for something that is arguably new but definitely isn't used that much.

The main character is by no means OP, but he isn't exactly weak either.

The story, for now, doesn't have that much action in it since it's first starting out, and it's not really what I had in mind for this particular volume. For now, it's focusing more on character development, exploration, and world-building than anything else. It's still very much in its beginning phases. That being said, there are a handful of fighting scenes.

One thing the main character is, however, is very intelligent. I will say that much.

I invite you to check it out. The chapters are very short and to the point, so you won't be spending forever trying to get from one point to the next. If you decide it's not for you...so be it. But if it turns out you like it, it's a win-win for both of us.

I try to upload weekly chapters, so you know when to expect the next part.

its not about the weak to strong journey is bad, its about the writing and the author. Most writings go that way because authors dont put much thought on their fight scenes. But if u find a good novel who knows what hes doing with the fight scenes then it will be an enjoyable journey.

At the same time an OP protag would also be bad if handled to a mediocre author, OP protag are rare because they will become stale for a long period of chapters. Or the fight scenes are easily resolved thus the the arc will be resolved with on or two chaps.

I think u should rather focus more on finding a good author who knows their stuffs.

I agree. It all depends on how it is written, and if it piques your interest. Some people actually like seeing a character steamroll through a new world, but have a bit of humor to it. Death March and In Another World with a Smartphone are examples of this. Some people absolute hate the lack of real stakes, but others just like that they can veg out to guilty pleasures.

I happen to like a mix of both, but prefer those that have some kind of meaningful plot. The novel I write has a protag with an OP skill but otherwise horribly imbalanced. The flaws make him who he is. It forces things to go a non-standard route. This is how I think a good approach would be for an OP protag.

Even fight scenes that are ended in a chapter or two can be creatively written. It may not be about the battle. Often, my characters struggle with an internal conflict, or there is something more to the scene than the fight itself. Personally, I'm not good at describing fights play-by-play, as that seems rather exhausting to describe the motions.
