Hello fellow novelholics!

I admit I am addicted to C-Novels and want to ask for advice to cope with this feeling of helplessness when waiting for a new update. I feel like screaming, demanding for more sometimes and I keep checking either webnovel.com or novelupdates in hope of the next shot.
Do you have any coping mechanismn you can share with me to fill this hole...?

i usually just pick up another novel lols i will read it till the current chapter and then read another one while waiting and once that is done ill just keep devouring novels until i forget the original novel and then when i remember i go back and theres a couple hundred chapters its like a magic trick !!!

AegisGold I did that for a while but by now my standards for new novels have increased and I've become very picky with the newer ones. T-T

I'm currently indulging in fantasies of writing creative AIs that create worlds for me so I can watch the inhabitants for new stories.

Would someone make that into a slightly fast paced story? A bit like "I have a mansion in an post-apocalyptic world".

        Caretaker

I was in same situation as you. If you read enough, you will stop it and become selective.

Caretaker lols i started to write after running out of stuff to read cause sometimes these novels pissed me off so damn much so i wanted to make one that i was happy with lols

Caretaker You will certainly overcome your CN webnovel addiction at some point.
I've been through the same for the last 3 years or so, jumping from one webnovel to another, most of the time because of stockpiling attempts. (I tell you, 1 chapter per month is hell)
Though Qidian was quite nice in the beginning, but their greed took the better of them. So if the unfair pricing isn't issue enough to stop reading...
Anyway, the best way I found to overcome the CN-webnovel addiction, is to replace it with another addiction!
          Tada~ :D
Read novel of higher quality! It's that simple.
Genius! I know, no need to thank me~ B)

I might have an biased opinion here, but from all novels I've read so far (web-,light- & regular novels), CN-webnovel are the absolute bottom in literally everything but wordcount. There are exceptions of course, but the far majority is just that... plain. They are not necessary bad, but if you read the same lines over and over again they grow dull and duller and if characters(side kicks/harem members/etc) & antagonists feel like they are on sale on walmart in discount pacts it's not even enjoyable any more. It's easy to something better if you remove the CN-tag.
