Just decided to jump.ship. use google people. There are altenatives and comptely free. I was waiting for Elite sub. But, instead they brought privilige which i essentially a scam looking how they market it. Some authors and translators are even defending it. It is crossing my bottom line. Now, i dont feel conflicted anymore reading my fav novel in those free sites. If QI does not give a fuck about us, what should I?

But the problem is that they will continue to do this shitty practice.
The app is still rated 4.5 on the play store, the funny part is that most of the last reviews are in the range of 3 to 1 stars.
I think we need more ppl to rate low the app and the site and hopefully lower the overall rating.
Yup I didn't mind elite since it gave unlimited but this is just insulting. Paying $10 to unlock 25 chapters and then having to pay for the chapters after its just just a gut punch after the kick in the teeth.

Eh, this privilege nonsense system has a bug that lets you read titles without paying for it, it doesn't let you unlock chapters though.

Well, you get to pay from 2500 to 4000 ss (depending on novel) to unlock 50 locked chapters and you have privilege to unlock before anyone else. Basically you pay to be able to pay. The duration is one month, meaning you will be 50 chapters ahead for a month.
Cynical_Taste Why does it sound so shady? It's like a subscription, but its not, lol. No wonder the President of J-Novel Club had nothing nice to say about Quidian on how they exploit not only their readers but also their authors, new or old.

Well you know, it isn't technically illegal. They are just taking advantage of most addicted readers with deep pockets, there is thread somewhere talking about it, but it pretty much died out already.

I have edited my review from 5 stars to 1 and stated:
as a reading app it is good, it is simple and easy to read on plus the content is decent but the management sucks. they don't care about their customers: ex: there is a thread that has over 1300 comment from customer complaining and no one from the management team has responded. they started a subscription and abruptly ended it, simply because they wanted to milk more money from us. now they started privilege scheme where you're paying for nothing. they only care about money from customer.
Would have said more but I only get 500 characters.
