CKtalon I'm glad to hear that then. Most of us can only look forward to mass releases as that priviledge access is too expensive.

Giovanny1994 unfortunely i have made use of the extra chapters as to not waste my 2000 stone and im im not as unethical as webnovel to try and claim back for a service i have used
I just wish they will return it yo their old system rather than robbing us readers of our hard earned ss.

xiashenghan SO very glad mass release is still an option. I love Mass release. For a moment I thought it wasn’t and then three more chapters were updated. I came to correct my venting of it.

itsumademo This is why I’m so baffled. 15 advanced privilege chapters in one novel costs 750 SS and that’s over 160 regular chapters (at an average of 4-6 SS per chapter) so I can’t understand how this scheme is suppose to be logical. And you can’t use that “privilege” on any other novel except the one you purchased it for?!?! Webnovel you MUST be having a laugh! Bloody money suckers! 
Just trash the entire scheme!! I’d rather you just stick to the £19.99 per month instead of this rubbish.

I used to be a elite member and indeed it was too good a deal for readers, so i wasn't surprised when webnovel cancelled the whole thing
However.... now this privilege system is the opposite, its too horrible a deal for readers. Ridiculous prices are being charged for the "right to buy" more chapters ?
If we take this logic further down the road, maybe in future we the readers will need to pay money for the privilege of downloading webnovel app and accessing webnovel app
If you want more money then just directly increase spirit stone prices for new chapters, this will at least encourage translator and authors to dedicate more time into producing new content
With the privilege system, there is 0 incentive for authors/translators to produce content faster and 0 actual benefits for the reader since this "privilege of buying new chapters " has been given free from the beginning of the app.
Furthermore what if the reader refuses to spend money on this stupid privilege? Then he wont be able to buy anymore chapters and authors will get less income!
This is why the privilege system is so counter-productive. It actually stops readers from buying more chapters....why would you want this ?
My humble suggestion... If you want more money, just directly increase the price of chapters
Am not an addict to this app. I read anytime am having free SS. The day dey stop giving it, I delete the app. I don't have money to buy SS.

Ps. I thought that I should support the original publisher, but poorly, they become more and more shi**y! I has been a fan of Qidian Eng publisher since the day they open the platform. Every company will get better with time, but that concept can’t be use to talk about here!

I'm kind of lost with your reply but from what they're telling is SOME books will still get mass releases. So there's no guarantee that the book will get them. And we're already experiencing them. No mass releases thanks to this.

Sometimes I pray that one of those who buy the privilege for the novel I read would be nice enough to share them. 
You know what, instead of spending this much money on Qidian's low quality novels, you can buy books by best-selling authors like Stephen King for much cheaper.
Sloppy_Daoist Well the problem is, that people like me already read anything fantasy related what we were interested in that u could buy in paper form. So there is only the light novel option left.

IT IS NOT WORTH IT AT ALL
Pay so much for the only benefit of reading in advance it's FREAKING RIDICULOUS
- Must pay however many coin to access Locked/advanced chapters
- Must pay MORE coin to then unlock specific chapters as indicated in the rules
Be careful and well advised: DON'T. DO. IT

jenniilex3 this argument is stupid already. Because everybody knows Privilege is for PAID users, that's what they intended when they first made the system. You can choose whether of not to buy it. 
Nobody is forcing you to buy, you can ignore it.
Original novels have reduced their privilege chapters to 5-10 coins too. Only translated keep the high prices.
Eh, I made the same mistake by replying to her. She's just necroing all the threads she can find in order to rant. Let's waste our time in a more productive way! By writing more chapters!
