The only reason many people stopped reading it was that at chapter 16 the translations became bad. This was stated and up-voted over and over by the people who quit reading it. They refuse to read until chapter 50 where it starts to have better translations. The translations finally get a lot better at about chapter 75. If we had those chapters re-translated the LN would have had far more readers.
The other reason that it was dropped was that it NEVER had a dedicated translator and editor.

I'd rather spent my votes to get these novels up and running again.

Belkar I really like this idea and i think a lot of people would love something like this since often there aren't even novels on the whats next list that you want to read so you just vote for the SS. This would give people more options and a viable solution for all the dropped novels. I hope Qidian sees this thread

There are 825 chapters altogether(source: NU). The current status of translating excluding privilege chapters is 725 and if you include privilege system it's 745.
Even if let's say it's completed at 745. you can't be seriously saying that I need to use privilege to read to the end...
Is there any hope of Martial Arts Master getting picked up again? Since Qidian owns the rights you can't even switch over to a mtl. I've already read up to the part it's translated 4 times now and would love to see it return.

CKtalon whoa, whoa, whoa, what? 80 chapters to completion? Since when? Cos last i checked, we were at 450/750, and you're telling me that the translators are already done up to 670 on the sly?
So why hasn't there been any uploads at all if they're working on it? Stocking it all up so they can stick all of it in privileged right off the bat?

CreamPuffDelights Yes, they have been working at it for more than half a year, which is why they are so close to completion. No idea what their plan is, and it's not necessarily because of Privilege since they've been working on it for way longer before Privilege came into effect.
Update: 61 untranslated chapters. 6 in-progress to completion.
NoAnimeNoLIfe I'm not sure Webnovel even owns the rights for Village Girl as Family Head, Picked up a General for Farming. It wasn't originally published on Qidian. The fan translator has been continuing the project on their blog. I would prefer it here though as translators have incentives for more stable, higher quality work.

Then he just left and stopped for a week or two and the story rankings shot down.
Then the translator stopped updating quickly because the story wasn't popular LOL.
He started again no explanation and it went back up a but but not where it was originally.
Then he left again in a week or two and the story died AGAIN.
Then the updates started coming in sporadically.
Blamed the editor.
Blamed the editor got a new edtor.
Blamed the new editor.
Dropped the story said he was going on vacation.
Came back and said he going on vacation again.
Translating sporadically.
And here we are.
Translator killed his own story. Blames the story for not being popular when the updates are sporadic as hell.
