Looks like it’s time to pick up other novels in this site thats not tagged as premium. IMHO, 15 ss on average to unlock a single chapter from legendary guardian isn’t worth it. I mean only getting around 10 ss per daily check-ins just can’t cut it. Yes, there would soon be ads that would give bonus ss if you view them but how much do you think it’s going to give? 3? 5? 10? Even if they gave 10 ss per add it would only be enough to unlock a single chapter from guardian.

Upon spending that many stones, I’d only get to read 1chapter/day. It would still be more efficient to just read non-premium tagged novels for those 4 ss to unlock them. Maybe if they’d give the option to keep spam-viewing ads to earn those bonus ss to unlock premium chapters, spending some time to watch them would atleast have enabled us to read more than just 1 chapter/day.

This is just the thoughts of this fellow daoist. I apologize for any grievances the words of this lowly me has caused.

    iamgodslayer10 Indeed. They're not "advance" chapters. They're "premium" chapters. This isn't Patreon-lite, this is another form that just so happens to resemble Patreon at the moment. Come the month's end, I expect the faster novels to reach 30+ Premium chapters, with over 100 within a year if it continues at that pace.

      WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL hey I dont have problem if u qidian decided change some to no ads premium chapter, but you guys rlly need better standard (some chapter need 15 or 9 & 6 spirit stones this seem lot random to me) how much value ss in each premium chapter exactly like more paragraph mean more ss or what? Does it also depend wether the novel is new or old?

            I never catch up to such a "wall". I always start reading a novel and before I come near the translated "wall" I drop the novel because I found another novel which interests me more.
            That's also why I have 2100+ SS only from LogIn and voting. It seems I will never get rid of my SS.:smile:

              WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL Is there a way to choose to hide the locked chapters? I usually read offline, and accessing these chapters always moves my bookmarked spot several chapters into the locked chapters. And I can't unlock them offline.

                I don't care about the change since there are plenty of novels you can read for free. I support you guys

                Just to clarify so premium users can read ALL novels for free, all the time. Premium for free novels means that ordinary users have to spend Spirit Stones to read, but what about premium novels NOT for free? Are ordinary users not allowed to read those?

                      Qiaolu I bet viewing ads is limited. like 10 ads is 10 spirit stones which is equivalent to less 5 chapters of novel series.
