at least not super dumb villians or heroes/ 1d characters

    Anti-hero (or at least not a naive hero)
    some romance (not like 20 1d girls, who matter for 1 chapter)

    Hey î_î I have a story that is being written, but I still hesitate to post it, it fits into all the themes you have put. I've been working on it for over three years. Would you like to be some kind of beta tester? I can send you two chapters in the afternoon.
    Here is the little premise of the story: "Black and white merged in this ocean of shadows. No sound, no light, but a silhouette was slowly approaching a breach that was crossing this disturbing sea.
    It was a young man's body, he was lying down. He was asleep. Eyes wide open. The reflection of the breach through his pupils."
    If you want the tags, you just have to ask for them. I also have some drawings for this story (my profile photo is one of the drawings).
    I can give you information about the story, the storybuilding, the map I created, but if I do all this, I just expect you to be transparent on it, I trust you.

      Deliverer Try NoGift by Tyramisu. It has magic, action, a genius MC, and a romance subplot. Tho if you're the type of reader who would apply realistic fiction logic in everything you read, then you might not like it. Coz there's a lot of mental characters there and you might not like some of their actions. But if you're not, then I'm sure you'll enjoy it. 😊

Because I have the impression that you ignore stories that don't have many chapters x) Actually, story with all these criterias, I didn't find much story, it's a little precise. Some of the translated novels may please you, but well, I doubt their qualities...

                      Brainr0t you're are definitly right. I would love to have a look at your story, but it is always disheartening to find a new gem, and being only able to read it for like half an hour.

                          I have 24 old chapters (54k words) but I don't think they're good enough, so I'm working on them again.

                                Thank you for all your recommendations, definitly going to try them all, as soon as i finished "The empyrian Blacksmith", which i can only recommend. It is definitly another gem among all the weak to strong novels. It has a good mix between action, sof, blacksmithing and romance. It has a little bit system and the MC is actually intelligent and super easy to sympathize with. Another one I can recommend is "The Dragon Born" and "Supreme Magus"
