and now i regret unlock RTW premium chapter. premium chapter is just like blackhole to your spirit stone. once you join premium, you lose your right to get free chapter, every new chapter will become premium chapter, and if you want to stop, you need to wait till the free reader catch up to you.
its okay if its just 10 chapter, you can still wait for free reader, but based on the calculation there will be hundreds of premium chapter in a month and maybe thousand in a year. can you wait that long ? i think its better to stop now and just become free reader, its not worth it. its a black hole

sunstrike RTW premium isn't that bad actually. You should still be able to keep up with the premium chapters if you use all the free ss you get daily. Well, that is ofc considering that the prices will stay the same and they won't decrease the free ss ammount in the future.

natto I hope it never becomes premium or else another novel on my list will have to take the backseat. Immortal Mortal, Rise of the Legendary Guardian, and Release the Witch have already taken the fall. IM is the novel which got me started on Qidian and I’m really sad to let it go.

Re: Patreon vs Premium
Patreon is entirely voluntary and it depends on the donor on how much he/she wants to shell out. The premium system on the other hand is somewhat forcing the avid readers (fans) of the selected novels to pay for the updates.

I hope the ads system gets re-implemented soon on the premium novels. It’s just so much of a buzzkill from getting 3 chapter updates down to 1 per day.

Patreon let's people leech, depending on others to give several dollars a month, when the translator would be much better off if
everyone just gave one small dollar a month

sunstrike It is not the best way to solve the problem, but I only read one premium novel, RTW, so I am just saving all my spirit stones for that and watching adds for all my other novels. I didn't bother saving up any of my stones and only have about 80 left.

sunstrike daily check in give you at least 16-20 for me. I guess level matters too? Voting power stone and energy stone should give you at least 10 regardless of level though

Be careful when saving though. Always check your spirit stone expiration. I just recently noticed this. Some of my spirit stones expire in 12 days. Dunno if it’s a new thing or has been happening since I started in Qidian.

Lyle_Walt Good advice. I have less than 100 though so I don't think it will really affect me too much, If it gets to the point where I'm over 100 I will just start spending them on all the chapters I read. There is no point in hoarding them when they only serve one purpose.

my point is that if I pay 50$ I will only get 10 chapters in advance on Patreon.

But if I pay 50$ on premium I will get 625 chapter in advance.

10 chapters VS 625 chapters

That is why I prefer premium than Patreon.

PS.I want free chapter too but my reason told I have to pay for them too.
