Anyway, I'm not sure why you keep going on with this nonsense that I'm biased. I said no lies in my arguments unlike certain 'customers'. Strangely enough, the best argument these 'customers' can come up with "Hurr durr you're biased I'm not talking to you" when they don't know how to reply cause their lies have been exposed 
That being said, I don't completely agree with the number of chapters being halved either, because it was a bit too much, or rather than that, it's annoying that I can't decide the number personally and I'm stuck with 7/week even if I want to release more 'free' chapters, but it's still higher than 95% of the other sites out there, and people seem to forget this detail.

GodBrandy Well I don't think you are purposefully biased this time, I will not comment too much about on discord, will just say we all know how that went down, you shot first and asked questions later not a good police officer imo but hey it was your justified choice.
People can be biased just because they know something, you are a translator who is paid by qidian yes? your interest is to keep money coming in from qidian yes? The way a customer would see it is an employee is defending his job because it will be in jeopardy should anything fall. Now I don't think you are 100% reliant on QI but no one wants to lose a job cause the company fell in, not saying qidian will but you know what I mean. It's just natural that as an inside man you would be seen as biased.
A customer is a customer no matter how small. Customer Service is important, employees at mcdonalds(not saying qidian is mcdonalds just an example) have been fired for less. Though I'm not sure of your intentions, it appeared as though you were being aggressive to potential customers. On the forums where it would seem translators have some say this could be seen as damaging for qidian customer service. I have also been told I appear aggressive, maybe we can learn something from this together (no sarcasm).

Me defending qidian in this forum isn't going to change much because only a very small fraction of the user base is actually frequenting this forum. The opposite is also true, no matter how many people you see complaining here, they're not even 0,1% of the total users of webnovel.com. That's the reason I find this thread stupid, complaining here won't change anything (especially since it's not even constructive criticism but something a 3-year-old kid would do); only the decision of the silent majority will weigh on qidian's future plans or implementations.
I'm not trying to argue but I think that those on the forum are the most loyal.... the best customers would be the ones that try to immerse themselves into whatever their favorite company has to offer... the forum being one of them.
But I understand if you think that's false...

GodBrandy Funny you mention that, where should people actually go to be heard? As far as I know this was the only place is there another place? Do you think discord is better? Where should we send our grievances to? I have many and many suggestions starting with getting an actual FAQ and maybe a real reporting system? Should we send a letter in the mail to china?
Who is this silent majority? Those that pay? If i pay a certain amount to qidian they will listen to me? Is there some process that guarantees that?
I mean as far as I know all people have is forums and some email that doesn't give 100% assurance they are heard, you defending qidian isn't going to help anyone so I don't understand why you would do it the way you did instead of telling them a better method to get in touch or something productive. Sure it is not the majority of people here on the forums but it doesn't mean those that aren't on the forums don't also agree, no one has asked if users cared or how they felt, they just implemented it. So you cannot speak for how the people not on the forums feel. Even if you find it stupid, saying so is not making any of this better for you, qidian or the people here so I'm not sure I understand the logic? Why must people argue over a thing that has already been argued over for how many forum threads? This started with just a simple "Lets Boycott!" and now it's transformed into this slug fest where none of you talk without some sarcastic or hostile intention. I won't do calculations for now but listen to this. If you happen to have money and are okay with spending it, then spend it. If you don't then somewhere out in the world there is a old granny or hard working house wife that needs help! Heck i went around cleaning dog feces out of lawns for money when i was in middle school! If you can't find something better than that, and you happen to really love the novels you read (and aren't just addicted to them) then find something on par or worse. Even if all the novels on this site do go premium, i don't see QI leaving no retreat route for us people who don't buy SS (i spend my money on other things). If they really didn't then there is someone smart enough in the company to go "Oh poop, we dun goofd!". Morale of this rant is, go work, get a hobby to distract you from this site while you wait, and stop being condescending children when most of you are at a high school age. Don't send hate, I understand most of you.
What gets me is all these people saying they can't pay a few bucks because of their living situations. Y'all have a good enough life to have access to the internet, use that internet on one of the I dunno... 10+ popular survey and ad watching sites. Easy to dink around for 20 min a day and make $5-$10 PayPal a month. Problem solved.
