You could give mine a shot. I'm writing a transmigration novel that is similar in sense to a Japanese isekai one.
no more repeated plots please
People write on topics that are popular. The plot is almost the same, not only among unknown authors but also among famous ones. It only remains to hope that the new author can bring something new and unexpected to the boring story. Alas ... such hopes do not come true often!

About writing on topics that are popular...
I believe some write with the popularity in focus, while others write what they like... And it is what is popular. It's a bit unfair to say one cannot write what they like. But the reader should at least be equipped with a powerful search tool that allow him/her to find what he/she wants to read. I'm sure somewhere in the depths of the rankings you will find the hidden gems you crave.
By the way, I believe the ones writing for popularity only are the same which we see mixing words as king, God, heaven, goddess, prince, princess, CEO, wife, husband, marriage, empress, dragon, Lord, supreme, etc. To the point some titles seem to be AI generated (and the plot too).
The Supreme Heavenly Dragon CEO God King's Wife Marriage seems a good alternative. Perhaps the one ring that rules them all.
By the way, why would I waste my screen time and not promote my own book?
My Weird Fairy Unnie : no CEO, no forced marriage, just magic and fun.

Like what the others said in the above, people tend to write these kinds of plots as it's popular. Many people on this site enjoy the "face slapping" events and all this CEO stuff. The historical transmigration ones also have a bunch of a girl transmigrating into the body of some weak girl and then ends up overpowering the antagonists because of her experience from her past life.
(I'm just gonna promote my work here too lol, it's a reincarnation novel [of course not the typical plot you see on webnovel cause I can't write those properly]: https://www.webnovel.com/book/14544383305710405)
(Also, my reply wouldn't post so idk if this is a duplicate)
SereneChild you should check out, Artificial Mate. The grammar is not perfect, but the story is one of a kind. I've never read a story like it before.

You think that romance/CEO is already over rated, but don't you think that transmigration/reincarnation is already over rated too? Most top ML novel here are all about transmigration/reincarnation (isekai if you will), and of course, this includes harem/RPG-like system/hero wannabe
kazesenken Thank I could use it
The OP and everyone can like what they like.
It's WN and honestly readers on here have a specific type of Asian inspired novels. That includes some classic maybe overused tropes. But to new readers, it feels fresh, and to the addicts, well...yeah >_>
We've all been there sometimes in our reading style.
I do think the CEO type trope is vastly overdone but I don't read that genre anyway. There's plenty of gems around the internet, they're just not promoted sadly. If anything I think WN also know how overdone/tired the trope is, judging from how they word the site's writing prompts. It still sells well though so they'll keep releasing, more fans/authors pop up, and the cycle goes on.
SereneChild If you're searching for a transmigration story to the new world, then try mine story.
It's called Eternal Love: A LOVE STORY.
It's about a girl who transmigrates from ancient time to modern world. I can't much explain here, I would recommend just to visit the page first, go through the synopsis.
If it suits your taste, then give it a read.
