Is the inabilety to recive SS upon checking in using the "PC site" a permenant feture or a temporary issue?

I really like the content on this app however its not catering to its users. At this point it cost more than what its worth. Im going to stop using this app.

I've never done it before, but you'll have to make sure that the 'Farming Mode' toggle in your settings is on, and then you'll need to look for gold pouches which are scattered through the (free?) novels. Then I think you'll need to read those novels, at which point you'll have to watch ads. Watch the ads, and if everything's well, you get the free coins.
Maybe it's better to ask someone else who has actually done it to enlighten you.
The option to watch ads for to receive SS is no longer on the app. I noticed it was missing yesterday, and it's still gone. Is this coming back, or do readers need to drop more Webnovel series due to the lack of free SS?

Bot0034 In that case, I will probably have to choose one or two series to read actively and drop or shelve everything else. It's times like these that alternative sites really shine in their customer service compared to this site.
I only read from the pc site because I can use the reader view. Reader view is not always available on sites I read from. Sorry, but this action to limit how readers can acquire SS by checking in using the app, which means downloading it, won't change my preference. And I don't download apps just because.
So, no SS today :(
