Hey, thanks for creating this thread. I'll be borrowing this for some self-promotion, hope you don't mind. If you do, please tell me.
Hi,
I have read some novels here and came to realize that many here need an editor. So, I thought why not?
Well, jokes aside, I really love reading but the bad grammar can take out all the fun from it. So, I wanted to help the authors and translators if I could. I am good at English and I have some experience in editing novels.
If you are interested come and negotiate the rates with me.
I know I'm being somewhat shameless by asking the rates first, but believe me, it's from the experience of being swindled after some times. So, if interested find me at discord

Hey there! I am mainly looking for developmental edits on this book:

I don't think I really need copy or line edits as my grammar is pretty good (there may be the occasionally awkwardly worded phrase which should probably be flagged). I do need to know if my story is not making sense though.
Hello there. I'm looking for any edits on the monolgues on my fanfic.

Do I stay using the style I want, or do I change it a bit?
Alwan_ thank you so much :)

Hi I'm Bcrowhunt an author
I have two works
One of them is an old one which I put on a hiatus because I honestly kept churning out chapters until 300 but I stopped because one I felt like the story had to many elements which I couldn't quite keep track off and I couldn't organize, this also stopped me because I wasn't sure what lane I wanted to push forward in.
I've taken some time fixing it up here and there but it's just stalled it for too long now
Another one I recently started, it's a lot cleaner and I really feel passionate for it too, but I like both my works and I'd like to improve and continue them.
Title: #The Journeyman's New Journey
Genre: #Fantasy Romance
Synopsis:
A Journeyman in the boxing ring goes back in time to when he's a child, but he finds that the world he's in this time isn't exactly the same as the one he left and maybe his skills won't be as useful this time around.

Title: #Tear A Path
Genre: #Fantasy, End of the World

It's a big one but I really need some feedback and help
I am an editor/proofreader. My rates are a little high, but I can edit as much as 5000 words per day. Contact me if you are interested.
Hello guys, I have taken up editing recently and will help out authors who have just begun their journey with writing. I have experience in writing and editing, mainly under fantasy, sci-fi, action and adventure genres. If anyone needs an editor, let me know. We can talk further about it on discord.

I would like an editor. I'm writing a fantasy called "Mages of the North" and about to finish my first volume. It's a rare mixture of magic being used during the 17-18th century, which means a pre-American Revolution sort of time period.
If anyone's interested, let's talk.
First, figure out what type of editing you need: Copy, line, mechanical, substantive, developmental, manuscript, etc. Hopefully, its not editing you need, but simple proofreading.
Second, go over your own work. Look at things more from a substantive editing point of view. Especially chapter 1. If I have to power my way through chapter 1 to get to the good stuff, that story will likely be dropped. If your chapter 1 isn't that good, you may have to rewrite a lot of your beginning/early chapter to get a good starting chapter 1. And even if we ignore the rampant witch hunts in the 17th-ish century, promises of a "rare" combination of "magic" and "17th-18th century" isn't enough to get me to power through a horrible start. Make sure you're building suspense properly, and going straight into [an] action.
Third, use a grammar/spell checker.
If you think you did all that, feel free to ping me with your chapter 1, 2, and/or 3.
