From chapter 3 to chapter 29 all those paragraphs are all over the place. It's very uncomfortable to read.

We want a good experience while and now there's all gaps everywhere.
Then again from chapter 30 it's fine.
Only from chapter 3 to 29. Please fix it.

@CKtalon can you tell the team who's doing that novel to fix it?

  • Tofu replied to this.

Max255 We want a good experience while and now there's all gaps everywhere.

Honestly, the issue isn't actually with the translator but more with the author. I had the translator and editor do small changes in order to make it look more smooth after chapter 60. If we were to change the all the earlier chapters, we can do that. The issue though is that we might have to deviate a little bit from the original. As I said, the actual chapters are a bit all over the place.

Tofu I think you've misunderstood me.

Take a look back from chapter 3 to chapter 29.

Look how the paragraphs are there unlike those first 2 chapters and onwards from chapter 30.

I'm not talking about the translation but more like how the paragraphs are being uploaded.

Those big spaces in between the paragraphs. That's not even proper.
That has nothing to do with the author. You guys are not even responsible for uploading it like that. The format is terrible. No wonder people are giving low reviews. Please fix it.

Max255 No wonder people are giving low reviews. Please fix it.

People are giving low reviews because this novel sucks.

Tofu Wow. So the editor and the translator had to actually change things the author wrote to make it readable? Why bother translating a book that needs so much fixes?
Sythcake yep, the book is a pain.

SrtaA Because of money and nothing else. Even if 95% of people dislike it, as long as it earns enough money to make a profit, they'll keep translating.

Any novel that doesn't make enough money is dropped, but the license remains Webnovels which means no third party can legally translate it without working with WN.

              TrueGodOfExp what I mean is:
It's not a new thing some heavy advertised translations ( banners, featured heavily, etc) turn to be a total flop among WN readers, no matter it's promising in QI. It should be a good signal when you have to invest time rewriting what the author did, and yet, getting so negative reviews just after its debut in WN.
Nobody reading novels at WN is expecting fine literature, but when the translator needs to fix the author text so things make sense...

Max255 Our hands are really tied in this. The "paragraph" issues that you brought up is actually strictly following the paragraph by the author. In order to fix it, we would have to request the translators to merge the sentences in order to allow the sentences to flow better. However, after speaking to Webnovel, we were advised to not do so as it would create an internal issue so we have no choice but to leave it as it is.

It's our responsibility to ensure the translation is done accurately. It's in our best interest to ensure the novel gains the popularity that we want it to gain, however, due to the limited influence of our translation group, we are not able to do so.
