SrtaA or they were both drugged, slept with each other, both no recollection of the night, woman pregnant, raises child on her own

Variation: child somehow gets raised by the father, mother thinks child was a death born or miscarriage...

And even without child they often just fall in love. A girl from the childhood, someone they saw once in the past and ever since liked them or even just someone they saw once outside their office window etc you name it

SrtaA oh yeah and somehow it's always the supposedly strong female lead that has to endure without a way out. Yes people in love may act stupid sometimes and endure even if they could escape but then don't describe it as if she can't escape. If you write she can't escape she's not strong.

So as nearly always the synopsis in the book is wrong. Often there are "snippets" from the book that sound amazing but you'll never read them in the actual novel? Wth! So I rarely read them anymore

Alpha_Medic actually I never read this because I usually don't like to do/read/ etc things that are hyped. And most of the time those things aren't you know the real deal. Just what I'm thinking

123removed yeah! And isn't is fun to have a confident woman who also may tease you? I mean I'm not a man but as a woman I like to read more about those strong woman who can keep their men in check (in a balanced way of giving and taking hope you get what I mean).

Question to you men out there: do you really prefer a shy innocent girl or a woman who knows what she want and how to get it? I mean both have their charms but would you be satisfied with the forever pure girl?

shadowdrake27 oh my goodness yes the hindrances and arguments have gone missing nowadays it's just peace, joy and pancakes (Friede, Freude, Eierkuchen) how we Germans would say. Nothing to build and strengthen your relationship.

And also endless indulgent and pampering without stop... No wonder the girls go insane and do stupid things if no one ever stops them πŸ™„

Yeah but the thing is the synopsis is wrong most of the time. I noticed that (for the books I read) most of the time the snippet from the synopsis is nowhere found inside the novel. So what if the snippet is the reason I'm reading the novel? It feels like fraud in broad daylight

Lievel_Veltrandt absolutely! I am currently reading a good novel with a strong FL. Yeah she has her weaknesses and hadn't has much time to shine yet but I feel like there'll be more. Just not to long ago she crashed her car into an enemy and jumped out in the last second. Yeah not very intelligent but I think the characters are very well written and developed. (doing a bit of advertising I usually dont: the days when im with you)

Also I really liked its not easy to be a men after traveling into the future but you nearly forget that the FL is a woman. And I think it got dropped after nearly 1500 ch 😭

So what I wanted to say is that there are a few hidden gems out there but it takes much time and failure to dig them up and uncover them in this dirt. There are way to many novels that get pushed out by webnovel πŸ™„

Peace, joy, and pancakes. I love that, haha. We don’t have an expression like that here in the U.S. that I’m aware of.

It’s frustrating to read a story or romance without struggles because it’s not relatable. Struggles always happen in real life relationships. The people you fight the most with are often the ones you love the most.

shadowdrake27 yeah and you have to get to know your partner. You just can't decide I love him/her now and then be so dedicated... Love just doesn't work this way.

I mean I can understand that you sometimes just want to read such happy (peace joy and pancakes πŸ˜‰) kind of story's because I was like that too and even now I get the urge to read something light like this once in a while. But it doesn't last long. And also it's just once in a while.... You can't read such brainless things the whole time

Winzentwinni Right!!! And after all the torture the male lead gives her, somehow, the FL still falls in love with ML. That is Stockholm syndrome!!!!! There is this new comic I saw on Instagram, the FL is an assassin that being tortured by ML... After shit this and that.. She fall in love with him because he treats her the kindest!!! That's Stockholm syndrome okay!!!

I don't think it works well. At least not for me.

In my last story, I write a non-harem story with a smart heroine and little troupe, not many collections.

So this time, I write a harem with non-troupe cliches (better collection) but no smut (that explains why the collection isn't as many as smut harems. When the MC doesn't show an interest in the opposing sex that likes him, I have readers calling him dense and stupid: X

I wrote many of your points in fact and the MC will actually get slap face by the smarter heroines but it didn't go too well with quite a number of male readers. Maybe I need more female readers to come and support my story ___
