For example, the character thinks he is a summoned hero, only to be told that he's just an idiot who screwed up a spell. He has a group of women following him like a harem, but he constantly refuses them. Does this sound like something you'd be interested in?

          Or if you like Eastern Fantasy, Forty Mileniums of cultivation has a well developed characters and gave the side characters more screen time to show their depth.
