ElionAVL 57 novels huh... You know, it would pretty much take you 10 hours to read just the daily releases from 57 novels, and that's if you have above avarage reading speed to boot!

I also have quite a number of novels in my library but sadly almost 10 of those don't get updated in quite a while now.

N0xiety Not gonna flame, but your reading speed must be quite slow, or you expect every novel to have 14 chapters a week. A lot of novels only update a couple of times a week, just in my library I got ST which is irregular as hell, IRS which is like a chapter a day, Epoch of Twillight, which even more infrequent, NEET, FMC, Reverend Insanity, and that is only a couple of them who update barely a chapter a day, if even that.

Zogarth1337 To be fair there are quite a few novels here that get 1 chapter a month or none at all. So it’s fair to ask why they’re focusing on novels already being translated by others (not to mention it’s almost finished)

Velixar Maybe, they are holding a grudge because their previous fight why do you care?Let them fight .you get your chapters.

DiegoPedroso Its hard to tell. It takes time to see.

God, this is a huge topic and I may have to write a long explanation

N0xiety like Zogarth1337 , not intending to flame, but how does it take you that long? Takes me 3 minutes or so if an average chapter, 5 if a long chapter, and some of them are 2 or less minutes.

TargetPractice1 Sigh... Everyone thinks they take so little time to read chapters. Try reading a single chapter of Immortal Mortal... Unless you are skimming heavily, it's not gonna work. 5 minutes would mean you are reading at a speed of 500 words per minute. So, you are pretty much a great reader who has gone through reading training and somehow can keep your speed and comprehension while reading a novel. I have also gone through training, but that doesn't mean i use it while reading fiction. Speed reading is not meant to be used on fiction literature (or anytime you read for fun). It is indeed a very useful skill when reading documents tho. For speed reading, you need to stop subvocalizing, but for enjoying a novel, you generally need to subvocalize while reading, which clocks you to a speed of 200 to 250 wpm depending on how fast you can process information. Sure, if you are not subvocalizing, you can read as fast as your eyes can follow, but you won't be able to enjoy or process the information you get from a fiction. Yeah, not trying to flame either or saying you are lying, but well, i don't really believe you are reading with 500 wpm speed unless you are skimming over half the chapter. Which kind of makes it pointless to read that novel to start with if you are skimming over half the content. It's obviously not a novel you are enjoying that much. Next time you read a chapter, look at the time and see how long you take. Don't force yourself to read faster just because of that tho, it would be pointless otherwise...

N0xiety Well I've enjoyed reading for over 10 years, so its become a habit. Havn't gone through training, just a lot of reading I guess. Especially with these types of novels, where author work towards word length, filled with fillers. Immortal mortal chapters are indeed longer than average chapters, and I believe it would take me around 5 minutes. I will admit I was skimming it, the plot is too predictable, side characters say the same things before they get beat, mc does the same arrogant shit over and over again... etc.

Um, if we skim or even skip reading, then why read? I know. Redundant question. Oh, wait. Or is it rethorical question? 😧

                      1. Buddies, I got 57 novels, but I mostly stack them, I don't read them 1 by 1. That would be boring. A few are for me to read later, 0 chapters read.

                      2. Any novel's chapter is read is going to take me 1-2 min.
