How can I switch from page/ turn view to scroll view when reading?

Tapping the box with the up-and-down arrows will enable scroll view or you can tap the box with the left-and-right arrows to enable page/ turn view instead.

Spirit Stones are used to skip ads on adwalled chapters and are used to purchase chapters with premium walls.

There are 3 types:
Spirit Stones. These are bought Spirit Stones that never expire. These are used after your 1st and 2nd type Spirit Stones have run out.
Bonus Spirit Stone (1st type). These types of Bonus Spirit Stones come along as a free gift whenever you purchase Spirit Stones. They have a 90 day expiry date. These are used before bought Spirit Stones but after your 2nd type Spirit Stones have run out.
Bonus Spirit Stones (2nd type). These types of Bonus Spirit Stones are given whenever you vote at https://www.webnovel.com/vote, spend power stones on a novel, or when you complete your daily check in. They have a 30 day expiry date. These Spirit Stones will be used first, before bought and 1st type Spirit Stones.

Why can’t I watch an ad anymore? And why has the price increased from 4 Spirit Stones to X Spirit Stones?
There are three types of ‘barriers’ for novels:
- Completely free. These novels have no form of barrier or walls, allowing anyone to read them.
- Adwalled. Usually, the latest two chapters for these novels have an adwall. Anyone can view the ad to read the chapter (even if you’re not logged in, however, if you log in again, the system won’t realise that you’ve already seen the ad) or they can pay 4 Spirit Stones (you have to be logged in for this) to read the chapter.
- Premium walled. Some novels may be premium walled which means that you won’t be able to watch an ad to read the chapter. Roughly, for premium chapters, one must pay a Spirit Stone for every 200 words. However, if a chapter is 1000 words, for example, you might not necessarily pay 5 Spirit Stones. There may be other factors influencing the Spirit Stone price.

Some novels may have a Premium wall placed over it. This means that the novel will release a few regular chapters every week as well as even more ‘Premium’ chapters. If a novel turns Premium, then they’ll release premium chapters every week, as well as at least one free chapter a day. If your novel turns Premium, you will still be able to read it for free. The following will happen, for example:

Premium chapter released: 349,350,351,352,353,354,355,356,357,358,359
Week 2:

You'll still be able to read free chapters, it's just that they'll come in lesser numbers. You can either wait for the chapter to be unlocked, or unlock it yourself, however, it’s advisable that you carry on spending Spirit Stones as the number of chapters released is not dependant on what you’ve unlocked, rather, it will unlock at a regular, community pace. For example, if you, in Week 1, unlock chapter 359, your free chapters, by the end of Week 2, won’t end on chapter 365, it’ll end on chapter 355, like everyone else’s.

Why can’t I edit my forum posts?
If someone has posted after your post, on the same thread, you will no long be able to delete or edit your post. This is probably to ensure that every conversation makes sense, instead of people editing their messages to make everyone else look strange. If you double post, then delete the second post, you will still not be able edit your post. The same applies with making a thread. If someone says something on it, even if it is later deleted, you will no longer be able to delete it or change the title.

You can make a thread on the Webnovel Forums (scroll up, you should find a question related to making forum posts). Remember to add the tag ‘Report Translation Mistakes’.
You could also post the mistake on the chapter itself and hope that the editor or translator sees your comment.
You could also go to the #Suggestions_Bug_Feedback channel on the Qidian International Discord server (go to the World Portal section to get the link), post the mistake and chapter number and ping CKtalon.
You could also join the novel’s Discord server (go to the World Portal to find if your novel has a Discord server), find a channel for reporting translation/ grammar mistakes and post your mistake. If the translator is on Discord, you can directly message them with the mistake.
