Also I don't mean like when someone goes back in time after dying once, but similar to "Skeleton Soldier Couldn't Protect the Dungeon" Where the MC Regresses every time he dies.
Anyone have Tips for Writing a Regression Story?
You want a 'The edge of tomorrow' kind of regression ?
That's going to be tricky. You need a plot that it more solid than concrete to take into account all the little details that are bound to change.
And a very good reason for those regressions as well. It needs to have a purpose, right ?
You can have lots of fun with it though, especially once the main character has realised he/she is regressing at every death. The question will be; how many deaths are you planning, and why ?
Yeah the kind of feeling I was going for is like "The edge of tomorrow".
Though looks like I have a lot of work to do as I need rethink my plot quite a bit as what I originally planned was somthing different.
I am hoping to show a lot of psychological side though since anyone would go mad if they kept being forced to regress.
Ah like that anime where the guy returns to certain 'save points' when he dies and ends up going fairly batshit crazy towards the end of season one. Certainly could go well as alot liked that series, personally gave it a hard pass but certainly hope it works out for your book

Carciphones_02 Yes, good luck with all that. You're quite ready to climb a moutain. But done properly, that would be pretty awesome !
I like the idea to delve a bit more into the psychology. That's something that wasn't done before, or that I don't know about much.
Have you seen that Stargate episode when they are stuck in a timeloop ? This was was probably the closest I saw where the characters eventually abandon all sense in the end.

You are discussing a very interesting topic. I would also like to study this issue in more detail, but now I am busy searching medical school personal statement writing service and a little worried about the entrance exams, but at the first opportunity I will re-read the subject literature on regression, I am very interested.
Here is the question. Honestly, I have no idea what it is. But I can recommend you a great service. He helped me many times to do my essay. I remember we were asked an essay on the topic if you created the world as it would be. I was so confused. There were a lot of ideas, but I couldn't put them nicely. So he turned to outside help.

When it comes to writing a regression story, there are a few key things to keep in mind.
- First, it's important to establish the conflict early on. What is causing the protagonist to regress? Is it an external force or something internal? Establishing this conflict will paper writing help to keep readers engaged as they wait to see how the story will resolve.
- Secondly, it's important to focus on the emotions of the characters. Regression can be a very emotional experience, and it's important to capture those feelings in your writing.
- Finally, be sure to wrap up the story in a satisfying way. Resolving the conflict and providing closure for the reader is essential for a successful regression story.
