Like the title says, I'm interested in knowing what rank I would have to be to maintain the initial 200 a month offer that is offered in the contract. I would also appreciate it if a rough estimate of earnings could be given based on rank.[No specifics of course].

The ranking doesn't matter.
For the ROYALTY contract, you can consider the rough calculation.
Let's say your novel has only chapters of ~1,5k words. As you know, every 200 words costs 1 coin.
Having this in mind, you need to know that each coin is roughly $0.02.
And, after taking all the taxes, and operational costs (including taxes, servers, staff, marketing, FPs, % in the sales over the coins price, etc. et al.) you'd need ~4,700 real unlockings (meaning, not paid with fast passes) to maintain 200$ a month, considering the above scenary.
Not counting gifts, privileges tiers, or other bonus.
And that's what votes or ranking doesn't pay you anything. Of course, the ranking is a consequence of popularity, but not every paying reader votes for the novel they spend on. Some vote for novels they read for free, as a form of compensation.
It depends a little of your lucky star and commercial appeal, I guess. Some say your novel must be good, but it's not totally true. The readers don't always like what is good, in the 'classic' sense of being well written, have a good plot, etc.
I'd say only 5% of the authors must earn more than $200 per month, only on unlockings.
No idea. I'm not there.
What you should consider is the subs. If your chapter cost is 6 coins and you can have 7000 subs per month, then I think you can earn 200$.
PS. Subs is not collection. It's the number of times your locked chapters had been unlocked using coins and not fast passes. You can see this on the Inkstone dashboard.

You need about 201 subs (unlocking premium chapter with real coin) per day
or about 6000+ subs a month
atata If you are in top 200 in trending you are 95% likely to be making 200$ or even above it. The power ranking is not a good measure for income and only trending gives the actual value.
