Remember his three alts? He's been having conversations with himself using them.
This guy is a legend. He made another post in one of the reviews and I replied with the link to this post.
Immediately, he changed his account name as if he would suddenly become invisible.
The same Aicrag_hosaj dude is now this Your Nightmare.
Shreya2711 keep going, it takes time to build momentum with how saturated the site is nowadays.
Today, I wake up to see that he got his alts to spam as well. I mean really, the other three accounts had never read the novel before a few hours ago and suddenly they are parroting what the guy says in every comment and had time to review.
If you're wondering where I got the guts to tell him to bugger off, I provided a warning specifically about what he was complaining about... TWICE.
This dude spams my novel about how boring it is every chapter, and so, like a good caring fellow who does not want him to continue blowing up my notifications, I tell him to bugger off.
Now this fellow seems to have fried a few nerves when he read that because he went full R. Words are cheap, I like receipts. Here's what happened in picture form;
[Btw, the comment he's talking about is still there, dunno what the hell he was talking about there]
So there you have it. I largely ignored him after the second reply because I could see he wasn't very... normal and he himself seems to admit it.
Though after seeing my notification chock full of this crap, I decided it would be a good expose for what kind of people are on this platform and what other authors have to deal with.
Believe me, if you think this is bad, what others go through here is far worse.
GegeSadewa Basically. The ones were the partner knows are worse, because they’re meant to make you feel like an impotent cuck.
A notable one is a hentai series called “and yet i still love you”.
Vomit inducing.
You’re looking for Supremacy Games then.
Wolfick That is up to them, not you. For what reason should they choose to advertise it?
Not exactly. The agreement between us and them states that they are required to make suitable effort in advertising your novel. It literally the only reason why they can justify takin your IP and 50% o earnings, otherwise it would be nonsensical.
Doomsday Online. Couldn’t handle the edge.
Not much of a useful answer since I’m also author, but i tend to pick my next novel based on the quality of the cover and the quality of the synopsis.
Not sure, but it sounds kinda like Shadow Hack.
I was surprised when I first found out about this. If Webnovel actually took this issue seriously, win-win and competitions can raise their value back up to how it was in the beginning.
As it is now? Very few care since the results will speak for themselves. Now, older top authors are using their own accumulated fanbase to sustain their newer novels since these randos keep botting.
To be clear the only thing of value WN provides in exchange for taking your IP and 50% of your earnings is advertising your novel on their platform and sometimes out of it.
If the advertising is no longer achievable and one has to do the work themselves, what is the point of signing?
I blame the company for their negligence and look down on those who lie to themselves that what they're doing is only fair since they are floundering.
I see threads like this often. Not just entitled children asking for more like low EQ Oliver Twists, but trolls who consciously stir up discord and bolt when trouble comes.
So far, after dropping his rant, OP has yet to respond sensibly to... literally anything. If he is aware of what going on, either he's biting his fingernails in regret for what he did (unlikely) or he's laughing at all the havoc he caused because he likely could never get this much attention in real life (most likely).
I've been writing on this site since early 2018 and I've seen them all, all shades of readers who come here. The Op, that idiot who insulted sloth, and that sythcake guy are the typical representation of the lowest grade of readers, so try to avoid engaging them.
Mcdavis_Octavia Yep, nailed it.
