I hope that Qidian wouldn't implement the premium system on original novels if they get so popular that they reach the top 10
My(BaiSiwa's) Suggestion for Webnovel's Original Novels
It will be too inefficient if originals stories have to be manually approved. Not sure if this exists already, but they should install a report function so readers can file complaints if the source material is plagiarized or outrightly trollish

The only thing we can hope is for premium original novel's price to be 4-5 ss. Cause, I cannot afford more than that

and i honestly dont think they will set up a premium system for originals. if they do...they..smh

If a chapter unlock will require you to play a 15 to 30 second ad, i think that could work as a premium way of reading original works.
If they forcibly introduce ss only unlock, it would kind of defeat the purpose of giving priginal works exposure while limiting or preventing future readers from proceeding further with an original story without paying.
At least this is what i feel.
I also dont know how much banner ads appear at the. Bottom of unlocked chapters. For me it appears every 2 or 3 chapters, not every chapter.
BaiSiwa maybe an original work will only have a possibility for ss unlocks when it reaches x amount of chapters, i.e. When the work has more than 200 chapters already.
Just a thought.

I can barely support 2 translated series in premium(just a high school student, so no money). If original novels also go premium instead of ad-walls, then rip my reading times
Water0202020 I personally don't pay for SS myself and I wait.
The novels with SS unlocks that I Read are The King's Avatar and Strongest System.
Other novels like NEET have ad watch as unlock option so it doesn't matter.
I can get about 30 SS per day already when using mobile app as I get about 10 from check in, 10 from watching ad, 5 from ps vote and 5 from energy stone vote.
It's enough for 3 premium chapters at least. FYI =)
While you dont have enough SS, you can try reading other works that may interest you, like original novels that are popular =)

17Sphynx17 yeah, I am mostly reading original novels right now. Along with free novels like FLTX novels, gate of god, and other currently free ones. But if original novels have high expense like 10-13 ss in future, it won't be possible. Adwall or 3 4 ss would be fine.

Am writing and publishing my own novel here through inkstone so that eats up a bit of my time.
But at least you have found other stories to read.
Regarding whether original works will end up getting SS, I honestly don't know what the guidelines would be for that nor have there appeared (right now from what I know) any discussions regarding the matter. So I can't really say anything is a certainty at this point.

Comments made on authors' novel should have a notification or something, making it more convenient for us to see what our readers have said.
It is pretty annoying that I have to check my chapter over and over to see if I have any new comments.

qidian should also put a patreon button for original novels too.
i have not seen one, so please do say if there is. Like with the translated novels or rrl were there is at least an option if they decide to add their patreon or paypal for donations.
not all will be given the chance for a contract, maybe this way they can still be compensated by the readers.
