TigerBlooImmortal yes.. if i am an author, i would go for rubber gloves and face mask.. my mc will do a brutal prostate exam upon his enemies. Even a maou will repent and ascend as an angel after this mc is done.

TigerBlooImmortal Many people, such as yourself may (I'm assuming) fail to understand how diverse swords actually are. There are few people who write about a MC with a rapier, gladius/spatha, executioner's sword, falchions, kopesh, hook sword's/shuang gou, sickle swords and other ancient African swords, and many others.
You see the dacian falx actually curves forward for armor piercing and is used much differently than a normal sword. In fact it was used to defeat the mighty roman army due to this.
It's not just a diversity in weapons needed, but a diversity in types of swords as well.
