Do you think it is possible for cultivators to exist in real life?
Well without cultivators how will there be stories of them in the first place if u thinka bout it
jats2004 that's isn't a very good type of thinking because some of the fantasy history of this world is obviously false, like giant dragon, nine heads hydra or jurmungand the serpent that encircle the entire planet or other myth
Well...my kids help me to cultivate my patience every single day...and I’d have to say my level of tolerance is pretty godlike by now. 
All of those shackles of mortality makes me angry. Especialy the catholic point of view! (I am not a religious racist or something, everybody has different taste, somebody prefers apple over pineapple and everybody can have a different point of view). But like 33% of the world population is following Christianity, we can say it is the main religion of our present world. It is said that we have a free will! but dmn how can we have a free will if there isn't a way for us to improve? I would give everything for a way to cultivate myself, to get stronger. But what do we get? mundane life without a slightest chance to surpass our mortal selves! All those lectures about free will but we don't even have a choice to get stronger, to change our fate! Dem, even the bible states that we have a free will, but still Lucifer got sent to hell because he disobeyed God. How is this free will if your ambitions differ from the so called God and you get sent to hell for punishment.
That's why i find xianxia cultivation the best thing ever. You are the only factor that decides your destiny.
I would give up everything for even a slightest chance to become a cultivator! Even if I've missed the best period of my life to cultivate!

I believe everything in this world follow some principles or laws. We give meaning to those we could see and understand. We also make theories based upon assumptions to satisfy our own curiosity.
We always disparage those who imagine things and have believes beyond imagination. Until we have a breakthrough in the field of genetics, people refuse to believe in the path of evolution or cultivation.
If you really want to gain an insight into cultivation, climb Mount Everest on your bare feet without the use of any equipments.
It's not necessary to reach the peak, bit there's a chance that you may gain something ( there were some people who could even cure chronic illness through these pilgrimages), that's the place with the highest chance to find anything

Overlord_Venus the human body is very complex thing, but is certain that that our's body is probably the most adaptable thing on earth, during desperate moment the human body can unlock a part of the hidden genetic potential and That result of very interesting change to our body (es our immunity system can work dozens or even hundreds time more efficiently and quickly for short term and that can cause the so called miracle that can cure chronic illness) or you can try to isolate 10-20 generation of humans in extreme environments and observe the effects that have on the human body and the genitic code...

I think it exist, it just different with from what we read on novels. I believe it must be the cultivation of mind. Like reaching the point where you don't tied with wordly desire.

Its' gotten to the point where cultivators like me are scared, however some athletes are low level cultivators.
It's but most people consider them wastes. People with no drive.
I mean guns are everywhere, and its not like in the novels were people have sword Q and stuff.
its more like we just live far longer, but only really around 300 years, or so I have heard of a few cases saying 500 years.

No. The material world is all that exists. People are limited by the inherent bounds of physics, chemistry, and biology, and as a result self-actualization is nothing more than a refining and streamlining of chemical processes that produce the emergent phenomena we experience as consciousness.
Meditation is the deliberate stimulation and inhibition of various neurochemical processes in the brain that result in various state-changes in consciousness. Repeat this habit frequently enough, and it will be adopted by the biology of your body as the new default setting, which can result in a different set of biological results such as greater focus, creativity, energy, etc. But, this only happens within those same set limitations I mentioned previously.
That's all. There are no magical powers you can get by meditating enough. You cannot "ascend". You are still the same flawed human self you've always been. You just happen to be a slightly better person.
And in case you're wondering, I say this as someone who actively practices old-school ceremonial magick and mediates for an hour or more each day. It's all just self-improvement ritual meant to speak to the sub-conscious. Nothing more.
Clowniac You are wrong because then the ability to create life would be easy. I believe in the non-matter world. I wish that an apocalyptic surge would arrive and invoke true human potential. Because a dolphin that can access more brain power than man has unique abilities, what could we evolve into if given access. To control 100% of our brain. To grow our body to be worthy of the power. To evolve into the perfect being, perhaps God saw. He'll maybe the fruit of knowledge sealed us/weakened us. One day we will break the shackles that bind us.

DaoBart maybe there is cultivator or maybe not. Maybe sometime in earth there's a cultivator and maybe there are a lot of them. And i think why we dont even have a single cultivator today is because if everyone become strong, the world will get chaotic everywhere you will see fightings killings just to get some precious treasure to cultivate. Hays if i will given a chance to cultivate and become immortal and given a chance to have superpower i will travel the universe or watch the whole world peacefully.
Maybe those genius cultivator in the past is already numb to chaotic fighting for power so they just burn all the files about cultivation.
What will you do if you have the chance to cultivate? What is your goal in the future if you become immortal? Are you going to rule the world or boast your power to world so that everyone will know your name?
Thats everything that keeps running on my mind when i think someday i will be given a chance to cultivate and become stronger and become immortal. Ahh! A wish that out of reach
