i KNOW translating is a very time consuming hobby and is a lot of work too..with those 2 points you have a very good reason to milk some money for premium chapter..but you have also check if youre still able to meet your schedule...if youre not able to, change it. Why am i saying that? Check TSS and LOHP for example..Both novel have Premium chapters...TSS promises 19 ch/w..but in the last few days we didnt even get 1 chapter for free..thats not a Premium system, thats buying a book. Dont say its not like that. LOHP promises 17 ch/w..in the last 7 days we got 7 chapter...guess i dont have to repeat what i wrote up there..
To make it clear. Its good that you want to earn some money and its good that you want to pay the translators and its also good that you are bringing the asian culture to the west (well englilsh tho), BUT at the very very least you have to keep your promises. If you keep up the schedules, people will be pleased and pay..if you dont..well..people will still pay but the mood is different...if people buy something with sour mood, they will be more reluctant to do that again..thats common sense
Well they should've just released the chapters like they normally did in the past. Just add more extra chapters in the premium category for buying with spirit stones. That way free readers and premium readers will both be happy and there will be no more complaints i guess.
There are too many novels to read and sooooo less spirit stones.

For me, the problem is not premium. I understand and support it. The problem is that once you pay premium to read a chapter, you lose the free chapter unless you wait for the system to catch-up.
The other problem is that the quality errors I was willing to ignore when it was free/4 spirit stone become unacceptable when I am paying 10-19 spirit stones per chapter.
The current system bases the chapter price on the number of words. Will this lead to the same problem, we see with the novels themselves, of wordy fillers? Will we now see more wordy, less concise translations?
I think a flat fee monthly system would work best. It could still be tiered to target the casual, not so casual, and fast readers. I see comments that monthly will not work due to the membership size on Webnovel. That makes no sense because if that is the case then this whole premium system is even less likely to work.

Hey guys, whats up with the premium chapters in Release that witch? I think there has been 2-3 weeks now without those. Also, older chapters are still asking for ss.
This premium chapter BS has practically ruined some novels for me. Over a hundred chapters behind on Immortal Mortal because I don't want to spend a stupid amount necessary to catch up.

why not just tell us to stop reading? make all the book became Premium? daily SS is 8 + vote 5 = 13, in browser i cant use the watch ads feature to gain SS, just take AGM or maybe WSSTH that just changed into premium, 1 chap is 12, and no other chapter, usually with 13 i can read to 3 chapter a day + many video ads, and you know what? i read TOO FUC*ING MANY NOVELS THAT HAS BEEN CHANGED INTO PREMIUM!!! those days when QI have a problem about GT that they call u just want money and money, I didnt believe it, now i believe it, i think i will not just drop the novel that i currently read, but i will drop QI too, i'll just go back to my lovely GT with FREE CHAPTER AND NO PREMIUM BAIT, and WW and many other PIRATES website
WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL read everything for free? Yeah, u are not lying....the only thing is that u can read only around 2 chapters a day. People usually read here more than just 1 novel...so basically they are forced to buy stones. It is damn cheap? Look in a dictionary what cheap means first, this is very expensive, I would have to pay 60 USD a month if every novel that I read with premium had just 1 new chapter a day. So no in is not cheap it is expensive. If it was 40 for month like subscription I would be fine with it, but it is at least 60 to 200 usd. I am from slovakia, people here have like 600 usd as sallary....

when is the last line ever going to be added to the desktop/ pc version, you can watch 1 video via your phone but still not on the pc, as this was posted on Feb 1 it's now 14/04/18 , as it seems like this beta is now the normal and not beta anymore in anyway
CKtalon cheers for the reply but would you know why as it seems odd as I watch the ad's on my main novel via my pc as I need to due to an eye problem and to be honest phone screens can be to small sometimes to use to read (I've never understood why people moan about it, it's only 15-30 secs of your life/time ) it seems a bit unfair that pc/desktop or pc tablet users get screwed over on stones due to using a pc over a phone or will thier be a windows 10 app coming soon to make it fair

If I have to watch 2 minutes of adds to get to the 12 to 13 spirit stones for each chapter of Library of Heavens path I'll quickly get fed up and quit trying to keep up, Just like I quit watching cable tv that I hadn't DVRed on a platform that would let me skip commercials 20 years ago.
