immortal_corrupt it's better to have all chapters with Ad. Ads give money. Buy the way with this new system each novel will cost around 200-300 dollars for each user. This just fantastic. Sorry. For this sum I can buy 4 to 10 real book or digital copy. Not temporary online text.

WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL If i may i suggest a " extra ad" or " volunteer ad" kind feature meaning by watching this extra ads(not for getting any spirit stones or extra chapter but only for support) we(users) can volunteerly support our favorite novels' authors and traslaters. And you can try to attract users by giving them a volunteer badge. It is merely a suggestion if not practical i apologize.

HJC agree that this system have potential... but since they release it along with 4.5 price increase... many people is repulsive... this is a fault in their planning...
And frankly... this new system will have major flaw if the price to read is not reasonable... the latest locked chapter from this site premium novel... already hosted in pirate sites... they buy stones and unlock chapter to host it and gain ad revenue profit... this will eventually make "real reader" turn to pirate site and leave QI... All free reader... most low spender reader... some medium spender... will leave since in pirate site they can read for free... this will left QI with small community of big spender and pirates... this will be bad in the long run... pirates will flourish because they have 10 chapter advantage...

WTF, i tryed buying ss and i pay and it says see later for update or something similar and i dont get charged on my paypal or get an email confirming that i made the purchase...tryed 2 times its been couple of hours in between trys, if you dont want my money fine by me...

You need to adjust the cost. 12ss per chapter means you only get one character per day that's slower than the regular release speed.
Will chapters become free to read after the more recent ones are out like now that we dont need ss for old chapters

I guess i can buy 10 bucks worth of stones if it means unlocking hundreds of advance chapters at once...yea purchased stones aren't really worth it unless there's like a HUGE release. I mean if it's one chapter per day and cost 4 to unlock, how long are you gonna use up the 1500 stones from the 10 bucks pack?

Well, I used to watch ads to get the premium chapters.
Now I guess I just won't pay anything. Unless the ads have a 1 or 2 to 1 payout, I'm not watching more than two ads for every chapter. Basically, you went from making some money to making zero.
That doesn't sound like a good business model to me.
On IM not one of the premium chapters has been automatically unlocked or ad locked so far. 695 is SS locked and the premium release is up to 713 now. How is that 10 premium chapters ahead?
The rollout was wrong. You guys should have lowered IM release rate from 21 down to 7 chapters a month in advance of Premium. Now it just looks like you took away 14 previously free chapters and slotted them before a Premium Wall. @WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL
Also if the video for spirit stones was 2 weeks out, why not wait until that was ready before rolling "Premium" out?
So, in a web novel if the premium release is 14 chap/week and normal is 7 chap/week. Then even if a user spends ss on chapter 2(premium chapter) he would not get a new chapter the next day (next day release will be chap 2). He would have to keep spending money to be ahead of the normal user?
This system seems broken!
OldManDuotian it depends on length of the chapter, some of these novels im reading are short, few hundred words per chapter, so i might get cheap premium chapter for it.

Just a little curious about exactly how the system works. Currently, up to chapter 693 is free for Immortal Mortal. If I purchase say 10 chapters, up to 703, what happens for the next day's release? Since I already have chapter 694, does nothing happen or does the system compensate and release chapter 704 for my account instead?
Edit: If it is the latter, I don't mind paying at least some money for this website. However, if it's the former, I will not be spending any money (unless maybe to unlock the end of a book when translation completes). The reason goes like this: If I purchase a bunch of chapters, then if no more free chapters are coming in, then I need to pay to maintain the "free" release speed. For instance, say I purchase 100 chapters ahead, and a chapter costs 10 stones. If I want to maintain the 100 lead (ie: maintain the free release speed), in 500 chapters, I will have spent 5000 stones, which is rough ~35$ for no gain pretty much.
