If you don't see a response there for 2 days, it's forever burried.

Ranting - People like you who are trying to bring some point are insanely rare here. Only with someone like you as a base, we can build a proper community, yet you can only make a single post at a time, while ranters who wants more free stuff will simply flood you out. That's also the reason - most of the contracted authors actually activelly advise to stay away from this forum because of how toxic it is, opting to make their own discords and enclose themselves within their own readerbase and coatuhors.

Cantiara well I never know that it was a pirated one, I just downloaded it from my android phone today since most of my favorite novels are there, it didn't came to mind that it's pirated since I did the same thing when I started to download this webnovel last 2018. I am a premium user as well as i used more than 10k worth of coins here. It's dissapointing that I can't continue to read my favorites due to high rise of fast pass needed in 1 novel. As I have been reading novels here for a long time it's normal that I got a lot of novels that I been reading for a while now and until now it's still ongoing. I understand that novelist/authors needs to be compensated for their efforts too that's why I have been buying some ss then. Of course when you buy books even used ones you know in the end you will be able to finished the book but this novels I am paying for now you don't even know when it will end. So i am asking for people to give us some slack on voicing our dissapointments so they can come up with solutions to this issue.

Hmm, I think you're misunderstanding something about the system here. Could you please tell me how do you think the fast pass works?

If you're a premium user and have been using SS (now coins) to unlock chapter, it stays the same (except for the part where they don't offer you bonus coins anymore when you purchase coins). The fast pass is only an extra that you get to unlock a non-privileged premium chapter for free.

And of course, you can rant, that's what the forums are for, for people to share opinions, but expect that there will be differing opinions as well. So, don't get upset when someone counterargues, and don't take it personally. It's just the internet :)

Why need to move when we still can read for free?

MotivatedSloth So you say you spent 110 usd, while using ALL possible bonuses. Okay, let's count it. As far as I remember, before the last update, you could get up to 40ss/day (10 daily on average+5+5 for both votes, +10 for ad and 10 for multiplier), meaning that you used up 1200free ss just from daily missions. I will intentionally leave the weekly reading and weekly bonus out of that, cuz I have no way to properly factor it. That means you read 11 000 + 1 200
= 12 200ss worth of text, meaning that it was more or less 2 440 000 words (since there are times when you pay entire SS for less than 200 words, factor those bonus coins from reading and weekly bonus here). You said it was 700 chapters? That brings us to a point of about 3.5k words per chapter, and no way in hell they would cost only 6ss(cents) per chapter, as that wordcount equals about 18ss/chappie... UNLESS YOU GOT 60% DISCOUNT. So you got on average 30times worth of normal novel, while paying about 3.6$ for a single 80k piece of work.

This whole math DISREGARDS the free chapters at the start of the novel, only from my benevolence, cuz if I were to add let's say 100 free chapters to the numbers, that would mean that a single chapter was even longer.

And I can definietly disagree, I know that I'm male so I deserve to die according to modern line of leftist thought, but I survived on instant noodles and frozen pizza (exactly 2ounds worth of insta food daily, 3 noodles per oound and frozen pizza per pouind) for 2 months straight, losing about 15kg at that! (not that I would recomend this kind of diet, my stomach almost stopped working when I came back to my parents sweet sweet home where the food was ample)

On WN, I'm reading only 3 books. WHen they will be finished, I might move to others. Why? Because as someone with actual life, duties, and chapters to write, I simply don't have enough time to waste so much time on low quality story that are good as mindless entertainment. If I want to read something good, I'm just looking up the list of good authors that I love and buy one of their books, simple. But looking how you act, I think I can safely bet that I read WAY more stories in my life than you did (considering how I used to read 3-4 books WEEKLY, back before I even graduated middle school. While the quality was nonexistend for big part of them, I still love some of them to this day.)

So all in all, calling me selective reader is kinda wrong in the very meaning of those words. And all the insults that you are packing your posts full? Well, that only shows who you are, not who I am.

Nope. I don't care about the changes in WN schemes. I'm a free user so no matter how much I hate it myself, they have the right to shove anything they want down my throat, but it's up to me to swallow it or not. Some time ago, governing party implemented like ~130$ monthly for every child. You just need to go to the office and you will recieve it. Now, single mothers who never dirtied their hands with work are demanding to create a new taxes for childless people and increase this social program to ~260$ because they are entilted to it.

Actually I probably can read that fast. I don't really read word by word when I read novels, specially so if i'm in mood. Its not bland monotone academical text that needed to read every single alphabet to make sense anyway. I still remember binge reading 2000+ chapter novel in 5 days recently. I won't argue your other arguments though because i don't buy coins. Dollar is effing expensive where i live 1=2700....

Rak0 True, some people can binge-read really fast or for dozens hours straight. I read Harry Potter Book 5 in 2 days, but I think people who read so much like us are not the rule, but the exception.
