All in the title. Why is it back? Last time the forum was full of threads telling how terrible and annoying it was.
It's been reverted to the 3 second ad, but yesterday it's been put up again.
As a user, the one thing i want when i open the app is to see my library. I don't want to, and shouldn't have to to some precision clicking to avoid getting dragged forcibly to some novel frontpage i don't want to read!
Also, the icon to close the new screen is the already used recommandation icon, and not an X, who would tell us straight away how to close it. Closing it doesn't take us to the library.
Additional point: most of the time, my last read is a book i'm waiting a new chapter from. I'm tapped out. Bringing me to its latest chapter again in this manner is pointless.

Tl;dr : new welcome app screen very bad. Need two or three clicks+wait to get to library now, compared to 1 before. It's a total user experience failure and WN should feel bad for it.

    I simply DETEST it. It’s the thing which could make me uninstall this app.

    Why should I be forced to see things I’m not interested in? Take me automatically to my library and it’d be perfect. I don’t even mind being taken to my profile or rewards page. But random recommendations? And shoving my last read down my throat?

    Who even suggests these ridiculous changes?! There are many other things that can be changed for the better and this is what they stick to!?

          Directly library startup is better since it's lets the app function well. The recent recommendation makes the app sluggish.
          All I want is, to directly enter the library after opening the app. Not just clicking random recs. 😒😣

              Well, looks like it's back to 3s ad, except we get a colourful new button to "explore" stuff now.

                Ugh. I still have the 3 second ad PLUS the awful UX of the recommendation screen. At least put the navigation buttons at the bottom so it's easier to run away. And no for the third time today, I don't want to read the most recent chapter of my most recently read novel again.
