Kyoaku these are copied from here and only the ones you also get here for free, not the premium chapters.

From RTW , Immortal Mortal and now LoHP? So what CKTalon said that it will take a year for QI to make all chapter behind a paywall is coming true.

If Paradise of Demonic Gods , True Martial World and Lord Xue Ying becomes premium that means all of the novels i followed will be behind a paywall looks like an aggregator site will be the next option then.

Yakumo :O Ich bin kein Deutscher, freund. Ich komme aus den USA aber ich studiere Deutsch in Universität, ich spreche Deutsch gern

I want to give an example.Let's talk about "Harry Potter and Secrets Room".The book has a 316 page and
in my country, it is 4.5 $.Assume that the book has a thousand page.its price should be 14.2 $.
And let's look at premium chapters. For 1000 premium chapters we should spend 4000 ss(1 premium chapters 4 ss).
We can buy 4000 ss for 80$ on this site.I don't think this is a fair price.(i did not add bonus stones)

I am a student .I in a month I get a like 100$.I can't buy ss so probably I will go some site who are stealing from Qidian or ı will wait for free chapters

LordFatCat There would be more public outcry against said system then for it, just saying. No idea where the best middle ground is.

Frosch The quality of some online novels could be compared to J.K. Rowling, they are few but present. That said, those novels are and will be the minority.

Jimmybo I understand your stance and appreciate it, however the premium system is somewhat flawed in that people can't support multiple novels (in small amounts) without being punished for it by waiting for the free releases to catch up. The reader has to either choose only one or two novels to support exclusively or spend much more money supporting all of their novels across the board. Again the system in place isn't bad, it is just there is that one glaring flaw. As previously mentioned, this may help us budget/control our reading urges but who knows.

Get real some of the translations here are translated or edited by middle schoolers...
We can take Netflix for example, with their monthly subscription which doesn't seem to have any problem to share between each series.

I'm not sure how long this thread can continue at the current rate. There seems to be a spiraling tendency towards undesired and unproductive arguments. Please keep the arguments civil.

So, if I pay lets say 10 chapters, then the next week 7 of those 10 chapters will be free and I will have nothing to read for the next 10 days unless I pay more?

I paid some chapters with free spirit stones, and I just realized I forced myself to drop the novel by mistake since I am not patient enough...

Well, guess I am out. I can go buy an entire book with over a hundred chapters for a couple of bucks at a store, here that would get me like 10 chapters. And companies wonder why people pirate things...

I mean I can understand it if you have to pay X for the whole book, or pay a subscription, but I refuse to pay by chapter. What is next, haggling with the translator for the price of every chapter?

Right? If I could pay a few bucks and get every chapter as it came out for a book, as a one time thing, that would be fine if the translation were professional quality.

Unpale That is my understanding of the current system, yes. Hopefully someone will step out and correct us if that understanding is incorrect.
