As the title says, I want to diss the romance novel with this kind of Brain hole plot!!!

I'm not hating it ... I respect those people who love this kind of novel!! But it's also fun to exchange opinion of what I hate in this kind of novel and what they like!!!🀣🀣

The Novel that I hate is the kind where the main character might be or might not be a Mary sue.

-She could be a genius but hiding it only for the male lead to find out about it.
-she always come from a bad/broken/greedy/poor/sick/etc family.
-she is a really beautiful girl
-somehow, all the girl hate her
-someone who is kind at her turns out to be pretending
-MC is impulsive (do it before thinking first) for example, the male lead give her a black card, she keeps saying she won't use it. But, when ahe goes to a clothes store for work.. some woman mocks her. The MC then decided to buy everything from the store with the black card receiving shock from everyone in the store. But, when the bullies left, she want to return everything back.
-MC is clearly stupid
-she is unlucky with the male lead, the male lead clearly hurt her, but she still can't firget the male lead
-the male lead clearly bully her, but she still fall in love with him because of his little help in the past (that he might remember but pretend not to, or he remembers it later in the story, or he doesn't know that the girl he helps is actually MC because someone else is pretending to be her)
- again, mc is stupid
- why is she so stupid?
-Male lead rapes her, but MC still reason and have sympathy for him
-MC works at male lead company, and sexual harrasing her, there are even time when he force MC to BJ him despite they have no relationship at all.
-MC works as a maid at ML house. All the female maid is a bitch and the male butler is an asshole. And the ML is clearly the deepest part of an asshole with brain full of shit treating the clearly very stupid MC with shit, but MC still fall in love with him because he help her when she is almost rapes by the worker in his house, despite he is the one who treats her worst.
-why is the people around the ML is evil?
-Why is everyone who is good to MC turns evil when they saw ML?
-the second ML is good, the first two or maybe 5 time he appears, only to turn out to be as much of an asshole with dick and shit stuffed in his brain?
- the side character is good, but they mostly are being blackmail, by the ML, side ML , the ML supposed to be Villainess fiance, ML admirer, FL secret admirer, some cannonn fodder.
-If FL has kind parents, they are sick
-If fl has evil parents, they are rich

Ughhhh!!!! I have more I want to say!!! But , I will continue later

    -Also... The FL is A virgin
    -It's important to be a virgin
    -Not a virgin is a no no no
    -Not a virgin, she will be labeled by the ML as slut
    -She is the one who got raped( usually by accident, but mostly by the male lead himself, but they don't know it until the hundreth of chapters later) and the ML hates her for it despite she is clearly the victim.
    -Ml treats her like shit duh
    -they always met first by sexual encounter. For example, ML is running away from enemy, and accidentally went inside FL's room. So, he force her to pretends to be his lover and acting like they are having sex.
    - FL is always the innocent looking one that turns out to be really amazing. But, she somehow only start to use it when helping the ML, and never, not even once she use it to run away from ML when she still don't like the ML the first time they met. Or, she might use it to peove something to ML, only for the ML to goes like this; " Woman, you have caught my attention!" And smile.
    Or!!! " Heh.. this girl is interesting!" And he shake his head while chuckling with his left hand covering his lips.
    - Everyone has no braincell in this novel except the ML and FL sharing two braincells.

      I think the worst is when the FL is also labeled as strong but in reality she isn't. Most of the time the ML/rich handsome cold hearted CEO overpowers her. Be it in regards to his strength, combat/fighting power, connections, money, brains and everything... If he's so much better than her and she can't do anything on her own why say she's strong? If she really were she wouldn't always be in need of his help or be submissive and listening to him.

      And also the ML is in general always the same like the FL. The main difference is often just the setting of the story, the plot is the same.

        Even though she's supposed to be a top assassin, she somehow gets outsmarted, outfought and outshot by every other character. Hell, even the male lead's maids are better armed and more well trained than she is! Never mind the maids, the male lead himself is better at the assassin female main character at fighting and shooting. Why even bother making her an assassin then?

            Akabane I used to be in that phase where I read that type of novel. But, after a long time, it becomes boring and stupid. i like it when things is more logical. No matter how crazy it sounds, As long there is a logical reason behind it.. I love it.

            Moat type of this novel with ceo and general always has the FL use her feeling more than her brain. It makes her stupid. Even if she is strong as hell, she will always bow down to the ML halo. The only time she use her brain is when she need to help the male lead.

            I hate her. Male Lead only kind to the person he care, mostly the type that give him benefit. Even if that character is his long time friends, if that character hirt FL, the ML will discard them by making sure the character become useless.

            People say it's overprotective ML. I say it's just a heartless monster. For the ML,. Everyone become stupid. And for the FL , the ML become stupid. Correction,. The ML is always a heartless monsters

              Tomoyuki Dayum!!! That character is so useless!! I Read the synopsis, and it literally says that she is an assassin, but how can someone outsmart her? She is stupid... Not using her ability to the full use!!!

                  Carciphones_02 I read the comic itself. Not only did she get outsmarted by her sister-in-law (or aunt), she also got outsmarted by the male lead, who kidnapped her son. She can't even fight other assassins and has to rely on the male lead (who is apparently a CEO and yet he somehow knows how to fight and use guns) to protect her. She can't even sneak around the male lead's house without getting caught. And she lost to the male lead's maids too.

                  I have no freaking clue how she is an "assassin." Even worse, the comic claims that she took two years to become a top assassin, but she displayed none of those skills (and you can't become a top assassin in such a short period of time, it's an insult to the other assassins). It seems like the author has no idea how assassins work, and didn't bother to do his/her research.

                        Tomoyuki I wonder if you can give me at least 3 things that you find interesting in her novel.. that doesn't make you curse at the world when reading it?

                            Carciphones_02 I only read the comic, not the novel, and I was so fed up by Chapter 20 that I dropped it. Part of the reason is because I didn't like it much, the characters were so unlikeable and the absurdity was over the top. I guess the only interesting thing about it was her son? I was hoping to see her get reunited with her son, so I read until Chapter 20...only for her to screw up, get caught by the male lead and get imprisoned. After that, I just dropped it. Too much drama for drama's sake, and there was nothing interesting about it at all (except for the son, I guess).

                            Honestly, if the story had been about a bumbling assassin who screws up (as comedy), I think it would have been far more interesting to see her try to overcome the obstacles and try to succeed. But no, it portrays her as a supposedly top notch assassin...only for her to get defeated by non-assassins who have no business knowing how to fight. Why make the male lead a CEO? He's better off as an underground secret society leader. The maids were a funny touch, though...but pretty cliche (clearly ripped off some Japanese anime). Also, if the story is about an assassin who sucks at disguising but somehow bumbles her way through by luck (just like Ciaphas Cain), I think it would have been amazing. But it made the mistake of pretending the main character is some top notch assassin even though every single person (especially the male lead) can see through her disguise within like 2 chapters of her pretending to be his driver. And he decides to go along with it. What the hell?

                                    An excuse to get her pregnant and tie the male lead to her (apparently nothing ties a man to a woman more than them having a child - he has to take responsibility eventually through marriage, and it's "romantic"). Also, I don't understand why the female main characters always end up falling for the idiots who raped them. So it's basically okay to be raped as long as the other party is rich and handsome? What utter BS. If this is reality, the guy would be sued and imprisoned.

                                    You know, I think it's more romantic if you actually have a guy who doesn't care who the father of the main character's child is and is willing to take care of him/her as if he/she's his own child, and treasure the main character even if she's no longer a virgin. A guy who would stand by the female main character no matter what and helps her heal from the trauma of being raped. Like the Japanese manga Bitter Virgin, for example. The whole idea that a woman must be "pure" in order to have true love with the man of their dreams and should give her virginity only to one man (the male lead) is unrealistic and absurd.

                                          I absolutely loathe the plots gravitating towards pregnancy because of this repetitive pattern! So, a couple is meant to be together because a child is involved...

                                          Variations:
                                          - The guy wishes a spouse to be a nanny of his offspring, one he can screw with legally. Somehow, it's romantic...
                                          - The guy (who happens to be not gay, is handsome, filthy rich and godly-smart, and on top of it, is narcissistic) for unrealistic reasons, needs to rent a belly to bear his heir. And it happens to be the most clueless woman he finds. Somehow, it sounds natural...
                                          - Lady gets pregnant after an awful one-night-stand and now the couple decides they will make it work. The plot develops with the guy clearly showing he thinks the woman is a cheap aquarium keeping his rare fish. Somehow, it's not disrespectful.
                                          - Poor woman seduces a man to help her raise her 'little bun'. Somehow, it's not sketchy.

                                          Like... I have a lot of words to express my loathe to these plotlines, but I realize none of them are kind to authors or readers.

                                              Well.. i admit, maybe some plot I write could have some sensitive content and it hurts us when someone hate us for it. Well, someone do deserve it, but some don't.

                                              Some romance novel is just too stupid.. I have read this kind of story a lot, but the one I like the most is when the man respect the woman, and the woman is smart and can stand up for herself!!!

                                              I don't remember this novel, but, it literally have anything I wish for a romance novel. It's about a woman who died(she has an ability, people in her former world especially her family call her lucky koi because she is really lucky and can make other people lucky too even just by touching her for a second.)

                                              She died,but her ability still remain. She was reborn in another world as a villainess from a book . This Villainess has a son, apparently from accidentally had sex with a man who the Villainess thought as the male lead, a ceo of abig company apparently. But, it turns out it was a movie king. The most popular actor. The actor didn't know that the chind is his son, but he like the child and the woman anyway. He never treat the woman badly.
                                              It's a comedy, but there is also a little bit of tragedy. Just a little though.
