From what I see this is just a pretty petty move, if you have a "New translator" waiting in the works, why would you have them start translating a series, that's been translated for over almost all of its chapters. I mean we know you lost to WW, but be civil about it, you yourself that Webnovel and WW are dual hosting. Are you going to start translating Desolate Era too? Its got like 3 books left.

Why hasn't epoch of Twilight updated for over a month. Both of these are done by endless fantasy.
WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL who translated previous chapters of OEM? I don't believe current translator did. He barely posts 3-4 new ch/week. If he could pop out 100+ chapters in 2 weeks then he should have translated new chapters

Personally, I have no objections concerning QI picking this novel. However, I want to point out 2 things:
1) The translations up to chapter like 650 were stolen from wuxiaworld, which is almost certainly illegal, considering the monetization via adds and spirit stones. Therefore, unless they compensate the original translator I disaprove.
2) If we're talking about ruining novels due to unstable release, I think there are more pressing novels than HJC. If we look at novels outside of this site, there are tons with a worse release speed, and the translator of HJC at least had very high quality translations, making him one of the better translators. If we look at novels on QI, it is safe to say that at least half of them have garbage translators and editors that can't write english properly. Using something like grammarly would literally be better than most editors on this site. This is making many novels unreadable and ruining them for real. Concerning release speed, novels like Throne of Magical Arcana, Starting from Zero, and Transcending the Nine Heavens definitely should have been payed attention to before considering poaching other novels if we're talking about ruining novels. In fact, the last 2 novels mentionned were some of the most popular novels in China, and the translation quality and speed for both of these is preventing me from reading either of them.
litarius Honestly... if I was binging on a novel that was already complete, I wouldn't care so much about who the translating team was or the drama going on in the background. If QI wants to take over they should formally declare that they're moving house instead of stealing the work behind someone else's back for the sake of money grabbing. It's not even in the interest of readers to waste these dumb stones on getting ahead of the chapters.
Translation is still ongoing and theres a few chapters to translate before it is finished. Why provoke WW for this? Zen had some issues before but that is sorted now. In fact the latest chapter of HJC was just released a few moments ago. QI could have just added another TL for OEM instead of forcing another TL to create another version for HJC. This is a dumb move in my opinion.
