Well. Time to delete the app again. I might come back one day if I get curious if there is a cost effective way to read here. To online sites I go.
Welp today's the last day of my subscription. I hope the elite membership comes back soon, as I'm not gonna pay for ss every week considering the number of novels I read here. Not even the highest purchase amount is enough everytime, considering you make it cost 10ss to unlock chapters always. Time to go into seclusion and let the chapters stockpile...
WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL, I don't know how you compensate your authors. I was happy with your Elite Arrangement tho. You really need to have a stable subscription based method. Buying SS is really expensive. It's much more expensive than buying a dang whole book. Its much more expensive than my netflix! Webnovel is a business, but please give a fair transaction with your readers as well. We are paying hard-earned money to read unfinished novels. If not, i'd rather find another reading apps which costs less.
Webnovel doesnt give 2 cents about your pitfull lifess.
They did not even respond once to clear confusion or even to calm the readers. They see you as cows ready to slaughter for your tender meat.

WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL is there a ballpark on when we will be able to subscribe again? The subscription really enabled me to read and discover a lot more than I could on the spirit stone model.
Floofuzz I completely agree with you, I donated bunch of SS away to my favorite novels and now I have few SS left and I can't just buy it. And the SS keep decreasing on their own and this way we can't even save any SS so we can read our favorite novel later on. Thias is unfair man.

I dunno about other people, but this is a punch right in my wallet. I spend almost all my free time reading, which means the subscription function was a massive savings for me. Prior to this I was buying the $50 SS 2 to 3 times a month (don't look at me like that!). I am probably one of the people responsible for the 'drop in income' some people saw, as I went from spending $150 a month to $25. Unless Webnovel has a way to track my statistics I can't even imagine how many chapters I read over the last month's subscription. What hacks me off is there wasn't a warning given that the subscription was only for a month, if I hadn't been searching for a way to renew today I wouldn't have found this post. If a customer has to search for an hour to get account information the company seems a lot less trust worthy.
Is the subscription option returning, and if so do you even have a timetable for it?

You should have really waited until you had your alternative in place before you cancelled the elite membership.
And publicised it more. An email would be good
I detest the buy stones to read stories business model and was extremely happy to learn that I could support the authors by buying a subscription instead and got it straight away. Looks like they don't want support, this move will just encourage more piracy.

WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL One of the most unprofessional companies and moves I’ve ever seen. I won’t buy another ss and may delete the app. Pretty sure I was over charged and didn’t get my full last month. You cut me off and my subscription date was the 16th??? I’m sure I won’t hear from you on this
WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL I am so disappointed. After subscribing for 2 months as an Elite, now every chapters I've read are locked again? So that means I need unlock them again paid using ss. I wasted my money in subscription for nothing. Really disappointing. 
Isn't this too convenient for you to start as u like and cancel as u like? Moreover with such short notice? How is it fair to us readers?
WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL why have my chapters all locked again??? I know that my subscription has ended, but that shouldn't mean that my books are now locked!! I am the type of person who likes to reread what she has read, especailly if i really like the story! If i have spent the money on a subsciption, i would expect to still be able to read my books after the subscription ends, I feel this is unfair!
garden_girl please reinstate elite membership I liked being able to read novels without unlocking again and again
So anyone know of good cheap replacements for this site as I can’t take this crap much longer I’ve been with this site for about a year now and I’ve seen it turn from a decent site into a money grabbing manic that has no regard for it readers or authors and I hope that the author can find a better site to show and sell there novels and for my fellow readers that wish to stay with this site I wish you a good luck and for those that know any replacements can they tell us about it so we can do the wise thing and not get trapped in a vicious loop masterfully played by qudion/webnovel
Please bring back the monthly subscription. I used all my SS to support our dearest author. I spend almost $300 to buy SS to gift our authors.
