Is this really a case where your authors had a drop with their income or because qidian/webnovel creators’ income dropped?!! Buying/spending SS to unlock chapters will cost more and will get y’all more money than your readers reading everything free.
I rarely buy SS because its too costly but I immediately subscribed to your elite membership after it came out.
Its too disappointing to hear this news. I’ve been a supporter of webnovel and qi dian since you started your app. I started supporting y’all even through the controversy that you had with wuxiaworld. Yet, all you do is to get more money from us, your readers.
I will stop supporting webnovel if you wont give us a reasonable prices for a subscription. Goodness, you are more expensive than my netflix and viu subscriptions! My netflix cost me $10/mo and I can watch my shows in HD with 4 simultaneous viewing! Yet, here I am paying 20 some dollars for unfinished books!
I wont discount the fact that our dear authors also need their income, and that’s where the readers support is important. The more readers you have, the more royalties you get. I, for instance, gift my fave books all my extra SS. I don’t regret supporting my authors. Just disappointed with this money robbing app.

ill have to drop comics and quite a few novels that are not as interesting to me as others once my subscription ends. on another note, can you make it so that bonus ss does not expire when you purchase the subscription? ive had to keep track of whatever ss is expiring that day and gift it out so it doesnt go to waste entirely because i forgot to cancel the automatic rollover for a time to spend the ss, then resubscribe. ugh

really. I mean it already cost me $39 dollars to subscript to this plan. also, you would think notification of this change would be visible in the app or website as inbox worthy If I did not decide to check forum I would never know it was going to be a one-month thing.
Subscriptions was such an incredible quality of life thing for me. In 100+ chapter novels clicking the "unlock chapter" button over and over, while a small thing, gets frustrating. Please bring subscriptions back as soon as possible!
Was trying to purchase the Elite membership for over a week, but no matter what I did, I couldn't get the option to pay (the payment button/prompt just kept infinitely swirling), I only got the prompt to pay once and it quickly disappeared. I guess the thing discontinuing explains why I couldn't purchase it in the first place.

My membership was supposed to end on April 6th and for some reason, it was deactivated almost two weeks ago on the weekend.

geeiein If the premium subscription was less then $10 a month everyone will subscription to it. Reducing the value of the subscription is not a bad thing because, it will increase the number of subscribers.
