We all put our SS free without getting anything from this privilege thing you have done fix this problem ASAP. Because our SS is being used unfairly by YOU and our privilege time is expiring then why have we purchased this shit!

I am shocked that after the privilege bullsh*t they just pulled, they are still being supported. Once I finish all my SS, I am out. I’m beyond disgusted by this platform now. They don’t care about the consumers at all. Terrible business practice.

Them not replying only mean one thing, it is a scam, it is the same principle scammer do.
vincentatd No they don't reply cause the staff are very busy. They barely respond to their contracted authors too. It's the same. They must get thousands of emails/messages everyday.

XOMatsumaeohana And how is that the customers' problem? That's not an excuse. If you're in the business of selling a product or service, you can never be too busy to serve your customers well. Just because they are also apparently too busy to respond to their contracted authors, and apparently some of these contracted authors (like you?) are so lenient and could just accept being treated like second class citizens, doesn't mean customers with complaints or questions should do the same too.
If they have too many messages to respond to, then they should get more resources. Or better yet, strategize better and don't come up with some half-baked programs that would anger their customers.
Cantiara I'm just used to it. I'm not saying it's okay to treat people like second class citizens I don't know where that came from. And I do have some issues regarding the sites and how things are handled. Like I do think some features like their report button could be fixed and features utizled better. I'm just a reader like everybody else

Yeah? Coz' most of your comments responding to these aggrieved customers just read a lot like sycophantic pro-WN posts.
Put yourselves in the shoes of these people. If you bought something at a store and for whatever reasons you are disatisfied with the product that you bought, so you came back to that store because you would like some explanations from their customer service, only to find out that you were being ignored by them and started to get frustrated yourself, and someone else just barged in to tell you "Oh, they're just too busy to respond to you. FYI, this is normal, they treat others the same way too, including myself, but hey I'm used to it, because that's just how things are, so you should get used to it too. Don't feel so disappointed or frustrated, because guess what? You're not that special".
How would you feel? SMH.
Cantiara Honestly, I'm not trying to start a fight here. Just explaining how the system works to some people who seem confused about it. I'm used to it, because back when I was writing complaining posts when I joined last year. I didn't get responses either. People are very toxic in comments section, do you know how many times I reported it? Got nothing as a response, and I waited long.
After experiencing something like that, I figured it would be best not to get hopes up for replies. Not everybody is satisfied with how things are on this site, but people do still read so I do understand where the concerns are coming from. I hope things get cleared up soon, and a proper explanation is provided too.
DaOist0015 You guys don't understand the Privilege. If you buy 5 advance chapters in one month and you will be reading up to the latest chapter lets say 100th (95th is latest for free) then when the month ends, you have to buy it again, but that doesnt mean you will read up to 105th. You will still be on 100th chapter as that's the latest. You pay to be 5 chapters ahead of everyone. Not to read 5 chapters more each month. When the privilege expires, you go down to 95th chapter and only if you renew the subscription, you can read up to 100th again.
This is how high sea sites get popular greed and you lose more then you win. The ones hurt are the authors and translators.

But just like what I already said in my post in another thread yesterday which was a response to your post (remember, the one in which you said that a certain user was just making a fuss and should have known what they're getting themselves into?), you should be more sensitive with what you write to these customers who are already frustrated enough with the situation and the lack of response from WN. You said you were just trying to provide an explanation on how the system works, fine, that's really nice of you, but there is a more diplomatic and thoughtful way to do it without having to sound like a bootlicker who makes excuses on behalf of WN. Coz' seriously, that's how your posts looked like.
