ThousandStarlights thx that helped me a lot. I mostly read translated novels and only a few popular originals that is why I never thought about it this way... I will rewrite the synopsis. It was much longer in the beginning but then I noticed that my novel somehow drifted away from the synopsis because I only have a broad outline for this novel... So i wrote a shorter one as a placeholder until I come up with something good ...
Why do I have so many collections and only so few views?
MotivatedSloth yeah I know that it is not much ouput. But don't forget pls that I am not contracted yet. I guess if I was, I could most likely produce 10 - 14 chapters per week...
SuperSilentSin same comments stopped and collections continued. No way to know if any real people are reading the story unless you can talk to them and they reply.
SuperSilentSin If you think writing a lot starts with getting a contract... It's the opposite. You write a lot, and then you might get a contract.
AI380 yeah.. unlike wattpad, we can't see who put our book inside their library. I don't see anything wrong with that. It can help to avoid confusion with bot too if we know who keep our book in their library.
MotivatedSloth indeed. While once a week can be enough to maintain a reading base, it's not enough to get a contract. I believe it requires 1500 words a day or something. Definitely want to be showing WN that you can meet the terms of the contract before they will be willing to offer you one.
ThousandStarlights i wonder the words count is for english writer or Chinese writer. You see.. i checked about this before, but, word count for chinese is different than english. If chinese is 1500 words, english is only around , 800 and more words like that.
Correct me if i'm wrong.
Carciphones_02 You are almost certainly right, but not sure the ratio there. In any case, aim for what the typical contract requirements are as a minimum.
ThousandStarlights Used to write 2-3 chapters a week, still got a contract. It's not just update speed/word count per day that WN cares about. Furthermore, the contract doesn't require 1.5k words a day-- only if you are aiming for Minimum Guarantee System (MGS) will you have to do so, and MGS only lasts for four months. No one is forced to publish that many words a day in the contract.
AI380 excuse there are probably quite a few people i can ask this but I clicked on your name and here i am.... I am currently writing my first novel or maybe light novel would be more accurate. So how would I upload it to web novel
siscon_hentai_plz go to this link, https://inkstone.webnovel.com/
